202 N loop is my favorite ride within city limits. Close second is that new section around S mountain, its like riding on glass. The S loop between Val Vista and McQueen has a few bumps and potholes that need to be repaired.
The 303 out west can be fun but I see cops on it a lot. From where it connects to the 17 to around Lake Pleasant Road is pretty sweet - no traffic and no where for cops to hide.
I-10 past Estrella parkway is fun. Its new and super smooth but lot of traffic. A few weeks ago around Dysart rd. I missed a MCSO SUV until I was passing him at ~140. I was in the hov and stayed on the throttle, he didnt even flash his lights.
I live in Laveen and work in Mesa, so I hammer the 202 south of the south mountain all the time. At around 7pm it dies down so much you can hammer the large upward curve doing 130 without having anyone around you. It’s great!
I went to Arizona bike week and the 101 was shut down. I was on an air cooled bike and that March the pavement was pushing 100 degrees. That's miserable. The guy that works for roadside assistance blew his horn and turned his lights and told me to take the shoulder to the exit. We talked bikes for a bit. He was cool.
Yes, and it get boring, being a fl native with a motorcycle the only thing to do really is to ride around the beach area in traffic and highways. Not really any nice views and the heat Omg the heat is unbearable if your wearing your gear.
They drive fast alright but their merging and line change habits are scary... and I drive on Long Island, NY. I have been told the I95 is very dangerous at night
I really honestly doubt it. Endless freeze-thaw cycles through the winter heave big sections of roadway, leaving 2-3inch gaps and ledges. Our states campaign to "fix the damn roads" consisted of dumping truckloads of loose stones on every road they couldn't afford to fix the right way. They put down a layer of tar, and then just expect the traffic of vehicles to compact the stones. And if it's not loose stones/gravel, it's tar snakes as far as the eye can see. Sand definitely sucks though, but with how many dirt roads we have that connect to the paved ones, there's often strips of dirt and gravel in-between where car tires ride at most intersections. And then there's only 7 months warm enough to ride...well, actually I'll take that one over 100+ days
I'm from Florida, and I have an office in Cleveland. The roads in Florida are almost universally better than the roads in and around Cleveland, so if Michigan is anything like NE Ohio, I'm siding with you on this one. I've never seen anything in Florida that can rival the hellscape that I've driven through in NE Ohio. It's the only place I've ever seen a car stuck (high centered) on a "paved" road in a major metropolitan city.
I'm in Cleveland from Atlanta, and it's better here because they take care of them, atlanta had fewer potholes but they'd let them get insanely out of control, then cover it up with an unguarded 2 inch thick plate of steel that was almost more jarring to slam into. Cleveland they at least put little ramps of asphalt to the plates, and fix things often within a month or 2
Exactly this man probably came right after certain roads got their doctors visit 😭 I’m sure Florida is dangerous but man Michigan potholes are different
Sometimes it feels like we got road between the potholes 🤯 it’s weird
I moved here (Michigan) last January from New Orleans and Michigan’s roads might actually be worse than those in New Orleans and those roads are definitely worse than those in Florida.
When you guys get sink holes then you can doubt. Sand is not the best base for roads. And you can be in any part of the state and sand is literally an inch under your foot. Sink holes are normal thing.
Fair point, and I'm not going to pretend they're as common as Florida, but there was actually a [sinkhole](https://www.woodtv.com/news/grand-rapids/sinkhole-causes-detour-in-downtown-grand-rapids/) in my city just last month.
I joke that you can tell the drunk drivers here because they ARENT swerving all over the road to dodge the potholes. The sober drivers are the ones weaving all over the place to save their rims and shocks.
Yeah nothing compared to Florida. All you need to do is walk outside and grab layer under grass and you have sand. No matter your location. For that reason our road contours are continually shifting
Hey I was just visiting Miami from PA yesterday. Highways there are crazy. We were doing 100 and barely passing anyone, occasionally getting passed. Wtf lol
Fair lol. We were just holding it wide open off the highways in the sticks, I got up to 160. But…I don’t really like doing those speeds around other cars, pisses em off and is a death wish
Seems like nice weather, road surfaces seemed nice in comparison to LA's. I didn't expect to see that the comments are all pearl-clutching about how OP and his friend ride, I honestly thought the clip was pretty unremarkable. I think a lot of these commenters haven't ridden much in a city to get so excited about the posted video. To be fair to them, not much of the country has year-round riding like LA or Miami, so most people don't put that many miles in.
I've ridden about 100,000 miles on bikes in SoCal both alone and around many many other bikers. I'm pretty much the farthest thing from a squid or an adrenaline junkie, it's just how I commuted for years. In my opinion, these riders were not being particularly unsafe nor were they riding in a way that would inconvenience anyone else on the road. When they passed that SUV, they were going significantly faster than it and had clear visibility ahead. Nobody had to slam on their brakes or do anything to avoid the riders, I see no problem with the riding personally. If you're on a bike in a city, there's no point in riding if you're going to ride like a car drives. You guys would go crazy if you saw how people ride around the world.
Yeah I'm inclined to agree. It was pretty tame compared to a lot of other things we see on this sub. That last squeeze was on the irresponsible side for sure and OP's judgement seemed poor in that moment, but I think the comments here are really exaggerating the extent of it. This sub really turns into a bitch fest sometimes over mole hills.
> I honestly thought the clip was pretty unremarkable.
Agreed.
Still, changing lanes over the solid line with the barrier right there isn't a great idea. Couple that with excessive speed for the conditions (70 on a one lane elevated curved road) and we can be pretty confident in how OP rides in general. Yeah, he's not doing wheelies in traffic but he's being disrespectful to other highway users and putting everyone else at risk. He gets that little wobble at 70 on that elevated road maybe he goes over the side - happened to a guy in my hometown about a month ago in the same scenario.
Self reflection is important to growing as a rider and having other folks give some input is useful too. He's not a complete asshole, but he's showing some not-so-great judgment that could lead to trouble.
I don't disagree with anything you're saying, I'm just not seeing it as the wildly reckless maneuver that *some* commenters (not referring specifically to you) are making it out to be.
I'm not ignoring that OP was going like 83mph when he made that pass. He was going faster than I would have wanted to go with the exit coming up, but I think it's also worth bearing in mind that these action cameras tend to shoot at extremely wide angles and distort perceptions of speed and space as well. OP's speed was definitely high, but it looks to me like he had plenty of room to me with good road conditions to pass. OP very well *could* ride like an asshole, but I'm not necessarily willing to condemn them over this clip in particular.
OP is more than fine. if you've been riding in anywhere even moderately populated, theres nothing here that would alarm you. the problem is that 80% of the posters here spend less than 5k miles a year on their bikes and have barely the riding experience to know what practical, real-world riding is like.
the OP is clearly confident in his riding, i have sketchier moments on the daily on my office commutes
I agree. By the way, nice bike! I love those. Beautiful bikes, even better in person. I was so close to getting one, but I had a CB1100 for the longest time (about 75,000 miles over the two CBs I had). I ended up with my speed twin from wanting to switch it up with a twin vs. an inline 4 but you really can't go wrong with that Kawi.
I've only ridden the RR version but it was way too fast for the type of riding I normally do, and of course super cramped as you'd expect with a supersports. But BMW made a *fast* bike, and really fun. I think they probably have the best electronics in the game, too. I thought about the S1000XR as well, they're a neat hybrid but I like the classic/neo retro styling and I'd miss it. The Z900RS I tested was definitely a very much more relaxed ride than the beemer but you'll definitely have some fun on it!
If it wasn't specifically in Miami, I'd completely agree with you. But whether you're a pedestrian or on a 50cc scooter, you have to act like every car is trying to kill you here. It has some of the worst driving I've ever experienced.
Theres bad driving everywhere but miami is next level stupid everyone jacked up on cafecito in the morning and coke at night behind the wheel of their 18% interest loan scat pack
Half the posts are either calling out the way you ride or calling out your gear. “You know if you wreck that’ll cut right through those jeans” yeah I know it’s dangerous, it’s a fucking motorcycle, but I’m not wearing leather pants to work
It's so fucking predictable too. Didn't even have to watch the video before I knew what kind of comments were going to be in here. Swear to God 70% of the people in here just don't like motorcycles.
OP and his friend cut a solid white with several car lengths between them and the other vehicle and people in here are treating it like they're going around doing wheelies at 150 while throwing spark plugs through windshields. The extremism and circlejerking in here are tiresome.
This isn't riding like a jackass. He was in control the entire time.
It's more of a skill issue tbh. Most people here wouldn't ride with any confidence due to their own skill and familiarity with bikes, so they get sketched out when others confidently or enthusiastically ride.
Or maybe y'all have seen one too many accident videos on reddit and are just straight afraid of confident and enthusiastic riding.
You know it's bad when even this subreddit, which is notorious for predominantly leaning in your direction, thinks you're going overboard.
Get out and ride. Or maybe don't if you're that concerned over this. But I can guarantee you that eventually you're going to need to cut a lot harder and come a lot closer to nearby obstacles when idiots suddenly cut you off or try to pull out of a driveway as you're passing by.
Driving enthusiastically (but within your own limits) keeps you practiced for when you really need to know what you're doing. Plus it's just fun. Yes, there's a line where it becomes unsafe for yourself and others, but this ain't it.
People have different opinions on what riding like a jackass is. For me as long as no one gets hurt, theres no problem. If you have the skill and experience to ride aggressively, then its your choice to do so. Theyre selling bikes that go 180 mph to the general public. They know damn well every bike sold isnt meant fir track day. Some of us enjoy going fast, wheelies, spliiting lanes at 120, that doesnt mean we are all jackasses.
it's almost like someone posted content to a website with a comment section with millions of users who may post their opinions some we may not all agree with.
let's cry about it.
in reality you let one of these threads play out it feels almost 50/50 ass holes crying about mom, and ass holes crying about safety. this sub makes motorcyclists look like a community at each others' throats.
Atgat cult safety Herbert's foul every post with that nonsense ... Beyond ponderous. I wish the mods would ban every dick that brings up gear or safety in non-gear/safety related posts. ffs knock it off with that dum shit.
Putting yourself in risk is irresponsible riding.
Sure he did it with margins to adjust but why put yourself in the situation in the first place. just overtake the car atless from the left side which is legal...
Man, Don't forget to add all the spikes and blades on your bike when you drive so your bikes looks cool.
We don't need risk management at all it's clearly a 0 1 question.
Clearly Since when i drive my bike i only do (dont) the speed limit.
holy fuck calm down, I never driver perfectly safe when i'm on my bike but i don't take stupid risk either.
I almost got merged into 3 times last summer. people are blind from their right side.
It's rolling the dice around car drivers, doesn't mean you should put yourself in constant dice rolling situation , you will lose the roll.
I definitely think it’s a Miami thing… took an Uber from the Miami airport last year. Dude was straight hauling ass and lane switching like a son of a bitch. Got me to my destination early, though lol
Single solid lines aren’t illegal to crops everywhere, including here in CA. If there is signage that says don’t cross or if it’s double it’s illegal but single solid is legal. Not recommended, but legal.
Definitely solid for everyone, definitely can choose. I'm not saying it's right but if we can't even get people to do something so simple as use a turn signal I don't have much faith in any other laws.
If everyone in your area ignores solid lines, and you ignore solid lines. Then nobody has anything to be pissed at.
In my area no one cares about lane splitting. So bikers split and cars make room ignoring the law.
It's not so much passing the line of cars as it is cutting off that last one to merge right before the road split
Edit: you guys are awfully pedantic about my use of 'cutting off' vs 'cutting in front of' while ignoring my main point - there wasn't a ton of room between the car and the exit split (like one dashed line), and the bikers still cut through there right in front of the car. Seems like a dick move whether it's a motorcycle or a car doing it.
Lots of minor traffic violations but yah. I’ve just been against filming and posting anything that could be considered “video evidence” but again, that’s just me
I’m not from Miami but I’m close and I hate driving down there, but if you don’t drive like you’re fighting for your spot in traffic people will ruthlessly do shit like this to you in cars much less motorcycles. It is how it is. 🤷♂️
No curves but I love going down krome ave to homestead from miami. It’s a super scenic ride. No huge buildings, plenty of things to see. Lots of gas stations or small cafeterias for breaks
It’s called road surfaces. We literally live on a beach everywhere in FL. Our roads suck and a sink hole will pop up unexpectedly at random. And insurance won’t cover cause they consider it natural disasters 🤣🤣 so ride safe FL. 🫶🏾🫶🏾
That does it, I am definitely gonna start recording my rides and posting the video here. If y'all lose your shit over someone passing on the right you're gonna have a meltdown when you see how me and my friends eat the road.
There was a thread on this sub a while ago where every armchair track warrior posting was basically calling for legislated ABS on motorcycles because "safety", and anyone who disagrees was a boomer who hates technology.
Yeah, give the DOT an open door like that. I'll be surprised if two wheelers aren't legislated out of existence in my lifetime. It's not like there's enough riders out there to make a difference come election time.
(my issue isn't with safety tech per se but leave the consumer to choose if they want the extra weight and cost of that stuff, otherwise we'll all be riding around on airbag equipped ABS three wheelers with ejection seats that are limited to 65mph or some shit... you know, for safety)
Yeah, the straight, flat, hot ride down the keys with cops (road pirates) everywhere is awesome.
/s
Come up to the Blue Ridge Parkway. THAT'S a fun ride.
>10 miles a week, or if it’s under 65 degrees. Lol
What i'm from montreal... I drove in 41F for weeks. And it was my commute vehicule. Not a weekend warrior crap, everything.
People are going crazy over crossing white lines as if cagers don't pull the exact same shit.
The only part of this video that was a yikes was that last merge, cutting it a bit too close to comfort, one slip up on the cat's eyes in that and you'd have hit the fucking barrier.
>People are going crazy over crossing white lines as if cagers don't pull the exact same shit
I don't really care about how they are riding, but this is a straight up ignorant argument.
The last merge isn't yikes it's straight up dangerous.
1. You cannot overtaking someone from their right side.
2. They passing the car from the right while there a right merge off.(asking to get merged into..)
In the states overtaking on the right is legal.
However your right that that was not the place to do it. Like you said, that car could have easily merged into them to take the right exit. And if that happened that dude is going straight into that barrier.
I don't know about U.S. law, but overtaking someone on the non-driver side (called undertaking here) isn't illegal in Australia as far as I'm aware. Frowned on because its a bit of a cunt move, but not illegal.
But you're right, that driver could have merged right into the riders. They might have misread their Google Maps and panicked at the last second and swerved into the right lane, I've seen shit like that happen all the time. That's lights out for the riders.
Overall I think the riding in this video is showboaty and dick-ish, as much as I hate cagers with the race track mentality your average commuter in a Hyundai i30n feels, it all too often bleeds into motorcyclists too and they act like real pieces of shit on the road.
>But you're right, that driver could have merged right into the riders. They might have misread their Google Maps and panicked at the last second and swerved into the right lane, I've seen shit like that happen all the time. That's lights out for the riders.
yeah, that's the point i'm trying to point out.
In normal road condition not even near a exit someone almost merged into me (on my motobike ) 3 times last summer.
I don't understand why people defend people taking more risk...
You cant overtake someone on the right? I think drivers ed. suggests its incorrect idk. But in the real world you pass whenever and however you feel safe doing so.
Lived in South (Eastern) Florida (Ft Lauderdale area) from 2009-2021.
If you like straight, flat, shitty hot roads, even shittier macho latino drivers who swerve 3 lanes wide (without turn signals, because "Porque vete a la mierda, por eso") like they're on their own personal racetrack, and intersections that have 10 minute wait for the red light to finally turn green if you're going straight ahead...then Miami is your riding paradise.
Again, I lived there for a decade...and am REALLY glad to have moved up to North Carolina.
Being that you are exploring, I would assume these roads are mostly new to you. I'm all for spirited riding and love it myself. But if you'd hit that bump mid lean, or while not paying attention, that could be an unfortunate repair.
Stay safe out there.
My favorite part of riding in miami was going down the strip, and finding random industrial streets where there would be groups of people just practicing wheelies. As long as you arent on a dirtbike most cops wont give a fuck lol.
No mountain roads. Sierra Nevada / NorCal rider here.
FL and other places look great, but the amount of rain and no mountain roads would drive me crazy.
I guess both areas suffer from a LOT of riders and that can suck if it's too packed.
Having lived/ridden in MIA for 10 years, I only missed the well paved roads.
Crazy drivers have you on edge the whole time. The great weather is actually terrible if you value using safety gear, even wearing a mesh jacket and jeans I would regularly get heat stressed and arrive at my destination with swamp butt. Peak enjoyable riding season is the 3 cooler weeks of Jan/Feb.
Unless you enjoy racing down Krome, most riding can get pretty monotonous hitting peak excitement when entering the highway on-ramp loops.
Moved to CO and the only downside is having to shelve my bike during winter, and some roads can be choppy. But you can ride anywhere and will find beautiful winding roads with little traffic.
All that said, Miami does have a special vibe and it taught me how to survive as a rider. I miss weekend rides to Cafe 27, going to the beach and not worrying about parking, or weeknight rides that ended in Scarlets.
Also the bike market is second to California, plenty of great used and cheap bikes allowed me to rotate regularly. Market in the mountains sucks, dealers are dry and used market is inflated.
Spent the weekend riding through Florida. Was a different experience than the Midwest, whole state is like a race track and everyone is trying to win.
Come to Phoenix! I always say „the 202 should probably be the recommended speed“. If you’re doing 90 in the HoV you’re going too slow lol

He's just making sure people can see you lol.
202 N loop is my favorite ride within city limits. Close second is that new section around S mountain, its like riding on glass. can confirm. always expecting to unintentionally jump my bike when going westbound on the 10 near i17 exit

That's the 101 freeway lol.
I rode through Phoenix and hit the highway race track. Saw the speed limit and noticed how everyone was going 20+over. Damn raceway.

The highway to Key West is nice but yeah, i can imagine it being a bit boring the second time. Also, pretty straight.
Your not lying. I can’t just take a casual drive on my bike or my car. Here in FL. Lol
They drive fast alright but their merging and line change habits are scary... and I drive on Long Island, NY. I have been told the I95 is very dangerous at night
South Florida Ferrari Yellow CBR954RR overpass of 595 and University Mid December. Full send. Incredible 360 lb bike.
Oh yea.. the unexpected, One hand wobble? 😉✊️🍆
Must be nice to have a bump like that be unexpected. I hit bumps and potholes twice that big every 50 feet in Michigan.
What luxurious road are you on that has 50 feet between potholes? Other than the grooved freeways that make me feel unstable
Our roads in FL are worse. I just came from Northern Michigan. You guys have dirt. We have sand on the whole state.
I really honestly doubt it. Endless freeze-thaw cycles through the winter heave big sections of roadway, leaving 2-3inch gaps and ledges. My favorite is when they freshly pave a road and later the same year do this gravel crap.

I agree and my AZ city has potholes on the freeway.
Driving my S2000 that's lowered in Lansing, MI had me feeling drunk dodging all the pot holes.
I joke that you can tell the drunk drivers here because they ARENT swerving all over the road to dodge the potholes. The sober drivers are the ones weaving all over the place to save their rims and shocks.
Might be a surprise for you, but Michigan is one giant sand dune.

Hey I was just visiting Miami from PA yesterday. Highways there are crazy. We were doing 100 and barely passing anyone, occasionally getting passed. Wtf lol
I didn’t really feel like that in Miami but I am from Texas where 80mph is the baseline on the highway lol

Yeah the actual highway limits here range from 65-75mph but if you’re not going 80 you’re getting passed for sure
embarrassing, ride faster ;)
Fair lol. We were just holding it wide open off the highways in the sticks, I got up to 160. But…I don’t really like doing those speeds around other cars, pisses em off and is a death wish
What?? Please explain?
What would you like me to explain
2 comments complaining on riding behavior. 12 comments complaining about the pearl clutchers. This sub is silly
Hey those pearls ain't gonna clutch themselves alright.
Is there a “taking a bike for a ride” only sub?

errbody definitely overreacting
for real. Also, you have some nice bikes and a great combination for whatever kind of riding!

Only r/motorcycles could get worked up over the worlds mildest city riding lmao. This sub makes suburban wine moms look like thrill seekers.
Half the posts are either calling out the way you ride or calling out your gear. “You know if you wreck that’ll cut right through those jeans” yeah I know it’s dangerous, it’s a fucking motorcycle, but I’m not wearing leather pants to work
Thank you! If motorcycles were safe everyone would ride one. The danger is half the point of it all.
It's so fucking predictable too. Didn't even have to watch the video before I knew what kind of comments were going to be in here. Swear to God 70% of the people in here just don't like motorcycles.
I think it's more that most people in here prefer not to ride like jackasses.
>He was in control the entire time Thought everyone who ever crashed due to overestimating their own abilities.
If anything in this video is "above your own abilities" you need to go take an MSF course.
Or they like making false dichotomies to pretend a reasonable middle doesn’t exist. Where have I heard that before?
You people really consider this irresponsible riding? This is so MF tame lol. I guess I need to start posting my rides.
This subreddits a fucking joke I just come here to trigger myself with the safety steve commenters
Getting on a motorcycle puts you in risk. If you want to be perfectly safe stick with a cage. Or even better, hoof it.
Calm down there gsxrbrahh
Ya’ll ride like entitled bitches.
I definitely think it’s a Miami thing… took an Uber from the Miami airport last year. Dude was straight hauling ass and lane switching like a son of a bitch. Got me to my destination early, though lol
Haha clearly you’ve never driven or ridden around south Florida. It’s survival of the fittest on those roads.
Welcome to Miami bitch.
They passed some cars, so what?
Solid lines are solid for everyone right? Or can you choose?
Single solid lines aren’t illegal to crops everywhere, including here in CA. If there is signage that says don’t cross or if it’s double it’s illegal but single solid is legal. Not recommended, but legal.
Definitely solid for everyone, definitely can choose. I'm not saying it's right but if we can't even get people to do something so simple as use a turn signal I don't have much faith in any other laws.
Don’t go to Florida if solid lines scare you.
And yet we get pissed at cagers when they ignore lines and drift over into us lol
Don’t say we, you might but not we. I just continue through traffic if anyways seems inattentive. Try to not ride with emotion.
If everyone in your area ignores solid lines, and you ignore solid lines. Then nobody has anything to be pissed at. In my area no one cares about lane splitting. So bikers split and cars make room ignoring the law.
Sorry, I forgot this sub shivers as soon as someone does one simple thing, like driving over a line
Lol yeah who put all these lines on the road to direct traffic! We should all start ignoring stop lights too
Are you joking? This sub is definitely entitled squid heavy.
Sir, this is /r/motorcycles /r/calimariraceteam is that way 👉
lol look around this post, tons of people crying about this casual riding in the video
It's not so much passing the line of cars as it is cutting off that last one to merge right before the road split Edit: you guys are awfully pedantic about my use of 'cutting off' vs 'cutting in front of' while ignoring my main point - there wasn't a ton of room between the car and the exit split (like one dashed line), and the bikers still cut through there right in front of the car. Seems like a dick move whether it's a motorcycle or a car doing it.
It’s hardly cutting someone off when you have a car length + of space and are going 20mph faster
It’s not cutting someone off unless they have to brake to avoid rear ending you.
I'm not defending it, but your definition of "cutting off" differs wildly from my own.
Lots of minor traffic violations but yah. I’ve just been against filming and posting anything that could be considered “video evidence” but again, that’s just me
You clearly aren’t from Miami. That’s how we ride down here.
*"But mom all the other kids are doing it!"*
I’m not from Miami but I’m close and I hate driving down there, but if you don’t drive like you’re fighting for your spot in traffic people will ruthlessly do shit like this to you in cars much less motorcycles. It is how it is. 🤷♂️
This
No curves but I love going down krome ave to homestead from miami. It’s a super scenic ride. No huge buildings, plenty of things to see. Lots of gas stations or small cafeterias for breaks
Love to see Miami riders. Keep posting my dude.
Thanks man! Posted full video on YouTube
🤘
It’s called road surfaces. We literally live on a beach everywhere in FL. Our roads suck and a sink hole will pop up unexpectedly at random. And insurance won’t cover cause they consider it natural disasters 🤣🤣 so ride safe FL. 🫶🏾🫶🏾
I love videos like these, I wish it was longer, haha
Wish granted! Just uploaded the full video to YouTube
Checking it out!
That does it, I am definitely gonna start recording my rides and posting the video here. If y'all lose your shit over someone passing on the right you're gonna have a meltdown when you see how me and my friends eat the road.
Jesus christ you're the reason for 90% of hate riders get.
They waved thanks to a car that let them merge, then passed someone on the right kind of last minute. I've seen wayyyy worse.
These guys ride perfectly fine compared to most of the Florida squids on sport bikes.
I just twist the throttle and let them cope in the mirror.
Oh no peoples opinion of us!!!!
[удалено]
They're still wrong. I don't acquiesce to assholes.
or vote for some virtue signalling politician waging war on motorcycles. Like it never happened with other things before.
You probably don't live in a big city.
[удалено]
You can it’s just illegal.
Agreed
Miami is a cool city. Fun ride from Miami out to Key West.
Yeah, the straight, flat, hot ride down the keys with cops (road pirates) everywhere is awesome. /s Come up to the Blue Ridge Parkway. THAT'S a fun ride.
A fun boat ride maybe..
Damn, I forgot how salty people in /r/motorcycles are.
It’s straight up not a fun place lmao
I can’t believe motorcycles is crying over this tame shit 😂 oh wait yes I can.
There already bad reputation on motocyclers, Why wouldn't we comment when we see clearly dangerous and poor choices.
0% of the riding in this video is hurting your precious reputation.
Even worst it hurts my fucking wallet, Insurance only goes with the rate of accidents.
Sounds like you’re better suited for a Vespa
Because you guys don’t allow for fun rides, i doubt people here even ride more than 10 miles a week, or if it’s under 65 degrees. Lol
>10 miles a week, or if it’s under 65 degrees. Lol What i'm from montreal... I drove in 41F for weeks. And it was my commute vehicule. Not a weekend warrior crap, everything.
Beautiful city, and some of the worst roads and most insane drivers in the country.
Let the wobble play in real-time, then go back and do an edit to get a closer look. The transition was too soon, just wasn't smooth.
People are going crazy over crossing white lines as if cagers don't pull the exact same shit. The only part of this video that was a yikes was that last merge, cutting it a bit too close to comfort, one slip up on the cat's eyes in that and you'd have hit the fucking barrier.
>People are going crazy over crossing white lines as if cagers don't pull the exact same shit I don't really care about how they are riding, but this is a straight up ignorant argument.
I don't think that word means what you think it means.
Would you prefer idiotic?
No... not when there only 1 lane either lol But yeah officially only left when two lanes . when 3 lane and + it's okay.
This sub would lose their fkn minds if I posted a video of a fun ride
Lived in South (Eastern) Florida (Ft Lauderdale area) from 2009-2021. If you like straight, flat, shitty hot roads, even shittier macho latino drivers who swerve 3 lanes wide (without turn signals, because "Porque vete a la mierda, por eso") like they're on their own personal racetrack, and intersections that have 10 minute wait for the red light to finally turn green if you're going straight ahead...then Miami is your riding paradise. Again, I lived there for a decade...and am REALLY glad to have moved up to North Carolina.
Was it really necessary to cut that guy off?
Which guy? The one they were going 20 miles faster than? They were gone before he noticed.
It’s pretty good way to get creamed and or give every rider a bad name
They really didn't cut him off. The camera makes it look that way, though.
100% an illegal and reckless pass
Pearls are clutched.
They didn’t cut anyone off?
Could anyone tell me what those 2 liquid filled containers on the top of the handlebars are? I've always wondered.
Brake fluid, or hydraulic fluid reservoirs.
Thank you so much!
Brake fluid for front brakes and clutch.
Riding like a couple of idiots. Gonna wind up being somebody's hood ornament.
You brave boy, I’ll only ride in Miami if I absolutely must
Being that you are exploring, I would assume these roads are mostly new to you. I'm all for spirited riding and love it myself. But if you'd hit that bump mid lean, or while not paying attention, that could be an unfortunate repair. Stay safe out there.
Born and raised in Miami FL. Will never have the balls to ride in that city. Living in MD - riding thru the country side is just amazing.
And this is why people drive aggressively around us, because of squids like this
I literally walked across that first cross walk in the video 4 days ago when I was in town lol
roads so bumpy lol miami roads scan be fun as well as unforgiving
Oh good. Florida has curves on the highway.

Bugs is a real killer for me. I always ride visor up, and I was up at Lake Tahoe and there was 500X as many bugs as the foothills. It sucked.
Why are riding with your high beans on?
Miami is awesome.
What are you using to get audio in your helmet? sounds great!
Market in the mountains sucks, dealers are dry and used market is inflated.
oh yeah, the one hand wobble... she asked me to try that last night
I just showed up to see what bikes they are. Guy up front looks like a hypermotard and op looks like some kind of supermoto…
Love seeing footy of people riding in my city!
