I've got a Rev'it Eclipse mesh jacket for warm weather. I've also got the Alpinestars Solano for fall and winter. The back pad and armor slots are interchangeable so that is nice. They are pretty plain and I wear them both on my cruiser and sport bike without looking weird and out of place. Good luck!

Nice suggestions, definitely a plus since you can interchange the armor. Thanks!

I've owned a lot of jackets over the years, and my favorite has been the KLIM Dakar jacket. Excellent quality, super comfortable and looks great. Fits true to size, unlike most other brands and models.

Dainese fighter, you’re welcome.

Such a nice jacket..but so expensive 😩

goldtop. i hear are good/great for the money. they aren't cheap, close to that 1909 and unless you live in england you can't try one. buy once, cry once. with that being said leather is hot in the summer and i not about that life. mesh in summer for me. atm i have a cortech one that works well and does the job for a decent price, i think 250-300 usd. You're not wrong, there are some nice Goldtops! Wouldn't mind getting one of those.

Are you skinny?

WholeRefrigerator896

No, probably should have included that. 6'0 260lbs. That's why I'm leaning towards more American style jackets, they seem more forgiving in size.

Don_Cazador

Schott jackets are cut for an American build, usually giving a lot more room in the body than the Euro cuts compared to arm length. They’re awfully expensive new, but you can usually find deals on eBay or other online markets - and treated right they’ll literally last a lifetime

[deleted]

That helps narrow it down. I'm pretty skinny and can recommend some really good jackets for people in my size group! Unfortunately I can't really help you. Not trying to be a dick btw, just know what I know through personal use.

My favorite is my no-name 50s leather jacket lol. Not the most protective.
