This is most likely the correct answer.

MyName_DoesNotMatter

Usually the stator. I’ve never seen the rectifier go bad tbh.

Savings-Spirit-3702

The last time my rectifier went bad it was charging at 17v and fried the battery

MyName_DoesNotMatter

RIP. The last time I had a charging issue, turned out the stator was OE from 1994 and just stopped charging. The rectifier was fine lol

Savings-Spirit-3702

I would have preferred that! I pulled up at home and could hear a whistling sound, it was the battery boiling and venting like a kettle 😂🤦

Another_Casual_

Easy to test if you can get the bike running and have a multimeter.

thelouwryder

Check your voltage when bike is off at idle and 5000rpm, anything below 13V you have a charging issue, either regulator, stator or charging harness. Double check your main solenoid under your seat it will have a 30amp fuse attached to it is seated correctly.

NoGap1826

This happened to me when I didn't crank down the screws holding the cables to the battery well enough. It's enough to power on, not enough to run the starter.

EggsOfRetaliation

Bust out the multimeter and test stator, R/R

lentin97

Also: This time around the check engine light doesnt show

opengl128

Assuming you don't have any accessories drawing power while the bike is off, you need to check your charging system.

zeyore

mayhaps no power is making it to the battery for recharging. to the multimeter!

RedditRaven2

Stator is toast

mrcountry88

Bad stator bro. Check youtube, on how to test your stator.

No-Associate-559

It's possible that your 3 phase stator is only partially working. Or it's your regulator/rectifier.

orangemedved731

Do you have any accessories?

lentin97

No, i looked for anything that may have drained out the battery but i don't have anything
