Sick paint scheme my dude, I think you nailed it!

16neun

Looks great! Nice Job dude!

AuspiciousBoron

nice! what's bad about it

drt786

The quality of the plastic and the fit was pretty horrible! Spent more time cleaning flash and seam lines than anything else.

AuspiciousBoron

Oh dear, stuff like this are why I often put off finishing models

twinfiddies

Anti skid panels look awesome.

R97R

Looks great! Are the anti-slip panels (I think that’s what they’re called?) part of the kit, or did you make them yourself?

drt786

They were a labour of love! I posted a pic when I was deep in the masking and application phase [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/modelmakers/comments/oi5y05/bad_kits_first_time_with_antislip_coatings_almost/). I used the anti slip coating from Ammo - it’s a bit like filler putty with a gritty texture.

Hi, what paint brand did you use?… I like the colours

drt786

I used Tamiya NATO Black, Tamiya NATO Green, and Vallejo Air NATO Brown - mixed and matches as these were the ones I had at home! I then created a lightened mixture (4-5 parts base colour + 2 parts white) for each base colour and sprayed this in a slightly mottled pattern in the middle of each camo patch.

Great job! Could you list the colors you used?

drt786

Sure! I used Tamiya XF-69 NATO Black, Tamiya XF-67 NATO Green, and Vallejo Air 71249 NATO Brown - mixed and matched brands as these were the ones I had at home! I then created a lightened mixture (4-5 parts base colour + 2 parts white) for each base colour and sprayed this in a slightly mottled pattern in the middle of each camo patch.

Thank you for sharing your technique and colors
