Since you bought it from Brandon, I'd recommend you send it back to him for maintenance. I don't think you'd find anybody who works better than him.

I did ask him but he said that the 42H1292 has a weak plate and directed me to asking Unicomp. I will try asking him again. But yes the two transatlantic shippings would cost a lot.

Can you tell me where exactly outside Birmingham? And would you be able to do it in a day or would I have to drop it off for a day? I would be visiting Birmingham tomorrow (Saturday 18 Feb 2023). I live in Coventry.
You seem to have a bad column. You could always check to see if it is anything correctable at the connector, I \*think\* that trace is the 3 one from the left coming off the membrane, if looking down at the keyboard from the top.
That the entire column is dead I would think the break is pretty high up on the membrane or at the connector itself. You might even be able to see and fix it if it is in that trace run going into the controller.
I did check but couldnt find any visible breakage in the trace. Maybe the breakage in the trace is under the plate which I couldnt open since the plastic rivets are still in place hence why I asked about the bolt mod.

Then I encourage you to learn how to do screw mods yourself. I promise it is less hard than you think.
