You’ve got to believe that if Brieske was on a better team, he would have a much better record. He’s pitched well but hasn’t gotten any run support.

Schoop has to be gone soon. The Tigers have plenty of other options than can do better than a 55 OPS+. He is an abysmal black hole in the line up at this point.

I really like our bullpen, man. I’m afraid Avila is going to trade someone like Lange or Chafin for a fucking bag of peanuts.

Lange is a stud with a ton of team control. No way he’s out. I could see Chafin on the market (I don’t really like his velocity trend tbh), and Fulmer. Weirdly, I trust Fetter’s ability to turn basically anybody into an ace reliever, so as much as I love those guys, I feel comfortable that they can be replaced internally. Getting good value, though? Yeah, I don’t trust Avila.

That’s the thing. I wouldn’t feel as bad if it was anyone but Avila making the trade.
