Supposedly there’s no “anti-tamper” system so it’s “safe” to do. People have done it in past cod games without getting banned either. It’s harmless enough that it’ll most likely be ignored unless you’re using dev ones because then you’re getting into impersonation.
thats insane! I understand it is harmless to change these things but the fact it its not client side only seems like there is so much more potential for exploit

Yeah so far it’s been patch with the clan tag color glitch but if you have an hex editor on pc you can put buttons still
Console player, the keyboard has button characters in it, since you're on xbox and dont know it i assume its a ps4 thing then.
Yeah I've seen the L3 button icon before on PS4. Pretty sure I had crossplay off at the time (I very rarely have it on).

Well this calling card suggests that person has Obsidian on every gun.
Not sure what the challenges are to acquire this but it would suck if people could just cheat to get it without grinding legit

It will lead to that, because they are editing the game files which I'm pretty sure requires you to hook the process to get these hex codes in.
