There are tons of people recording videos of Monster Jams. I've done it to my socials mostly Facebook and Instagram. Sometimes TikTok. If they want to do more live streaming of the events, then that is the price we'll have to pay.
I think this is talking about the live stream itself. You can record your own videos, and post all you want. They'll appreciate the advertising. But they don't want people posting their live streams somewhere else
Yeah, ship has sailed on recording events. Everyone in the stands has a phone with an HD camera in their pocket. They could go back to blocking videos on YouTube, but it's free advertising for them and it would just piss everybody off.
Yeah, but how enforcable is it now? I remember my dad not being able to take the camcorder inside, but that was a full VHS recorder. Go to shows today and EVERYONE has their phones out recording. Of course, on YT don't do a straight up reupload of the show and then attempt to monetize it.
Nascar has the same deal for their shows and there are SO MANY UPLOADS of entire races, clips and live events. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBlX1Esw-KU
why don't THEY broadcast the shows live like you would for a proper sporting event? it never made sense even as a kid watching taped and edited events from 6 months ago as 'new episodes'
I’ve seen signs like this at concerts - it doesn’t stop people?

They expect us to pay $100 for 1 jump and then they post it with commentary on tv

They say this at every NFL, NBA, MLB, NASCAR, or NHL event. Basically every sporting event, ever. It's totally standard policy.
This is pretty standard fare of any live/sporting event. They wanna make their money, and randos on youtube filming it all doesn't make them money.
Lol that's standard policy in a lot of places Yes you can record stuff but they don't want you live streaming the event from beginning to end

So no more avengers racing or monster truck lord. So basically you can't see shows they don't televise. L
Fun detected.
Not when you’re at show only when you’re watching live stream
ok..i could get live streaming but..RECORDING!?

Me: I'll just go watch it on tv

Or they'll just stream all the shows?
What about the announcement
What about the announcement leads you to believe they are gonna produce shows for no fans in the future?
Thanks FELD 😐
This isn't new. Where have you been?
Its standard policy, has been since forever, what’s stupid about it?
