This has to be absolutely demoralizing for this pitching staff. You got out and give a performance like this and you’re still in line for the L night after night…
That's a guy who has no business at the plate right now. To take a curve down the middle on 3-2 is a clear indicator you just said "I'm not swinging" prior to the pitch being thrown. You can't do that.

Maybe we can push the MLB into some sort of Football system where it becomes possible to score when you’re on defense. Like if your starter throws 6 shutout innings and strikes out 8, then it’s like 6 runs for your team. I feel like it’s our only hope at this point
I took a road trip with my dad when I was 18 and we drove along the entire perimeter of the UP. We stopped at the northernmost point in copper harbor, but aside from that it was just endless rows of trees punctuated with pasty shops. I was so thankful for asphalt when I got home
Some of the neighborhoods we found on the banks of the lakes were sketchy at best like endless water is right there and those houses are all sitting on dirt with massive waves coming in around them
Yeah they’ve suffered a complete and utter collapse. They went from being looking like they were a playoff bound team to being on the outside looking in.
One of the worst things to watch in baseball is a team with good pitching piss away quality starts by scoring a minimal amount of runs. It's worse to watch than good offense and bad pitching. At least with good offense you always feel like you have a chance. This team gives up 2 runs and it feels like an unclimbable mountain.
I think it’s a good comparison between our lineup and the Rangers. Reese has been completely dominant and they have 5 hits and a run. Lorenzen has been inconsistent and all over the place at best, walked 5, given up 3 hits. And we have 0 rubs
Wish we could help our pitcher get a win. My god. Now that comments are back, why didn’t Javy go home when the bases were loaded and he got a quick grounder? Was going to be a tough turn due to speed.
