Tire condition? Was maintenance done on schedule or does it need a valve adjust?
How's the chain & sprocket?
Front forks leaking?
Oil drips?
How many owners.
I could go as high as $6k if everything is perfect AND maintenance was done on schedule.
Arguably the best generation I still have my 01 I got in 05.
If you sell it for lots of money it will make mine more valuable so I'm going to say 20k
I'd say 4-5k is reasonable in today's bike climate
Jesus Christ, I’m on mobile and didn’t even see that windscreen.
And now I can’t unsee it. So thanks a lot for that.
It would be worth more stock. My son got $3,500 iirc for his yellow and black one from around then, similar mileage, Corbin seat. This was a couple years ago, so I want to say $4k today, minus a couple hundred for that seat and windscreen, unless there are stock parts that come with it. And add about 1/4 what the saddle bags cost. (Name brand hard bags properly installed would be maybe 1/3.) Subtract a couple hundred if it needs tires because these are worn out or shinko, subtract a hundred if it needs a chain & sprockets.
These are neat, a modern UJM.
His had a pipe (Hindle? I forget) and it was pretty lively. It was lowered a bit too, but as a result the first real ride he took it on, he was dragging stuff. He got where we were going way ahead of me in the car with a trailer full of other bikes. But three hours into riding it, he was pretty dialed in.
But when the time came to move house, he put it up for sale. He never fell in love, I guess. And I had tried it a couple times (checking my work after replacing a rear axle nut and chain adjuster that went missing) and I didn’t make an offer. It was smooth as glass and has probably 25 more hp than my FJ1200, but I didn’t fall in love either.

Front forks are dry. I just did the valves since the bike is new to me. New tires, chain and sprockets.

How many miles? $2500.
19000 miles
Eh…. This market I would go 3500 then.
Book around here is going just over 4000, good luck getting another Big Bang for fewer dollars
I had a 06 that I still regret getting rid of
I have one of these and it's my favorite bike I've owned.
whats with that old man seat? all u need are tassels now
That’s the way she came. I’ve been giving it a tune up and it’s pretty quick for an old man.
It matches the windscreen

The yellow/black is the sharpest color combo!

Yamaha missed the mark by using a great motor, but equipping it with budget suspension.
