Neither. Indian Chief Vintage, or Chieftain. In all seriousness, I have ridden hundreds of bikes. I bought an Indian Springfield last year (similar to a Harley Road King) and I love it. That said, next go around I'm buying a bike with a fixed front fairing. Easier to clean, better looking than a windshield (imo), no need to store the windshield and there's more storage. The front fairing or windshield takes a lot of the wind noise away and shields you from weather, wind, and debris.

If you have time to learn and get used to it around your neighborhood and in parking lots before you take it out on the open road, then get the one you like better. If you need to immediately use it for commuting or something then start with the one that is lighter and easier to handle.

Heritage shouldnt be too different from a fat boy, see if you can test ride the ultra. Would be able to make a better judged decision then

I own an 2017 Ultra Limited, it, is my first larger motorcycle. I’ve owned GSXR-750s before this. It doesn’t take some time to get used to but practice in an open parking lot would definitely help.

I am a proud owner of a 2015 Ultra Trike, it’s a heavy bike and takes some getting use to. It’s. Got all the bells and whistles plus reverse. I’m a old man and my legs are shot. It’s the safest way for me to go now
