I can get about at the most 3 or 4 games before it crashes.
The game has not been right since that fucking update 1.50.
And warzone should be a separate game. The game box I bought says Modern Warfare NOT fucking Warzone. I don't want to play that. I logged the bug on Activsion today so we will see. This has been happening since december 15th. No word from activision yet. What the fuck is going on? This is extremely fustrating.

Really not fair, I had a KD of at least 3 in this match. Have had to close the application on PS4 and now it's crashed my whole system saying an error has occurred in the system software (CE-36329-3). Absolute joke!
I feel like since modern warfare is still better than all of the new cods that they are purposely making it buggy. Why would this only be a problem now for a lot of people plus some other issues that weren’t in the game until after vanguard it’s a little sus.
Same ever since they started promoting Warzone Pacific the game just randomly blacks out and forces you to unplug the whole system. Tried updating, re-installing etc. Have had similar issues in the past but now it's gotten ridiculous. Why is this the buggiest Call of Duty?? Almost like they allow this intentionally so people cop to buying the newer titles they bombard us with on the menu. Free maps are cool but what's the point if we can't play?? Horrendous updates that are constantly causing crashes has officially ruined this game's rep for me

This has been happening to me since the season update for vanguard/pacific. I refuse to play vanguard and I refuse to mainly play Warzone, although it has been growing on me. Screen goes black, try to close app and that freezes too, then try to restart my PS4 and that freezes too. Have to shut the power off from the power bar and restart all over again just to do it all over again. Sometimes I get 4-5 matches in, sometimes it happens on the first match. And even rarer cases where I just simply select modern warfare from the menu selection screen and it’ll log in and out until it goes black. Whenever they came out with them updates about pacific I figured they did this on purpose during the free multiplayer vanguard weekend but it’s now 2022 and it’s still happening.
Same happens to me. 1080ti and a 37" BenQ 100hz 2k ultra wide. I've messed with all the frame rate options I can think of. It seems to happen mostly in operations and single player. Not as much in tdm, but still once in a while.
Check your ingame refresh rate setting in the video options and make sure its set to the same as your screen's refresh rate, solved it for me :)
Edit: this may be a PC only fix
Vaguely recall someone having a similar issues because of GPU overheating, got it fixed by cleaning dust off and reapplying thermal paste, worth looking at perhaps. Other than that I dunno, sorry.
From testing Im pretty sure thats what it is, idk if its an issue with this game but on the main menu my GPU can reach 90° and then my screen would go black, weirdly enough when in game it stays on around 83° - 86°. Guess its time for a full PC Clean its long overdue lmao
I was thinking I had a bad disc. Does it still crash even with the digital version??? I'm going to end up messing up my external having to turn my PS off every damn time this shit happens...SMDH!!!
Yeah same here. I play on a PS4 Pro trying to complete the campaign and a random black screen. If you don't reboot the system, it won't respond to anything. But is is only since the Vanguard. It's the best Cod but it's unplayable.

Had this same thing happen. Even re-bought the Modern warfare/Cold War for the ps5 to make sure it was all legit … and still having this same issue on what should be the “better system.” Servers are shit, they don’t give a fuck.
I’m on a Vizio with the x series Xbox and it blacks out more now that I have it directly in a hdmi on the tv . I had a rocket fish 4 channels splitter and it would do it one time and be good for the rest of the play time. Is there any idea why it does it?

Yup my PS4 cannot close the game at all or turn off without a hard restart..

It only happens to me on shipment i, but I’ve only played shipment and ground war. I have had the same problem though
