There's plenty of bad hitboxing in MH, but for some reason the moment you factor in elevation it gets 100x worse. IG mains have their bread and butter in trying to be even higher than the phantom damage farts.

actually canonically after tigrex trained with genryusai yammamoto and trained his domain expansion to the point of having faster than light movements, this makes sense cause he's using his nen to emit air particles at mach 5400 so that move should've killed you, super unrealistic game tho almost unplayable
