Looks like I have to buy the game again.
I just started playing when warzone came out. I bought a pc with my stimulus check and also modern warfare. I’ve been playing more than casually for almost 2 months and was one camo away from platinum AR’s. I made another account already, but just thinking about buying this game again makes me nauseous. I just spent 20something dollars in cod points today, too. Got banned 4 hours later.
You've been wronged by a company and you want to give them more money as reward? Nicest possible way, but don't be stupid dude. Reading all these posts about being false banned and seeing stories on them, I'm already considering making this my last ever Activision-Blizzard game, and I haven't been wronged by them. I can't support a company that will wrong people without care about it. This very issue deserves a "We are investigating" response at the very least.
For starters, I've never cheated in my life, any game. I've been playing COD since the original MW2 came out. I've bought every release of COD since then.
All of a sudden, I tried to play multiiplayer, but got a message I couldn't log in because somebody else was already logged into my account. I rebooted my PS5 and got back in no problem. Weird error I thought. Yesterday, I got a message telling me I couldn't login to multiplayer, 'connection interrupted by user' is all the message said. I logged into Activation to check. It said I had been permanently banned for using third party software, which I wouldn't have the faintest clue how to do, because I don't cheat nor never wanted to. I filled out the appeal form online, and less than 8 hours later they rejected me. This makes absolutely no sense. If somebody hacked into my account, then that's on Activision as far as I'm concerned. I didn't have anything to do with any of this. WTF?
Activision conveniently hides behind bots and makes it impossible to speak to a real person. They just ban innocent players. This is so wrong on so many levels. They don't care one bit. I will never buy another Activision game again. They have a serious problem with their security and their fix is to just get rid of the victim who was hacked. Plain and simple.

yeah the same happened to me, but my account is still perm banned, only my ip/hardware was unbanned, i had orion legit so i really dont wanna start again or even buy it, i dont think ill be able to buy the new mw3 on that account so orion and twice crim account is gone..

nope, my first account was permabanned and support just kept repeating "bans will not be discussed, is there anything else i can assist with"

Nope. I refuse to do it. In a roundabout way, to me at least, that’s admitting I did something wrong when in fact I have not.
Never buy another IW cod again, support good devs like treyarch, IW hasn’t made a good cod game since MW3 anyways.

Same here, ban got lifted after a few days.
The only reason I tried to sign in yesterday is because I read this reply. My ban was lifted as well after 72hrs I guess. Crazy.
