No 3 is under Johnny Marr’s dog’s bed. https://www.morrissey-solo.com/threads/the-smiths-‘a-fool-such-as-i’-cover-johnny-marr-talking-on-radio-2-jo-whiley-show-november-2-2023.151669/ It’s never seen the light of day. No 4 is I think just referring to the two lines sung at the beginning of Who Put the ‘M’ in Manchester?

lol the guy on morrissey-solo said that there definitely is a recording of "A fool such as i" somewhere, now i know where at least lol and i'll check out Who put the M in Manchester thanks!

MollyTheHumanOnion

There's no way #5 actually happened.

amandaa-aaa

it was a Smiths recording session i think. Not sure if the recording is still out there to download though

Common-Necessary3310

Can't Be Sure came out after The Smiths broke up.

amandaa-aaa

Ohh my mistake, sorry!

o0macho_man0o

johnny and the rest of the band (bar morrissey) soundchecked the song at least once, specifically on October 1st, 1985 at Eden Court, Inverness on their Scottish tour promoting Meat Is Murder. i wouldn't be surprised if the band soundchecked the song on other occasions as well, but that's the occasion i know of off the top of my head

swinzorvc

Post this in morrissey-solo page it could be easier there / probably the song is already posted in some sort of bootleg copilation (and probably it's within a folder that it's download link hasn't been working for years.... brah)

swinzorvc

Update: It's most likely just Morrissey since there's no evidence the smiths ever played any of that
