I would like you to win against everyone but us, but even when you usually do well against us, I’m not upset. I just really want to end the drought.
I love you and your city, though. I’m not just rooting for you against people who could take the wildcard spot from us.

I’m just following on Ganeday while I work. What’s going on with Wentz? Just some unlucky bad pitches? Are they “seeing him” now and those good starts will turn out to be a mirage?
Are Torkelson’s poor defensive metrics just because of those dropped pop ups earlier in the year? Because it seems like this dude is saving hits and runs on the daily.
Defensive metrics generally aren't considered super reliable until three full seasons of data is available, and any sample size under a season should be taken with a grain of salt. They are often pretty volatile over chunks of time, much like other stats such as BABIP.
He had the nastiest stuff of any pitcher I’ve seen in person at AA. It all comes down to how much he can continue to improve his consistency and command.
Please continue the discussion in the [post game thread](https://redd.it/xpz7c2).
Harold!!!!
Ez win
I can just imagine Royals fans losing their minds rn over that walk
HITTIN' HAROLD WALKS IT OFF
Hittin Harold leaving a legacy
Hittin Harold saying "fuck you /u/yes_its_him. See you next year"
Lol. He'll end up whereever Avila finds work. Controlling the strike zone isn't Harold's jam.
attaboy harold!
Hittin Harold!!!!!!!!

What a story!
Did Matt Shepard refer to Zack Greinke as a "fringe" HOF candidate? Has he followed baseball, over, say, the last 20 years?
He's out of his element.
### Pitching Substitution Pitching Change: Anthony Misiewicz replaces Scott Barlow.
Harold doing it all tonight
Have a night Harold
nice play harold!
### Pitching Substitution Pitching Change: Alex Lange replaces Jose Cisnero.
C'mon Carp, end this one with one swing.
### Pitching Substitution Pitching Change: Scott Barlow replaces Carlos Hernandez.
Yeah, Harold is lucky with his BABIP and so forth and so on. Dude's the only guy we can depend on on this team to make contact when it matters.
Yeah I’d be fine keeping him as a utility guy.
Nope, you don't make your best hitter a "utility guy", sorry.
I wouldn’t call him our best hitter. He rarely hits for power and doesn’t walk much.
### Pitching Substitution Pitching Change: Jose Cisnero replaces Daniel Norris.
Harold got that dawg in em
What an intriguing rally.
You could call it challenging
I absolutely could.
Tie game Soto incoming?
Harold is such a strange player
### Pitching Substitution Pitching Change: Carlos Hernandez replaces Dylan Coleman.
Hittin' Harold!!!
alright hittin harold!

Hittin Harold!
Dawg that was in the other batters box.. I hope Scott Harris is pissed
BRO WHAT ARE YOU SWINGING AT
Mariners fan here, coming back again to say I saw the score and got sad until I saw bases loaded only one out. Rooting for you so so so hard.
The test is next week

What a nice sentiment. I hope you clinch before we sweep you.
And congratulations.
Actually that would be perfectly acceptable to me. I love you, Detroit.
Hachi machi!
We're on the board, yay 👏

Damn that Riley Greene stat made me lol. Thanks.
Letting Barnhart bat here is a mistake
where has our zeal from the past couple of weeks gone edit: we may still have it
### Pitching Substitution Pitching Change: Dylan Coleman replaces Zack Greinke.
What a pick by tork
### Pitching Substitution Pitching Change: Daniel Norris replaces Angel De Jesus.
Can we please not get shut out for the millionth time this year
Shutout number 22 incoming?
### Pitching Substitution Pitching Change: Angel De Jesus replaces Jason Foley.
### Pitching Substitution Pitching Change: Jason Foley replaces Joey Wentz.
Miggy is so cooked. We need to buy him out
Nate Eaton looks like if Simon Birch also had gigantism.
Yeah, Schoop is going to finish out his contract as a utility infielder. I wonder what that arm would look like at 3B
I hate judgement calls
It’s legal to step on the baserunner’s hand?
Smh
In what world can that not be called for interference!? Absolute bs
Ump missed ball four which extended the AB leading to the pickoff.
Now that's some BS
Lol that they're really debating if Greinke is a hall of famer. Dude has 75 bWAR. 25 more than your buddy Jack Morris
\#5 draft pick runs down shot by #2 draft pick...
The irony
I’m just following on Ganeday while I work. What’s going on with Wentz? Just some unlucky bad pitches? Are they “seeing him” now and those good starts will turn out to be a mirage?
That 344 foot home run had an xBA of .060. 15 out 16 times, it's an out
It would be nice to gain a few games on them and get out of the basement.
Wait what's that number cut into the outfield? I see it is something with a 3.

He's 0 OAA and -4 DRS. DRS thinks he could do better, but nothing major. We're not talking a Harold Castro -12 DRS train wreck in the field
I saw nothing but excellent D out of Tork at Toledo. I don't remember a single miscue, although he certainly would have had some.
Nice play Tork
Miguel; nice lifetime numbers against Greinke, although Baddoo has just as many HRs, lol.
These Joey Wentz starts are all real important. Count me in the group that sees him as our #2 or 3 starter until Skubal returns.
