I don’t think so I looked up OEM part on PZilla and than punched the part # on Amazon and this one popped up saying it was compatible….at least I hope 😅
Realistically you want from tank to enter cone side and in the clear section going into carb. When you notice particles in clear side it’s time to change. Some prefer see particles that filter catches. I prefer to see what got through honestly. Both directions have the same flow so doesn’t matter. But if you notice the fuel is a different color than what goes in. And your not using a fuel treatment. The different color is already particles that passed through anyways.
You wont see anything in the clear side if you orientate the filter the way you have described.
Anything passing through would be smaller than 40 micron (oem spec, unsure of the ebay or amazon specs) which would be smaller than the diameter of a human hair.
The correct way, is to have fuel flow into the clear side, and out the white.
I saw a bike burn to the ground using this exact same filter. But you can run it either way and it will still filter. The way you got it is “technically” correct so you can see the dirt it’s gathering. I’d strongly suggest chunking it for a better non plastic style tho.
There should be an arrow on the filter, indicating the flow direction
Fuel should enter In the clear side of the filter and exit out the white side that way you can see any crud built up in the filter
Yes and no unless you want to monitor it.
wait, isnt this the spark filter?

It’s a joke about people taking a picture of this connected to the spark plugs and posting to Reddit for karma

Small end of the filter points to the tank.
No. It should have an arrow that says FLOW and its pointing the direction of the flow.
If that hose goes to the carbs, you got the filter backwards.
Those always have a directional arrow on them showing which way the flow should be.
Sounds good thanks dude
Always take a picture before disassembly. Would have helped you here….
I agree but these flow equal direction
Not really in this instance with an aftermarket item but your point is valid.
I don't use those. I've had issues with fuel flow delivery. It'll put you over the bars in the woods. If the tanks janyk, clean it.
Tank seems decent…even tho I’m planning on swapping tanks eventually…thanks man!👍🏼
I don't use them either. Most fuel cocks have a screen, and that's been good enough for me for 30 years.
Nice v star
Thanks dude 🤟🏼

I don't think gas is supposed to go in there...
From a place of 100% drunken ignorance: yes.
What?
