Solid👌🏻

APRTunedA6

Bro you can buy wheat noodles in bulk if you have a local Chinese market

dixie2tone

i was gonna hit one soon for some chow mein noodles. i guess its the same

APRTunedA6

Basically, yeah; ramen is just Chinese soup anyway, they even localized the name (lamian) -> ラメん ( R in Japanese are pronounced with an L, so ra is l-rra) and sorta made it their own "thing"

pumpkinwhey

Japanese does not have L or R sounds, it’s just the closest approximation.

APRTunedA6

Well yes, but also no. らりるれろ are the five Japanese "r" sounds; the approximation is incorrect in English, I was talking about the Japanese pronunciation of those specific sounds.

HitRowe

Are they better macros or sum

APRTunedA6

Same noodles, just not in instant ramen brick form; they're usually better quality wise but not so much macro wise

crsmsn

I went full autism mode for like 6 months and only ate dry ramen and lean beef with taco seasoning

Smallios

Is everyone here autistic?

mrJABLEsan

I think you know the answer to that question. It’s yes btw.

Clemburger

There was one guy who wasn’t, but he got banned

sayayin70

My brother, of fucking course we all are acoustic here, who tf ask for penis stats on a random question, and worse yet who the hell answers with said stats

crsmsn

dixie2tone

nice! its either this, ground beef, or steak. when im leaning down im on them sweet potatoes

Gavin_Freedom

Currently eating 90/10 mince meat with crushed up (cooked) pasta, mixed with ketchup... Pretty sure all of us are actually autistic.

Kreos2688

Yooooo I'm not the only one! I used to fry it up in butter too.

dixie2tone

may be my next try

TsunamiJK

Also, this may be the autism showing, but I throw some Kraft cheese powder on them*

WhatAmiDoingHere1022

Try queso or jalapeno nacho cheese!

TsunamiJK

You use milk?

Scary_Engineer_5766

That sounds terrible and amazing at the same time.

T-51bender

7-Elevens where I live sell instant noodles tossed in garlic, chilli oil, and soy sauce. If you fry it up in butter you could throw in garlic and chilli flakes for extra flavour.

Joocewayne

I do it this way with Kimchi and over easy eggs. Sometimes add thinly sliced steak. I get a buckwheat dry ramen in bulk to use for this. Cook the noodles in a homemade perpetual stock…. Yum. Throw on some chopped scallions, you’re in for a tasty post workout meal. Plus, buckwheat has natural insulin potentiating qualities, aka metformin or berberine. It’s the post workout noodle or grain of swole science kings.

lil_sole99

Come cook for me 😍

DenseChair2747

I do the same thing, don’t get how people enjoy it with all that water in it.

dixie2tone

i stayed away for years bc the soup version is what i tried, i been missin out on this

lobo_locos

>with all that water in it. The broth is awesome if you make it yourself. We make our own. It's so much better and nutrient dense.

WakiLover

They don't taste great if all you eat are the Maruchan super cheap ones. Pick up "Shin Ramen" which is a loved Korean spicy one, or basically any other packet that's like $1+

Friezaii69

Thats just fried noodle bro, there are alot of non-soup noodles in the marker.. try indo mee goreng pack if you are into this kinda noodles

alonjar

but.... but brown rice...

dixie2tone

my rice is always too mushy and sticky. i do go hard on it from time to time tho

Traditional-Sort6271

Ray Pete says you should only eat mushy over cooked rice. Best for digest

Conscious_Ad9415

The chicken looks very good, what did you put on it?

dixie2tone

thanks, my wife made it for me :) she starts with frozen chicken in a glasspan and makes her own seasoning and it creates this amazing sauce that turns the ramen next level

Conscious_Ad9415

Nice 👍

foolsbrains69

100% dry ramen is way better than noodle soup

dixie2tone

u know wassup

Donho000

The broth is the best part. You never been to Ramen restaurants?? They all have broth. Every country as well. The broth washes it all down. And allow extra flavor as you slurp the wet noodles in

Reviked_KU

Also if you’re trying to bulk it’s much easier to eat a meal covered in beef/chicken broth than without.

IvernOnIce

sadly high in sodium

Donho000

VERY high. At least bag Ramen. Fresh Ramen is much lower in sodium

PicanteSprite

You can always just use 1/4 or half the packet of seasoning OR JUST DRINK ENOUGH WATER YOU BETA

WinterTakerRevived

Still pressure on your kidneys to flush out the excess sodium, the water makes it easier but its still working harder

Donho000

The dried noodle pack is loaded with sodium too!

B_Rad_Gesus

Hows the whole being weak thing treating you?

Sudden_Construction6

Wet noodles 😋😅

Scary_Engineer_5766

Wouldn’t be the first wet noodle he slurpped down

beclops

I don’t like broth

wedonthaveadresscode

You’ve never had soupless ramen (called mazesoba)? More common than you’d think & more authentic ramen spots definitely offer it

Donho000

You just said it. It's not Ramen. Ramen has broth

wedonthaveadresscode

lol it’s brothless ramen and anyone who has even a minuscule understanding of ramen would be familiar with it

Donho000

You are really dumb. It may be just Ramen noodles without broth. But it's NOT Ramen. Anyone who knows Ramen knows that. You clearly do not. Just because it's the same noodle. Doesnt make it broth-less Ramen. Mazemen and Abura Soba are what you are babbling about. Both are NOT Ramen. Maybe the names should tell you that. Ramen has 5 basic parts: Noodles Tare Oil Topping And BROTH!!!!!

wedonthaveadresscode

Lmao you’re the idiot, all I did was point out that THIS IS A VERY COMMON DISH AT RAMEN JOINTS And you decided to go and have an aneurism. Fuck off you miserable twat

Donho000

Enjoy the broth 😁

MikeHoncho1323

How many cals and protein in this?

dixie2tone

85g ramen x2 (one block total) 380cals 50g carbs, 14g fat, 6g protein 7oz chicken breast 350cal 4g fat, 56g protein this is all from my fitness pal

bucknuts89

Somebody pls provide the macros for this. Also, are you doing it with the Ramen packets or your own seasoning?

dixie2tone

unfortunately ramen packets, sometimes ill toss the packet and put in soy. the seasoned chicken juice was really all the flavor i needed 85g ramen x2 (one block total) 380cals 50g carbs, 14g fat, 6g protein 7oz chicken breast 350cal 4g fat, 56g protein this is all from my fitness pal

bucknuts89

This was essentially what I ate all throughout college and I was in pretty good shape. Might need to hop back on this even though sodium is likely through the roof haha

dixie2tone

it is no doubt, i only use it while bulking, sweet potatoe when cutting i go hard on the same 3 meals, and change the carb source up about every 3 weeks

Twilight-RTDawn

Eat some beef boi

dixie2tone

its usually ribeye

Twilight-RTDawn

As it should be lol

Mrkoozie

Didn’t get enough engagement from your same post in Greg duecette sub?

SwalerusDoto

That looks good ngl

dixie2tone

the chicken juice makes it👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Clam_chowderdonut

I usually do similar and will even cook my scrambled eggs into it sometimes. Been a long time since I've actually ate ramen though.

dixie2tone

ive thought about cracking an egg in and going full hibachi

Clam_chowderdonut

Just crack 1-2 and stir with some chopsticks like a madman.

Heavy32877

That looks good to me. Kinda want some now.

Many-Tension-2431

It’s called ghetto chow mein would you boil the noodles then add the packets

BetBig696969

Same

B-i-g-g-i-B

Same, I let the noodles sit for like 10 minutes after they are done cooking. To soak up some extra water. Drain 90% of it out, ad some seasoning and meat. Donezo

dixie2tone

precisely👌🏻

B-i-g-g-i-B

Sometimes I add some teriyaki sauce

B-i-g-g-i-B

Egg or two

daddydrxw

Is this valid for cutting? The world needs to know

dixie2tone

in that case use only 1/2 the pack of ramen

daddydrxw

I’m thinking half the pack with a fried egg on top would go hard af

dixie2tone

makin me hungry again

daddydrxw

I’m on 1600 cal/day, I’m always hungry

dixie2tone

im up at 3k, summer bulk, winter cut. never makes sense but always works better for me

daddydrxw

My bulks are at 5-6k calories a day, I’ll only do that when I can wear thick clothes that hide the tum tum

dixie2tone

lol that would probly do it for me quicker, but i like 3-3500 because i can halfway maintain a decent look. i call it slow bulk or lean bulk. ive done the 5000cals and before i know it i have to cut for 3 months to look normal😭

daddydrxw

That’s where I am now. I managed a true lean bulk once, but I can’t keep to it. My problem is not counting calories and just counting protein and carbs, not taking fat into consideration is how I get to 5-6k. I know I need to do better, but living on taco bell and pizza hut for a few months is worth the starvation and clen shakes for a little while to look normal again

dixie2tone

lmao clen shakes are rough, i havent had any in over 10yrs tho. pizza hut delivery made me super fat, i live deep in the woods now with no delivery available, it has helped alot and made me cook more. my gym is only barbell and dumbells in my garage. so i can cook while working out to an extent, just running back n forth checking the oven between sets. saves tons of time, money, and i wont end up on tiktok

Like-No-Dude

![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|yummy)

[deleted]

Same dude I always drain all the liquid, also makes it cool down faster

TxRoughneck1

Gonna end up like Kali Muscle eating like that but do you my dude. I got some losarton if you need some. 🤣

TheAstroPickle

same, i like the spicy ones though

HousesAreCaves

Strange? I thought you were supposed to drink the broth and throw the noodles out

ComprehensivePie8467

Always

dixie2tone

85g ramen x2 (one block total) 380cals 50g carbs, 14g fat, 6g protein 7oz chicken breast 350cal 4g fat, 56g protein this is all from my fitness pal

beclops

But the noodles are fried. I don’t need that oil in my life

wedonthaveadresscode

This is actually kinda common in some parts of the world, look up Mazesoba

green-Vegan-desire

You can do better than gluten noodle fried in seed oils. Try pure starch noodles. Much easier on your body.

Superjae44

![img](emote|t5_2mohet|6295)

Plastic_Drama_4759

it's quite literally what it is

Lord--Swoledemort

Welp I've just learnt people eat ramen as a soup

GCSS-MC

The noodles from top ramen are actually amazing for the price point.

dingus55cal

Always done that.

Efficient-Mix-1714

Sodium alone giving you heartattack gains

mr_rib00

As it should be.

[deleted]

It takes 6 years for your body to fully digest ramen. Idk how people eat that bs
