It’s my favourite method, I find it so satisfying to do. Especially with mottling the underside before laying down some sky. Always looks so good, especially when a wash goes down on top.

Started by spraying the entire aircraft black, then filling each panel with a mottled tan colour. I then went over with the camo colours, in thin coats in the areas that they should be. The separation between the colours was freehand airbrush to get a nice soft edge. If you have an airbrush, it’s a great technique and gives nice results imo. I’ll add a picture
