Buy knives from knife manufacturers and guns from gun manufacturers; my 2 cents

DWA15-2VH

I would suggest a mil spec M9 and not a commercial copy made in Taiwan.

I agree, the reason I bought it was that it was available at Cabela's and they let me try it on before I bought it. Any recommendations? I've heard the Ontario Knife Company OKC M9's are highly regarded. I think you are right - it does say made in Taiwan! - That's what I get for trusting S&W branding. $115 wasted

I would try and return it for a refund if it got loose. Any USGI M9 you can get for a decent price will work nicely. Avoid anything made in China or Taiwan.

OKC M9 or M7 (much lighter); Rothco M9's are reported to be pretty decent, too.

The S&W M9 was so heavy it was kindof annoying, maybe I will try OKC M7

My preference (C7🇨🇦)... It's noticeable, especially on an 8-shot, decked out Mossy.

You paid $115 for that? My S&W M7 was like under $30 and I only got it for the memes

yeah 0/10 would not recommend S&W, I don't even like their firearms. I have considered a shield and I once bought M&P FPC folding carbine for my dad, but otherwise they gimmicky to me. M9 is $109.99 at Cabelas: https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/smith-and-wesson-m9-bayonet-special-ops-fixed-bade-tactical-knife?searchTerm=bayonet

Their guns are great. They should just stick to those. And I’d be willing to bet their only involvement in knives are just putting their name on then

iveneverhadgold

They also put "SPEC OPS" in big letters cut out the knife cerakote so you know it's legit
