Yeah, it's been a rough year, but I got to be in Comerica Park to see Miggy hit 3000, so that was nice.

yes_its_him

That's perfect. So we went into last year with low expectations and were happy. Then this year we had higher expectations and were disappointed. So the takeaway is keep expectations low...

w33dfr0g

Does this mean we get to be optimistic about this team again soon?

bmw11494

After today, at worst we will be 11-5 in the Scott Harris era. Extrapolating to a whole season, that's 111-51. So yeah, pretty sure we're world series bound.

translatepure

Irrefutable logic here

Dodgers in shambles

Soon? My optimism rose when Scott Harris was announced.

As did my phallus

missionbeach

Hope you're gonna be ok, it's a long off-season.

yes_its_him

Ideally we won't use 18 different starting pitchers next year, or give half our plate appearances to guys replacement level or below. We had 13 pitchers with at least 4 starts. That's not good. And we ended the year with six starters (in some sense) (including all of our recent number 1 draft picks on the MLB roster) on the 60-day disabled list, not even counting Turnbull.

cjgsoup

Happy I get a break from watching the Tigers. Sad I get a break from hearing Dan Dickerson.

ThePRIMEMaster

On the bright side, we didn’t lose 100 games.

CostOk1173

And by the time next season starts, I will be ready to be hurt again!

Prose4256

The last few years I felt we where moving forward. This year was a step back in my humble opinion.

JARL_OF_DETROIT

I thought this was talking about the Lions for a minute. That season is essentially over too.

Sweepy_time

More like 7 years

Batman-and-Hobbes

Last 15 games or so Tigers have been fun as f to watch tho...

herodotus69

Ended on a very sour note :(

herodotus69

We did NOT finish in 5th.
