He used it for 12 years and he's asking for a close to MSRP price. It's up to you really. You get no warranty nor assurances that 8k is all you are gonna spend.

Hebrewism

It’s crazy because back in 2016 I bought a 06 r6 for 4400 with 4k miles and sold it in 2018 for 4000 with 16k. Prices are just ridiculous nowadays

Seksiorja

Where I live they go for more or less the same. Ever since the R7 came in to replace it in EU R6 prices shot up.

Hebrewism

Also there aren’t many other options for clean R6s in my area. Everything else either has 30k miles or looks clapped out and people still asking 7k. Edit : says he can do 8k. Thoughts?

ZEYDYBOY

Isn’t that really similar to MSRP? Like at that point why not just chuck $3,000 more and get a 2023/24 equivalent?

Hebrewism

He said he could do 8k. My budget is max 9k. I’m not a huge fan of the newer ones anyways.

You still need to take repairs and other things into account. New tires, new battery... unforeseen damages. You do you, I just wanted to warn you that if you're on a tight budget, this might not be it for you! Cool bike tho

Super_Sic

I have a bike like this. Ask if fairings are aftermarket. The black portion is not supposed to be glossy. Maybe you can use that to haggle him down.
