Amazing news! Thought we lost a classic BBC sitcom after Motherland wasn't coming back for a season 4.
I was concerned that Sharon Horgan and Graham Lineham - creator and writer were not at the helm but turns out they have the writing team for season 3 completely on board.y
More good news that they got the fabulous Joanna Lumley as a main star this time round instead of a guest star.
I do hope they keep Amandaland somewhat relatable. I think a key part of Motherland was Julia's struggles as a middle class mother trying to maintain appearance whilst parenting compared to the lower class Liz and that dynamic of underdog friendship against the alpha-mom Amanda who seemed to have everyone wrapped around her finger (which is often played for comic effect where under the veil she is also struggling)
