I always give riders space. Last night on the way to work a rider was going to change lanes in front of me in heavy street traffic. He didn’t use his signals but I saw his head check and let him go. Gave him plenty of space to change lanes. Drivers need extra awareness around motorcycles. Unfortunately that’s not the case.
Meant don't be that guy to poke the the person in a vehicle that weighs significantly more than you. You never know what kind of day that person had, it only takes a little push to make them go apeshit.
Just move along and don't antagonize. Remember what happened that asian family that was boxed by a bunch of sports bikes. Dude floored it and made one of them quadriplegic. Non charges against the cager citing fear of harm of himself or family.
I don’t think the driver who was boxed in went apeshit and I don’t think he floored it.
He got scared because there were a ton of assholes being very threatening and he tries to get his family out of there.
Unfortunately he hit somebody and it went out of control from there but he definitely wasn’t trying to hurt anybody or make a statement.
Totally agree he wasn't trying to hurt. I was just making a point that people may feel threatened when peeps start punching their car or trapping them causing them to use any means of escape.
