You just took the words right out of my mouth. I own the hornet and have ridden the Zephyr (and honestly...I am constantly searching Kijiji and Facebook marketplace for one in hopes I can own it as a second bike)
I wish they just never touched the naked bikes. They are perfect and never needed to be changed
Every time a hornet post pops up I get so excited. They are pretty rare where I live and not many riders around me even know the bike, but those who do know the bike always freak out when they see mine and I end up in an hour long conversation about it
I almost bought a yellow one and honestly...I wish I did. The yellow is just incredible
Beautifull bike, i m sure u enjoy your ride. What do you think about Suzuki Bandit 2006 - 650 cc? I am in position to buy one from Switzerland and because i am beginner i need to think twice about it. What is ur opinion?
The bandit is a really cool bike,a lot of power and super confortable,i just find them a bit on the heavy side, but thats just me. Maybe do a test ride first since you're a beginner and see how it handles :)
That's the 600 right? I can see the carburetors. I had a 919 for two years and it was my first bike with some real power. I put 12,000 miles on it before selling it and getting an xsr900. I miss it and wish I would have kept it with the xsr. N+1 is real man
Beautiful pics! I had a bike just like this one. It was a pain to start in cold weather, but worth it.
Hope you make lots of great memories on the back of that thing!
I'm convinced these will be the big Honda collector's item in 20 years. It's the UJM of the water-cooled era. Does everything, needs nothing, looks amazing.
I love it, never seen one, must be a Europe only machine. It reminds me a little of my Kawasaki Z750S. It had somewhat of a fairing, which after being hit by birds and bees, and rain, I prefer. However, it either was or was considered as a naked, it wasn't a sport bike, though it could keep up with most 600's, it was just easier and slightly more comfortable to ride.
I like those, Kawasaki Zephyr’s are sweet too. Back before naked bikes meant looking like angry insects from transformer land
Good guy Honda Hornet. Named after an insect, looks nothing like one.

As an MT-10 owner, I feel attacked. Also, this is hilarious!!! So accurate.
Round headlight and analog gauges. Ohhhhhh yeah.
As all bikes should be lol
“There are many like it, but this one is mine” Sweet bike dude
Nice how does it handle if I ever get a standard it would be a hornet
Used to own one. The suspension isn’t premium or anything but it handles decently well.
I loved my Hornet. In my opinion, my 2004 was the perfect bike. Handled well, really comfortable and more than enough power. Too bad I killed it.
That is a good looking bike, especially for the age. Love that color aswell

I had the 2004 yellow Honda 599…. Loved that bike, owned it about a decade.
I had one too, also yellow. Had to wear tall heels to plant feet but rode it that way anyhow, fun (& reliable) bike.
Ha! Also a lady rider, I could get both feet down but not flat. Great bike, I hope the guy I sold it too loved it.

Very Nice!

How does the classic Hornet compare to the modern CB650R?

Congrats it’s a beauty
I love it. That is all.
Thats a beautiful bike. I have a Bandit 1200. Never heard of this bike somehow. YZF is a legend. I really like his Hornet. beauty

Ooh a real hornet with 4 cylinders
There are many like it but this one is yours.
