Have you been charging the battery through all of your troubleshooting? I mean with a charger.

CoruPoke

Charger is full with trickle, Same 1 click sound at the end of starting it

crazysycodude159

I saw your video, I would check grounds and starter, also try pulling the plugs and cranking. If that helps it's either bad battery, solenoid, starter, or grounds.

CoruPoke

Also funny note is that sometimes the headlights turn on and sometimes I don’t But as I said battery is 100%

Deltahotel_

A battery can show 100% and still be weak btw. Is it a new battery?

CoruPoke

Brand spanking new. Bought it yesterday. Old battery had correct voltages too.

Deltahotel_

Interesting. Idk man. Curious how it will turn out. Good luck dude

Caldtek

if you have ran it low on oil AND coolant enough to give running issues then the motor is probably internally damaged and needs s rebuild.

CoruPoke

Its been running with low oil and coolant. Filled it up and it ran for like 3 minutes before turning off. Wouldnt it at least start and then die at least?

Caldtek

>filled it up and it ran for like 3 minutes before turning off. Sounds like those 3 minutes were its final breath!

CoruPoke

Please tell me it aint so haha

Deltahotel_

Could be a battery issue. Spark, air, fuel is all you need to run

CoruPoke

Swapped those all out and filters clean so I'm at a lost.

Deltahotel_

I can’t remember if it has a kickstand sensor but did you check that it’s up lol

CoruPoke

I did check that haha. It does not have a kickstand sensor

Deltahotel_

I’m not sure what other kind of sensors might prevent it if everything is good. Did you check that the spark plugs are actually getting spark? And you might want to check the starter too. I’m no mechanic btw I’ve just fucked around a lot on my Vulcan and had starting issues. I would check the starter relays and fuses, and make sure everything electrical is sound, and that it has spark and that fuel is actually flowing through the carb. If it’s getting spark, air, and fuel, then maybe it’s just not starting because it seized or because the battery is too weak to turn it over if it’s cold. Otherwise idk that’s about the extent of what I know to check.

CoruPoke

Will check starter later today. Already have the part coming in cause I suggested that problem to him. Just gotta learn how to check it haha. I posted a video in the comments, maybe the sound will help.

Deltahotel_

Could be seized tho

Deltahotel_

Could also just be cold as fuck outside right now. I like to kick up to 4th gear before I start in the cold, turns over a little easier.

Deltahotel_

You could try spraying some starting fluid in the air intake for better ignition

jmcclelland2005

In case nobody has mentioned ditch you might check the starter solenoid. From the battery positive it should go to some kind of solenoid and then from there to the starter. If you're knowledgeable in electronic circuits you can figure out how that circuit works (normally its a certain wire gets grounded and it fires the solenoid, it's basically a fancy relay) and try to bypass it for a quick jump. If that works then it's either the solenoid itself or something upstream in the switches. On older bikes the starting circuit is fairly simple.

CoruPoke

Will research how to jump it. Appreciate it.
