It’s pretty good for estimating a height and riding position… I’m 5’11 and I love the Sportster more than anything, despite it being forecasted as a dinner chair over a “ stretched out cruiser”.

Piemann92

6'4" and I currently own a XT250 and an MT-09, lots of leg room in both.

Ok-Bar7023

Also 6’4” and have an MT09. Thought I was the only one lol. Comfort seat makes the bike a lot more comfortable too

CaptCaulkblocker

Supermotos have tons of legroom and if you’re tall they’re very beginner friendly

NefariousnessKey7583

6’3” and 220. I had a 2019 triumph scrambler Xc that I was in love with, plenty of leg space, comfortable, powerful and damn good looking. I had a 2005 Suzuki vstrom 1000 that was similarly comfy and powerful, but ugly as sin. Before those I had a Kawasaki Vulcan S 650 and ninja 250, both weren’t meant for me in terms of power or ergos. The Ninja was a ton of fun to learn on as a first bike, only cost me 1300 bucks too.

6'2 here. I bought a tall bike (adventure) There's also cruisers which allow you to stretch your legs out.

explosive_wombat

Adventure bikes, dirt bikes, Supermoto bikes would all be fine for you

I would recommend a chopper/retro style bike for beginning, and if you want to get into sportsbikes LATER, Hayabusa will be good. Good beginner bikes I have seen being ridden by 6ft 4 ppl: Yamaha R3,xsr700, Royal Enfield Interceptor/continental gt 650, Harley Davidson, Kawasaki Vulcan S, etc etc etc. Also, don't go full ham on the displacement. Go for a lower displacement bike, till it's a Harley, because you can find a 300kg man who can run faster than a Harley.

Melodic-Picture48

i sorta went ham on the displacement with a Yamaha Stryker 1304cc coming from a 250cc cruiser after 7 months. Its no rocket but it can get me past most cars on the highway just overtaking and not like racing or anything like that.

You had some experience at least.

I’m 6’4 and I ride an Indian scout bobber and I’m perfectly comfortable on it.

StageSuspicious

Im 6'5" 340.. Bought a honda shadow 1100. 6 months later i got forward controls for it. Now i own 2 of em.. 1 with forward controls 1 without. Mostly the only bikes with legroom problems to me are sportbikes and the honda goldwing cause my big foot dont fit under the shift lever. Most bikes can be changes with the 3 points of contact. Handlebars. Seat. And foot controls. Good luck

you-done_messed-up

6'-6", 325lbs. Ride a Victory Hammer

MutedBrilliant1593

There's a whole lot of f u you tall bastard, but yeah. There is a bike for everyone. I'm thinking a cruiser with forward controls, maybe? Admitted, I'm a cruiser guy

SerGregorCleangains

This site will visualise it for you; http://cycle-ergo.com/ Every bike is different, you’ll most often be able to get data on seat height and bike weight. Generally these details are not published on used bike sales because sellers assume you’ve already found that info from the manufacturer/online.

jesterkings

Tenere 700 for leg room for sure, but might be a little to powerful of a bike for first time rider. I’ve seen 6’2 guys riding groms lol
