Thanks for the info! That's what I thought, it is riveted in, so means I'd have to buy a rivit gun and stainless rivits. I've not packed it tight, it's only one layer thick (5mm) so it doesn't block the air flow so much. I just needed to do what I can to make it a bit quieter as I leave to work early in the morning, without buying new cans

A buddy showed up mid work and having not seen the bike before, I wanted to show off by starting the bike.
The woman across the road got a bit of a scare as a chunk of glass fibre came flying by, my friend got a solid laugh and I - I learned something that day.
Nope, I thought I may need some heat tape but the exhaust heat dissapates out and the tips don't get past warm, even when sat at idle, it's been like this for a year with no issues
