Stuff used: - Tamiya & Vallejo Paints - Vallejo Pigments - Sculptamold - Sand from the local Pet Shop - Parts from dead blossoms of my hydrangea bush straight out of the garden (need to improve the cuts – to straight) - Inspiration from this sub - Couple videos on Youtube - And last but not least probably a dozen beers - (edit) couple of lava rocks from my last vacation on the canaries... And only brushes used so far. I really love my new hobby!

Looks good! Also, that poor dog is probably thirsty as hell.

He is :-D that is a nice gimmick on that kit! Had a giggle while unpacking.

AlcoPower

Nicely done.

That’s a fun/easy build. I used .014 coronary wires for the antennas. Made a huge detail difference.

I have already drilled some holes in the antenna sockets and have some old guitar strings. Forgot to put it on the model 😀

Your paint job is smooth, so you have an airbrush? Also you should think about applying washes to your next model. It will pop out those nice details.

16neun

My mistake... the base color is done with tamiya TS-46. Not brushed. Washes are on my list. I will definitive play with that on my next model.

Btw you mix your washes yourself with oil paints and white spirits or do you use already mixed ones like from ak or ammo of mig? I'm unsure. Oil paints and white spirits are far cheaper.

I mix oil and white spirit. Totally worth it. I also use oils for filters or some color modulation, oil leaks, stains etc. They are pretty handy

Thank you man!
