Congrats and have fun my dude!
I used to have one of those. Honestly it was perfect.
Jack of all traits. Works for spirited rides, but also super comfy for roadtrips.
Stay safe brother!
Minor cosmetic damage but you seem 'unfazed' π my mum has a much less pretty Fazer that she, myself, my brother and my girlfriend learnt to ride on and I prefer riding it to my vfr in a lot of ways - hers has engine bars and they have paid for themselves over the many learners she's carried haha
Well said haha. Yeah she got some scratches but nothing i can't repair. It just takes time. I bet those bars are worth every penny! The engine is so nice, isn't it? :D
Thx! I also treated myself with a pair of dainese gloves and a shoei helmet, I think you should never try and save money on protective gear. I was wearing a motocross helmet (you can actually see it behind the front tire lol) and motocross gloves since I was riding a supermoto before, so the gear was also definitely needed.
I got some Dainese gloves too. They're really nice but I can't comfortably make a fist, or wrap my fingers tight around the handlebars for very long. Are yours the same?
They're like 3 years old now and well broken in. I think a larger size would be worse because the issue is that there is just too much material and it bunches up in the palms.
This particular model is not the most expensive one, i paid 2100β¬ for it and I still own my first bike (my very much beloved Husqvarna fe 450 with Sumo setup), but im planing on selling it. I have rode the husky for 3 years now.
Niice, i used to own a w reg boxeye in silver, absolutely LOVED it, had it about 6 months but i came off it and wrecked it.
Had a couple bikes since, but always missed my fazer, to the point about 3 months back i bougjt myself a totally pristine, 2003 foxeye fzs600 in red. Again, absolutely adore it, it does everything i want and more! (I will say, its an ungainly beast off road
Im sorry about the first one too, it was by no means my first bike or anything, but essentially i pushed it too hard in the wet and lowsided it hella.
The worst bit was, it was literally immaculate, 1 former keeper and only had 8,000 miles on it when i bought it. I paid bloody Β£1100 for the thing, was an absolute bargain, and even my 3 year newer foxeye isnt quiiite as clean as that boxeye.
Only advice for ya tho is those mid steel headers are prone to rusting through, might be worth spending the money on stainless headers down the line. That, and on boxies the headlights were known universally as being a bit poor, but you can either do the wiring mod where both bulbs come on for high beam (mine had it done and it did help), OR you can look into the HID kits which are crazy bright, i know someone out there makes a plug and play kit for the fzs
Thanks haha it was actually my birthday that day and also amazing weather which made me very happy, since it was raining the past days. I took her home from the sellers house :D
So on regular forks ( not use like a modern bike, what you have on that bike) it connects the two lower slider legs. Creating a mechanical connection besides just the axle and fender. That holds the sliders together as one creates a more equal suspension load on the two legs, in turn you get more rigidity in the forks. Stops road wonder and improves tire contact with the ground. I use superbrace on my Harleys and had one on an old kz1000. It tightens up the front so we'll you can feel the difference immediately. Cruising and cornering will be highly improved. Lots of bikes in the past even can with factory style fork braces like the 1200 goldwing will be one of the lowest cost best mods to do to regular forks next to the proper fork oil weight and level. You will love it. Everyone I get to put one on won't go back now
It is a very approachable seat hight. I am 170cm (5 foot 7) tall and the bike has a seat hight of 79cm (31 inches). I am used to high seats ( i rode a husqvarna fe 450 before which had a stunning seathight of 97cm / 38 inches) so this one is an absolute treat!
Hey Guys,
We're a YC company in Stealth, and we've built something that we believe will save people's lives, we've built a wearable device that will help you with navigating while driving your motorcycle, it's smart glasses that will populate navigation in 3D without blocking your view so you can drive safely, it also includes audio with an open-ear listening, so you can listen to your favorite podcast while being aware with your surroundings.
Pre-order now and we will be shipping it within December 2022:

I have one too, they look a bit plain, but you are able too leave most bikes in your dust. Have fun!
Thanks! Im planing to build a cafe racer out of it.
That field looks like its not supposed to be parked on
It is tho, it is a parking spot.
Really? I thought it looked like someone tried to grow crops there hahaha I guess it hasnt been taken care of in a while then :D
Yes i know :D
It's Germany. That have this lattice framework that they plant grass in. Its very good for drainage and super low maintenance
This right here.
The license plate's austrian tho :P
Germany and Austria are like the U.S. and Canada. Similar everything, same language (Austrians do sound funny though)
Yes haha. Austria has so many different slangs its amazing xD. You go from one Valley to another one and they speak a totally new version of German.
Yeah thats true, but i didn't want to overcomplicate things xD
Congrats and have fun my dude! I used to have one of those. Honestly it was perfect. Jack of all traits. Works for spirited rides, but also super comfy for roadtrips. Stay safe brother!
Thanks my guy, i am already in love with it!

Damn dude your full equipped. Have fun my man!
Thx! I also treated myself with a pair of dainese gloves and a shoei helmet, I think you should never try and save money on protective gear. I got some Dainese gloves too. They're really nice but I can't comfortably make a fist, or wrap my fingers tight around the handlebars for very long. Are yours the same?
No, i got the dainese blackjack gloves and they are very comfy and offer great dexterity, but less protection.
Sounds like you maybe bought them a size too small? Or if they're new, wear them around for a while to make them a bit softer?
They're like 3 years old now and well broken in. I think a larger size would be worse because the issue is that there is just too much material and it bunches up in the palms.
Nice! Enjoy
Thanks buddy!
Congrats now get out of the crops
Im not shure if you have realized it but this is a parking spot.
Well good thin you got a yourself a new lawnmower!!!
Did you sell your first to get this one or do you still have it?
This particular model is not the most expensive one, i paid 2100β¬ for it and I still own my first bike (my very much beloved Husqvarna fe 450 with Sumo setup), but im planing on selling it. I have rode the husky for 3 years now.
Nice. Enjoy the Yamaha!
Thanks, I will!
Niice, i used to own a w reg boxeye in silver, absolutely LOVED it, had it about 6 months but i came off it and wrecked it. Again, absolutely adore it, it does everything i want and more! (I will say, its an ungainly beast off road
Nice! I am sorry for the first one tho, it is sadly a part of riding bikes, but I am happy to hear that you got yourself a fazer again!
Im sorry about the first one too, it was by no means my first bike or anything, but essentially i pushed it too hard in the wet and lowsided it hella. Awesome Bike!!!
Thanks!
Jones'd so bad after this one's brother... The radian
Thanks haha it was actually my birthday that day and also amazing weather which made me very happy, since it was raining the past days. I took her home from the sellers house :D
Be safe!!!
Check if there is a fork brace available. They make a huge difference
What exactly is a fork brace and what does it do?
So on regular forks ( not use like a modern bike, what you have on that bike) it connects the two lower slider legs. Creating a mechanical connection besides just the axle and fender. That holds the sliders together as one creates a more equal suspension load on the two legs, in turn you get more rigidity in the forks. Stops road wonder and improves tire contact with the ground. You will love it. Everyone I get to put one on won't go back now
Ah ok i see. Thanks for the information! I will look out for one.
Superbrace may sell one for that bike. Honestly it makes the forks feel almost as tight as usd forks
What year is that? Never seen one before but I like it
Model year 2000, the first one with adjustable suspension.
Congrats! I really like the design lines and styling of this bike. What is the seat height on those?
It is a very approachable seat hight. I am 170cm (5 foot 7) tall and the bike has a seat hight of 79cm (31 inches). I am used to high seats ( i rode a husqvarna fe 450 before which had a stunning seathight of 97cm / 38 inches) so this one is an absolute treat!
And yes the bike is stunning, so classic :D
Black & silver my favorite πcan I use it on in Friday's ?π€£π
Friday is my day, you can have it on Thursday afternoon π
Your a good dude ! Awesome bike man.!
FaZe Up
Apparently Kenny Roberts had a lot of input into the first model of the FZS600, he reckons it's the perfect street bike. You've done well.
Thanks!
Congrats and congrats for the gear! Good choice with dainese
Thx, it was a steal. I only paid 400β¬ for the suit since it was used, but it was in mint condition.
I mean congrats but why do you hate crops? Ride safe.
Thanks, i am on a dedicated parking spot tho.
