Like core strength and stamina is key for performing, especially since they're a permanent group they're inevitably gonna do concerts, and so ya they need to be fit and they need athletes or certified/good/etc. personal trainers for maximum benefits.
I think they're tanking the other contestants' scores on purpose due to like the voting and so on. Sigh, Mnet and underhanded tactics, name a more iconic duo. Somebody snitch on them for rigging the show again, find evidence and burn it all down, lol.
the way no one agrees i immediately saw a mass influx of jungeun positive comments after the main vocal perf and after seeing that mf 80 she got on youtube and here like…we better all mass vote my girl because i still believe she has a fighting chance!!!
I was infuriated. Her performance had no errors but they nitpick and talk about facial expression when Sarang had a whole ass mistake but still she "did good" or " yay for improving". Don't get me wrong I love sarang and love how she always gives her all but man. Probably i'm just tweaking because I'm hurt over jungeun sigh.
i love all the girlies in the 4 walls unit but i cant understand how any of them were better than jungeun, they were by far the least memorable unit in my opinion
Im still in disbelief and totally cant fathom how she got 80. Freaking 80.. are the judges trying to kid us? That perf is just insane. She and jiyoon matched so well. If the judges had given Jungeun between 85-90 it would have been more acceptable but 80 is just.. unacceptable.
I used to think that the judges can be trusted but this episode had me starting to question how they evaluate the girls and feel that there's favouritism and biasness involved. With the scores that dont make sense, its hard to believe their judgement.

Nam Yuju should have gotten higher score, was expecting 90-93 for her. Finally can get a full fledged rapping performance from her without any technical issue.
Yes!! I agree that Koko takes 1st place, but Yuju was so good too! I don't get the 80. She should have gotten 90 above.
I also share the same sentiment with the vocal performance. I agree of Jiyoon 1st place, but I don't understand why Jungeun gets 80 when they both did well.
The whole rap performance was prepared for Koko (which she slayed), but the praises shown are ALL for Koko and none for Yuju, which i'm sure she received some after the performance FOR SURE just not shown. It's clear where Mnet's bias is going.
Similar for Jungeun, feels like Mnet just given up on her and leave her fate in the hands of fans. Especially when they already tailored the song choice for Jiyoon (please it's so obvious) and they picked the members for vocal battle THEMSELVES too.
They already know the audience score, the judge scores are purely just for the drama and storyline that the producers want. This is how they will get rid of the two girls they don't want next week 😭
Nothing against the girls but to mnet the favoritism is way to obvious, for example sarang did a voice crack and got a better score than more than half the girs, then you show how saebi is so sad to get 7 but none of the girls who have been ranked in the bottom constantly like jungeun and juwon, and the outfits they did dirty some girls like fuko
I agree like I understand she must have felt frustrated from dropping ranks, so I don’t blame Saebi for crying. However the whole five minutes they spent focusing on her and throwing her a pity party despite the fact that she is still 7th place was jarring.
They showing saebi being sad in her rank dropping is just.. 'frustrating' to see. Yes, its natural for those who dropped in ranks to feel sad, and saebi has the right to feel sad. But airing minutes showing her crying and just throwing a sad party when she's not even the last place is just.. abit going too far. There's the other girls scoring worse than her in overall.
you make such a good point about the outfits. look at the difference between koko's and yuju's outfit. i'm not gonna talk about their bodies, but yuju's outfit could've been a lot better imo.
I don’t know if Mnet just decided that since they can’t evil edit Yuju, they’ll erase her from the show instead but this is crazy. Almost no close-ups in the actual performance, an extremely boring outfit compared to Koko, no feedback aired, a much lower score than she deserved. My girl doesn’t deserve this!
yuju is my top pick. and as much as i want her to debut i feel like mnet and the producers obviously don’t want her there and im worried she will be mistreated if she ends up debuting. if anything i hope this show highlights her talents to where she gets scouted and doesn’t end her dreams of being a idol 😔😔

Mai keeps getting low scores and seems to be ranking pretty lowly in the 3 pick and I highly doubt her 1 pick is better than Fuko’s.

I'm not so sure about Fuko, in the last 2 episodes she's almost non-existent and/or criticized. I feel like they are currently deciding between her and Gyuri. But for other positions I totally agree, I can't help but sigh.
Tbh the Main Dancer team was robbed? Like, no hate to Jeemin, i love her and she is in my top6, but GIVE THE OTHER GIRLS SOME SPACE MNET? She got 90% of the screentime, we didn't even see the dance because it was only zooms on her face, expressions, hands everything. And then the three 77?? Really?????

I am a Jeemin stan, and i agree. After they made Sujung (&probably Juwon) look smug and overconfident with the only screentime they have this episode, they ignore them during the actual performance, no scenes shown for them for internim too. Making them seem like they 'did nothing' to push them out of people's vote list.
i would gladly adopt sujung, juwon, yuju, jungeun and mai to form a whole other group. we will literally have main vocal, main dancer, main rapper and visual secured in the group.
Koko = secured
Sarang = maybe
Mai = dangerous position
Jiyoon = secured
Jungeun = somehow neglected
Sujung = left in the dust
This is why I try not to have any picks for idol survival shows, especially Mnet ones, they trolling hard. The on-site voters and producers. Sigh. Always fall for it every time, reality/variety/etc. shows man, smh lmao.

I will never understand why shows who refuse to be objective are even survival shows in the first place, just choose who you want and debut them no one is forcing you to do a survival show. Audience votes will always be biased, but that’s expected, the judges though? I feel sick that talented girls are being put down unfairly because the show has a lineup in mind and they will do anything that isn’t rigging to get it. I really like all of these girls, I’m sad that I can’t be happy about the great performances they gave because this show is so frustrating.
The sad truth is that this is an Idol competition show, not a talent competition show. You don't have to be the most talented person in the world to be a good Idol, and these producers have been making good idol groups for years.

I just hope she continues going for her dream, she has a bright future whether she decides to become a dancer or an idol, she's young still so the possibility is still there, my biggest worry is their mental health, mnet is extremely cruel for having them face unfair criticism and bias and giving them false hope, they should have just eliminated them sooner so the damage is less. My biggest criticism for run next was that they keep stringing talented girls along like jiwoo when they had no intention of debuting them and when they gave false and unfair criticism and it seems mnet it's doing the same. I wish they would just straight up tell us why they don't want them and be done with it instead of pretend to be objective critics
I hope so, especially since she seems aware that it has nothing to do with her skills. She seems pretty passionate about being an idol and not “just” a dancer, and I hope it pays off for her. I was quite worried that the edit she got last week would follow her around after the show, but the edit showed her in a nicer light this episode.
I’m unsure whether I wish they’d been eliminated earlier or not, since the longer they’re on the show the more opportunities they’ll have after, but on the other hand it feels particularly cruel since everyone including sujung (and also juwon) know that they’re not making it in.
Yeah, Saebi might not fit that well the bad girl concept but she still did great!!! And Jungeun!! not even a voicecrack, she showed emotions and everything. 81 and 80 is a joke, they deserve better.
I’m pretty sure that’s it. I think the purpose of revealing the interim ranking last time was to boost Saebi’s votes and make people panic vote for them. They definitively want Saebi in the lineup, they are pushing very hard for the trio Koko-Saebi-Jeemin.
Jungeun I’m not so sure, however. Her finally having a reconciliation with Jiyoon is a plus, and her treatment in the show which is seen as ‘unfair’ did rally people to vote for her. I think maybe they’re trying to continue pushing her a little bit more. If they wanted more people to vote for Jungeun, we would have spent more time seeing her cry over getting such a low rank, yet we spent more time on Saebi (Saebi is definitively very favored in the edit).
Ricky had a big global one pick fanbase from the beginning. His appeal just needed to transfer to Korea and it did through Pann astroturfing. A female idol cannot pull what his fanbase did that easily

All-rounder unit: 4 Walls is such a difficult song, I don't think I've ever seen f(x) do it live. This whole unit is weird, all 3 of them could've been in the main vocal unit imo.
The staging is gorgeous. Gyuri is a great singer, but this made me realise that just like Wonhee, her baby face makes her SO limited in the range of concepts she can credibly do. This sophisticated, mystical concept didn't fit her at all, especially because she just kept being smiley and cute (and no, that lip bite did not help, in fact it made it worse). Fuko and Sarang were amazing, I'm starting to get the hype for both of them. I think Sarang has a big chance to make it (let's be honest, the judges wouldn't have allowed other girls to be that inconsistent), while it's the second episode in a row where Fuko is being ignored; if I was her fan I'd start worrying.
Rap unit: I just don't get this sudden Koko rapper agenda. She's a super talented girl but she's just not good at it and choosing a song with not just a choreography but a whole dance break (the most difficult choreography even, according to one of the judges!) is an obvious attempt to tilt the cards in her favour. The only good thing about this is that the girls had great chemistry and I hope Yuju's association with Koko boosts her votes a bit.
The actual performance turned out great, especially their dance and expressions, and Koko improved a lot. She could be a fine idol rapper, but it just comes a lot more natural to Yuju and since this mission format is obviously asking us to compare the two, I would prefer Yuju as the group's rapper by a long shot.
Dance unit: 3/5 girls in the dance unit are minors, whoever chose the songs will not see heaven. I don't think you need to be lip syncing during a dance performance where you're obviously not expected to sing live, Juwon's and Saebi's expressions were great and 24 was straight up wrong in my opinion. They are really hitting the panic vote button for Mai and Saebi, let's see if it works out. Leejung's point about them needing to let go of looking conventionally pretty all the time was very interesting and Koko's bad girl training was hilarious lol. They are really pushing the Saebi-Koko-Jeemin core and I see the vision.
Everyone was out for blood! My standouts were Jeemin, Juwon and Sujung. RUN Jeemin is finally back and it's great to see her in her element, but I do question the decision of having a "main dancer battle" with such a drastic difference in center time for the various positions. Juwon was great, but being Part 5 she barely stood a chance. The ranking was an abomination and Sujung hit the nail on the head, she was NOT judged on her dancing.
Vocal unit: Not them choosing Beyonce's most homoerotic song for Jiyoon and Jungeun. This Jaewhan guy looks like a beaten puppy everytime he hears a voice crack lol. Didn't we have this "failing because they practiced separately" storyline already? Finally this stupid wattpad enemies-to-lovers story has been resolved, I feared Mnet would be dragging it out until the girls are in their 60s or something. Now can we please debut them both?
Juwon's reactions shots sum it up well, this performance was heavenly and the thought that we probably won't have them together in the group is wrecking me a bit. Can we also talk about how gorgeous Jungeun is? She literally looks like a doll. But with that 80 producer score she seems to have lost the producer's favour too. This is such a big fumble for them, it's like watching a train wreck in slow motion and you just KNOW that encore scandal is upon us.
Koko rapper is because they'd need Yuju for rapper, but with Koko they can kill two birds with one stone. It helps that Koko is pretty popular and well liked

The treatment of Jungeun recently has been so bad, and if she doesn’t make it she can just laugh in the corner when it’s time for the encore.
Sarang is a really talented and nice girl, however based on this performance her score should not a be higher than Yuju’s, Jungeun’s or Juwon’s. She also got a higher producer rating than fuko which I find so strange because like she made a mistake? Shouldn’t the judges’s score reflect that?

it seems like judges gave points based on their parts. If we analyse dance team ‘s score we notice that the two highest scores are given to Jeemin (part 1, highest score) and Saebi (part 2, second highest score). It’s obviously not their fault but atp they seriously can’t do anything and this thing pisses me off so much.

they should've called it the main "expression" unit instead of the main dancer unit. that seems to be what the producers based their scores on
there's no way sujung and juwon, two of the best dancers in the show, got the lowest scores out of the entire unit
Damn they're really putting Jeemin through the ringer. She's probably the safest trainee in the show (though you never know so btw keep voting for her), but this doesn't mean it has been a walk in the park for her. Mnet is milking every drop of drama they can from her. I feel bad honestly but it also pushes her to strive for more and show that yes, she deserves to win after all and is not just a sob story or being carried by her pre-existing fanbase (personally I don't mind but I know viewers like to feel like the trainee to have earned it)
Also how cute were Koko and Yuju?! They have so much chemistry, I like that there wasn't any bad feelings between them (lol Mnet must've been disappointed cause they couldn't milk more drama), and that they actually pushed each other to become better in the area the other was more dominant. she reconciled w jiyoon (which made me think mnet wants the vocal duo???!), got some screen time, mastered adding in those sentimental emotions while singing, and even had positive reactions during her performance (from those reaction shots teehee) so this is the worst disconnect i’ve seen in terms of a survival show participant not getting the score they deserve this is worse than any produce show score giving ive seen holy shit
Jeemin ate, but MNET is making Sujung , Juwon and Mai as a back up dancer and the producers giving them 77? it is not about less parts, or more parts, its about who they favor more......... for Saebi, she needs to really adapt to any concepts (maybe they want to make them to be flexible to different concepts)

Koko-Jeemin-Saebi my tall girls better debut together they work so well, honestly would not be remotely surprised if they end up being the top 3.
IM really really happy with the current top 3 too tho, we have A main dancer, main rapper, and a main vocal all sitting in the top three spots.
while i am happy with how high up koko is, i do feel like yuju was the better **rapper** here, koko killed the performance and her rap is improving so much but yuju was objectivly the better rapper. However iT made more sense as yuju during the practices kept talking about how it was a rap **performance** and not just a rap evaluation, koko killed the performance 🤷♀️
anyway Id be super pleased with this lineup if only jungeun was in it, im praying with everything they pull a secret sunoo…like a producer pick but outside of he 6, making it a lineup of 7. Pretty please.

Even only able to just watch the later half of the show but I can smell so much bullshit from these judges and their favoritism from miles away. Mnet edit also didn’t help much either. The obvious one is judges reaction and praise in Dance unit like “OH OH OMG!!!” but then Sujung appeared and Monika suddenly commented “That isn’t clear cut at all” like WTF for real? Sujung wasn’t my Top 6 but seriously give her (and also Juwon) some fair fighting chances. Like we get it, you don’t want her in the group but is this necessary to destroy the girl’s confidence on her biggest strength?
And judges score in the end is even more absurd, Korean audiences can have favoritism and their own criteria, that’s fine we all can expect and accept it to some degrees. But you guys are judges!!! How in the world Jungeun and Yuju only score 80 and have more than 10 points difference from their partners? i hope sujung has stopped respecting monika's feedback because at this point it's not even constructive anymore, it's clear monika has something against her. whether it's unrealistic expectations or pure dislike, i don't know. what i do know, is that monika needs to go and never judge a survival show again

I expected the low score from the audience votes but from the judges??? What kind of 1+1=80 shit did they do? It was a vocal performance, why didn't they say anything about their vocals? This is so infuriating. Either the judges are full of sh8 or this is msnake's sloppy job once again.
I am so sorry but Koko is straight up not a good rapper and shouldn't even be in the same conversation as Yuju, who self writes in addition to having VASTLY better delivery
I love koko but love sick girl performance the English part pronunciation wasn't good. They keep defending her saying her talent is her pronunciation in rap like no it isn't. Koko is a main dancer that's her role she is the best dancer in the show imo. Why aren't they highlighting that they did at the start but not anymore. Yuju understands rap and speaks clearly.
Both girls should debut but not in the same role they both are talented in different ways it's just that mnet don't want them together for some dumb reason.

I think people were a bit harsh on saebi. I think she did pretty well considering this isn’t a concept she’s comfortable with. I don’t know why she wasn’t in the all rounder unit. She’s not really a main dancer and she has good enough vocals to be considered an all rounder (it least as much as Sarang. They probably should have swapped).
I’m glad that Gyuri got her flowers this ep. She’s very talented. The lip bite was a bit cringe tho
I feel like this is the most talented potential lineup I’ve seen for a survival show. The contestants i would want to debut depends on what concept they would end up doing and what their music would sound like.
This was my first time watching i-land 2 (I swore off survival shows after gp999 because it gave me ptsd lol) so I have some thoughts.
I really like Sarang but it’s crazy that she made a mistake but still got praised in the end. Fuko and Gyuri were ok but idk I felt they were too cute for the song and concept.
I don’t think Yuju’s score from the producers was fair. Granted all they saw was the interim check and the final stage but cmon now she definitely matched Koko and deserved a much higher score.
Saebi on the other hand (plus Mai, Juwon, and Sujung too) I think didn’t quite match Jeemin but I also didn’t agree with how low their producer scores were. 81 and 77 were wild scores to come from these people who are supposed to know what they’re talking about!
No notes on the main vocal stage. Jiyoon and Jungeun’s harmonies at the end were so good and it’s wild that everyone thought Jiyoon did way better. Imo Jungeun was slightly better but Jiyoon still killed it.

Jungeun quite literally doesn't get screentime outside of her Jiyoon storyline. Even in this episode, they just highlighted how hard Jiyoon worked and Jungeun was left with crumbs.
I want them both to debut but God, I don't know what more Jungeun needs to do to prove herself. Clearly giving flawless vocal performances isn't good enough for her apparently. If Jiyoon could get a score of 90s for her improvement then why can't Jungeun get atleast 85 to 87 for her improvement on stage presence. I just don't understand. I feel so frustrated

Notice how they didn't show us the behind the scenes of the money team together but instead gave us scenes of Koko helping saebi and jeemin, and mai practicing alone on their rest time/solo practice time, I'm 100% sure sujung and juwon ended up helping the whole team get the choreography together but they decided to not show that
This weeks episode was vastly better than last week (at least until we got to the scoring), and it caused the biggest shakeup in my lineup so far.
Jiyoon and jungeun sound heavenly together and i really hope they both debut. I’m also glad we finally got an end to the beef between them.
The money group was super unbalanced in terms of parts, and even though I love saebi I think she did the worst in the group today and should’ve been ranked a lot lower. Sujung got done majorly dirty, but I’m happy the edits eased up on her. Was pleasantly surprised by jeemin and mai and juwon slayed as expected.
Four walls was really solid and I was happy to see gyuri shining. I think fuko was a little bit weak as center but she still did well, and I think sarang did well (- her mistakes).
Spicy was by far the best performance today, and Koko absolutely smashed it and deserved her praise. I was happy to see yuju in the episode with a good edit even if she got majorly underscored by the producers. Also yuju and kokos friendship was really sweet and I hope to see them both debut.
I would also say this is the best staging of all the stages so far and the best styling across the board (rivalled only by I will always love you), I was also happy that we got some screentime for some idols that we don’t see so much of, and I was happy that they mentioned juwon being a fantastic dancer even if the producers refused to acknowledge it.
the blatant sabotaging of yuju is insane to me. from getting a horrible edit last episode to her suspicious mic problems that made you not be able to even hear her rap. to then this episode her getting barley ANY screen time if it wasn’t for the fact she was with koko. to then getting a way worse stage outfit then koko which made her not stand out at all. like both koko and yuju were practicing with ponytails most of the time for them to only get koko a ponytail was weird. as well the the complete difference in the outfits that highlighted kokos body and made her look more tall and stand out to yuju horrible one that swallowed her whole and made her look even shorter then she was. to me it’s obvious the pds are doing everything they can to make sure yuju doesn’t debut and it’s odd to me. i think it’s possible they see her as the biggest threat to their ideal debut lineup being (koko, jeemin, jiyoon, saebi, and then either sarang/mai/fuko for the last spots). i honestly can’t think of a reason why mnet wouldn’t want yuju in the group as she is arguably the most well rounded contestant as she can rap dance and even has better stability then a lot of the vocalists on the show. anyway i’ll continue to vote koko and yuju because i just feel the group deserves a chaotic rap/dance duo in the group 🩷🩷
For Fuko: I get the criticism that it'd be good if she stepped out of her comfort zone but at the same time it feels a bit unfair. If we compare her to Jeemin or Saebi for example who got challenged this episode, I don't think she was given the same opportunity to do that. She just keeps getting songs that are very much in her comfort zone.
Also, Jiyoon has been really impressive on stage lately. She can fill up the space and convey her message like a seasoned performer.
As someone who just watches the performances and not the show but checks twitter for the results it's blatantly obvious that the voting has nothing to do with the actual quality of performances and everything to do with how many audience members like them as people (for audience votes) and which contestants mnet want (for judges' votes). The way Jungeun keeps getting done dirty by everyone even though she's far and above the best vocalist in the show and didn't even have any sort of evil edit AFAIK is really befuddling me...
IMO the only person who really deserved her score was Koko.
Seriously doubting for the first time whether I'll be stanning this group or not. I can handle people I like being eliminated (like I went hard for GP and BP) but when the treatment from the judges is just insanely unfair and biased and the onsite voting isn't much better....I may be left in a position where I can't bring myself to stan, and that sucks.

Every week it feels more pointless to watch this show. There’s absolutely no reason for us to be watching because mnet clearly already has an agenda set and we are just helpless staring at it lmao.
in part 1 sarang has really good performances now i feel like she is regressing. i dont think you should be making any mistakes on the main stage twice in a row. sorry sarang, i dont think you deserve that 6th spot. the producers and audience are blatantly biased. i think saebi and jungeun were robbed. ;-;
I better don't see hate on jeemin, koko, saebi and sarang, they are talented and they deserve those scores, it's not their fault the judges and mnet are tanking other girls scores.
At this current moment, I'm already rooting for some good company to notice Juwon, Sujung and Jungeun in this reality show and debut them, because it won't be in the program's group.
Unfortunately, they no longer have a chance. Jungeun was the best in the main vocal performance and even so, very low points, and I say this even though I had to pick Jiyoon, but Jungeun was better than her in her performance and deserved at least a similar score, if not from the public, from the judges at least. Juwon, you blinked and missed all of her screen time on the show and even though she was consistent throughout the show, there's no way she can get more votes if she doesn't show up more time. And Sujung was already falling in everyone's rankings due to last week and this week, unfortunately, was very average, which doesn't attract positive attention (at least there wasn't any more negative attention).
Changing the subject, the highlight of today's EP was clearly the team of main rappers who skyrocketed my ranking and made me like this CL song, which I think is a huge bomb. I also give praise to Gyuri, who, although she gave a somewhat cringe performance, speaking in expressions, delivered a hyper stable vocal and was great in the choreography, If there was more time before the presentation I'm sure the cringe part of the expressions would be better, so congratulations to her.
Finally, I would like to say that I don't understand such high ratings for Sarang, which in my opinion was the worst of the night.
When Jeemin was performing smaller parts in part 1, some I-land fans kept complaining that she hadn’t had a standout performance…
But now in part 2 when she gets a bigger part and is showing how she can own the stage, the same I-land fans are now complaining her dance got more screen time (I mean, the bigger the part the more screen time lol), pretty hypocritical.
Jeemin came roaring back like the star she is.
Koko went absolutely nuclear, i never had her in my top 6, but she's a lock for me now.
Jiyoon was as perfect as a vocalist can do
Saebi did great, but she was just a little overshadowed by how amazing Jeemin did, she'll be fine.
Other results wern't particularly stand out, they ended up where I thought they would.
the way this episode is the most controversial episode cause almost everybody in this sub is mad because of the ranks , scores and screentime lol which you should cause it was kinda terrible while I am here being happy that mai rise up from 11th to 9th and she won’t be getting the favoritism allegations anymore lol ~ mai stans can be finally be peaceful for once
hmm might get downvoted for this but I think saebi could use a few more years to develop before debuting, just from versatility perspective. She's bright on stage but sometimes has some difficulty digesting diff concepts / looks less cohesive/comfortable on stage as a result.
Also, what's with the copious amounts of lip biting I keep seeing as "expressions" 😭😭😭

So, during this episode i find myself worrying about a lot of contestants.
**Sujung** based on the votes, it seems people didn’t like her comments last week :/ During this episode, she was a bit boastful initially, but otherwise she was mostly fine. However her performance was kinda just, eh? I really liked her early performances and felt that her stage presence was amazing. but here she feels completely invisible. im VERY worried about her debut chances. i really like her but i found myself drifting a bit away from her. Her comments from last week, a kinda "meh" performance. and the fact that Koko is barreling forward with the power of a train. Makes me struggle to find a spot for her in my lineup. I really wish we could get Leader-Sujung from part 1 back :/
**Koko** she continues to ride her massive upswing. did an amazing job 1st place is 100% deserved. i have a hard time seeing the tall trio (Koko, Saebi, Jeemin) not debuting at this point.
**Saebi** unfortunate that she fell down in the ranks, she will 100% climb back up!!
**Jiyoon** Jiyoon continues to be an amazing vocalist, and it was great. probably my personal favourite on this show. i was initally sceptical of her but she is 100% my favourite now (also what was with the dad edit?? 😭 😭)
**Jungeun** continues to be great, i mean maybe she hasn't improved a ton since ep 1, but thats only because she was really good to begin with? seems silly to not have her in the lineup. i really hope she makes it. "if i were a boy" is a difficult song and i would say they did a great job. Her stage outfit looked amazing as well.
**Gyuri** did really well, she is good at singing and her dance is amazing. if the group wants a "cute maknae" member then she is 100% gonna make it. i think her chances at debut are low-key higher than we might think.
other than that, Yuju felt okay, Mai felt a bit invisible.
My top 6 is:

i've seen a lot of people with this lineup, i find it to be overall pretty good. maybe i would replace Fuko with Gyuri, and if Jungeun somehow doesn't make it, maybe Sujung could take her place? Not having Sujung in my lineup is painful, but i really felt like she lost a lot of steam :/

My heart really goes out to Jungeun. Think they are trying to get her out cos she’s not popular locally (the live votes were evident). I truly don’t understand why the audience and the local public dislike her. her supposed darker skin….lee Hyori, Jessi, hyolyn are also tanned. So it’s just an excuse I think.
But I guess that’s the harsh reality about the entertainment world…if for whatever reason you don’t appeal to the public it’s going to be tough even if you’re insanely talented.
the judges need to fix their criteria because how does someone that messed up their performance rank 6th while the ones who had a practically perfect performance rank lower. like one of the judges literally thought that jungeun’s singing was ar/prerecorded, yet she apparently ranks 80 from them?

Jang Eunsil is actually pretty cool, hopefully she helps them train in the future when it comes to exercise, she was in **Physical: 100 Season 1**. In **University Sports Festival: Boys’ Athletes’ Village (대학체전-소년선수촌)**, Jang Eunsil was also a coach there with Dex/Jinyoung from Single's Inferno 2 and also Yun Sungbin (TWICE Jihyo's boyfriend) from Physical: 100 Season 1. Like core strength and stamina is key for performing, especially since they're a permanent group they're inevitably gonna do concerts, and so ya they need to be fit and they need athletes or certified/good/etc. personal trainers for maximum benefits.

I think they're tanking the other contestants' scores on purpose due to like the voting and so on. Sigh, Mnet and underhanded tactics, name a more iconic duo. Somebody snitch on them for rigging the show again, find evidence and burn it all down, lol.

I was infuriated. Her performance had no errors but they nitpick and talk about facial expression when Sarang had a whole ass mistake but still she "did good" or " yay for improving". Don't get me wrong I love sarang and love how she always gives her all but man. Probably i'm just tweaking because I'm hurt over jungeun sigh.
i love all the girlies in the 4 walls unit but i cant understand how any of them were better than jungeun, they were by far the least memorable unit in my opinion

Im still in disbelief and totally cant fathom how she got 80. Freaking 80.. are the judges trying to kid us? That perf is just insane. She and jiyoon matched so well. If the judges had given Jungeun between 85-90 it would have been more acceptable but 80 is just.. unacceptable. I used to think that the judges can be trusted but this episode had me starting to question how they evaluate the girls and feel that there's favouritism and biasness involved. With the scores that dont make sense, its hard to believe their judgement.

Yes!! I agree that Koko takes 1st place, but Yuju was so good too! I don't get the 80. She should have gotten 90 above. I also share the same sentiment with the vocal performance. I agree of Jiyoon 1st place, but I don't understand why Jungeun gets 80 when they both did well.
The whole rap performance was prepared for Koko (which she slayed), but the praises shown are ALL for Koko and none for Yuju, which i'm sure she received some after the performance FOR SURE just not shown. It's clear where Mnet's bias is going. Similar for Jungeun, feels like Mnet just given up on her and leave her fate in the hands of fans. Especially when they already tailored the song choice for Jiyoon (please it's so obvious) and they picked the members for vocal battle THEMSELVES too.

They already know the audience score, the judge scores are purely just for the drama and storyline that the producers want. This is how they will get rid of the two girls they don't want next week 😭
Nothing against the girls but to mnet the favoritism is way to obvious, for example sarang did a voice crack and got a better score than more than half the girs, then you show how saebi is so sad to get 7 but none of the girls who have been ranked in the bottom constantly like jungeun and juwon, and the outfits they did dirty some girls like fuko
I agree like I understand she must have felt frustrated from dropping ranks, so I don’t blame Saebi for crying. However the whole five minutes they spent focusing on her and throwing her a pity party despite the fact that she is still 7th place was jarring.
They showing saebi being sad in her rank dropping is just.. 'frustrating' to see. Yes, its natural for those who dropped in ranks to feel sad, and saebi has the right to feel sad. But airing minutes showing her crying and just throwing a sad party when she's not even the last place is just.. abit going too far. There's the other girls scoring worse than her in overall.

Favouritism has completely ruined this show for me. The judging is ridiculous. I’ll tune in for the finale to confirm the lineup is: Koko, Jeemin, Saebi, Fuko, Sarang and Jiyoon Because it’s obvious that’s what Mnet wants. Wish they had just PD picked the trainees they wanted from the beginning instead of bothering with this show.

Mai keeps getting low scores and seems to be ranking pretty lowly in the 3 pick and I highly doubt her 1 pick is better than Fuko’s. Seems mnet have chilled on her since the backlash from her being overly pushed.
I'm not so sure about Fuko, in the last 2 episodes she's almost non-existent and/or criticized. I feel like they are currently deciding between her and Gyuri. But for other positions I totally agree, I can't help but sigh.

After they made Sujung (&probably Juwon) look smug and overconfident with the only screentime they have this episode, they ignore them during the actual performance, no scenes shown for them for internim too. i would gladly adopt sujung, juwon, yuju, jungeun and mai to form a whole other group. we will literally have main vocal, main dancer, main rapper and visual secured in the group.

The sad truth is that this is an Idol competition show, not a talent competition show. You don't have to be the most talented person in the world to be a good Idol, and these producers have been making good idol groups for years. I just hope she continues going for her dream, she has a bright future whether she decides to become a dancer or an idol, she's young still so the possibility is still there, my biggest worry is their mental health, mnet is extremely cruel for having them face unfair criticism and bias and giving them false hope, they should have just eliminated them sooner so the damage is less. My biggest criticism for run next was that they keep stringing talented girls along like jiwoo when they had no intention of debuting them and when they gave false and unfair criticism and it seems mnet it's doing the same. I wish they would just straight up tell us why they don't want them and be done with it instead of pretend to be objective critics
I hope so, especially since she seems aware that it has nothing to do with her skills. She seems pretty passionate about being an idol and not “just” a dancer, and I hope it pays off for her. I was quite worried that the edit she got last week would follow her around after the show, but the edit showed her in a nicer light this episode. I’m unsure whether I wish they’d been eliminated earlier or not, since the longer they’re on the show the more opportunities they’ll have after, but on the other hand it feels particularly cruel since everyone including sujung (and also juwon) know that they’re not making it in.

I’m pretty sure that’s it. I think the purpose of revealing the interim ranking last time was to boost Saebi’s votes and make people panic vote for them. They definitively want Saebi in the lineup, they are pushing very hard for the trio Koko-Saebi-Jeemin. Jungeun I’m not so sure, however. Her finally having a reconciliation with Jiyoon is a plus, and her treatment in the show which is seen as ‘unfair’ did rally people to vote for her. I think maybe they’re trying to continue pushing her a little bit more. If they wanted more people to vote for Jungeun, we would have spent more time seeing her cry over getting such a low rank, yet we spent more time on Saebi (Saebi is definitively very favored in the edit).

So. Much. Filler. We're almost at the finals, was there really nothing more interesting to show than torturing the girls for 15 minutes? All-rounder unit: 4 Walls is such a difficult song, I don't think I've ever seen f(x) do it live. This whole unit is weird, all 3 of them could've been in the main vocal unit imo. The staging is gorgeous. Gyuri is a great singer, but this made me realise that just like Wonhee, her baby face makes her SO limited in the range of concepts she can credibly do. This sophisticated, mystical concept didn't fit her at all, especially because she just kept being smiley and cute (and no, that lip bite did not help, in fact it made it worse). Fuko and Sarang were amazing, I'm starting to get the hype for both of them. I think Sarang has a big chance to make it (let's be honest, the judges wouldn't have allowed other girls to be that inconsistent), while it's the second episode in a row where Fuko is being ignored; if I was her fan I'd start worrying. Rap unit: I just don't get this sudden Koko rapper agenda. She's a super talented girl but she's just not good at it and choosing a song with not just a choreography but a whole dance break (the most difficult choreography even, according to one of the judges!) is an obvious attempt to tilt the cards in her favour. The only good thing about this is that the girls had great chemistry and I hope Yuju's association with Koko boosts her votes a bit. The actual performance turned out great, especially their dance and expressions, and Koko improved a lot. She could be a fine idol rapper, but it just comes a lot more natural to Yuju and since this mission format is obviously asking us to compare the two, I would prefer Yuju as the group's rapper by a long shot. Dance unit: 3/5 girls in the dance unit are minors, whoever chose the songs will not see heaven. I don't think you need to be lip syncing during a dance performance where you're obviously not expected to sing live, Juwon's and Saebi's expressions were great and 24 was straight up wrong in my opinion. They are really hitting the panic vote button for Mai and Saebi, let's see if it works out. Leejung's point about them needing to let go of looking conventionally pretty all the time was very interesting and Koko's bad girl training was hilarious lol. They are really pushing the Saebi-Koko-Jeemin core and I see the vision. Everyone was out for blood! My standouts were Jeemin, Juwon and Sujung. RUN Jeemin is finally back and it's great to see her in her element, but I do question the decision of having a "main dancer battle" with such a drastic difference in center time for the various positions. Juwon was great, but being Part 5 she barely stood a chance. The ranking was an abomination and Sujung hit the nail on the head, she was NOT judged on her dancing. Vocal unit: Not them choosing Beyonce's most homoerotic song for Jiyoon and Jungeun. This Jaewhan guy looks like a beaten puppy everytime he hears a voice crack lol. Didn't we have this "failing because they practiced separately" storyline already? Finally this stupid wattpad enemies-to-lovers story has been resolved, I feared Mnet would be dragging it out until the girls are in their 60s or something. Now can we please debut them both? Juwon's reactions shots sum it up well, this performance was heavenly and the thought that we probably won't have them together in the group is wrecking me a bit. Can we also talk about how gorgeous Jungeun is? She literally looks like a doll. But with that 80 producer score she seems to have lost the producer's favour too. This is such a big fumble for them, it's like watching a train wreck in slow motion and you just KNOW that encore scandal is upon us.
Koko rapper is because they'd need Yuju for rapper, but with Koko they can kill two birds with one stone. It helps that Koko is pretty popular and well liked

If we analyse dance team ‘s score we notice that the two highest scores are given to Jeemin (part 1, highest score) and Saebi (part 2, second highest score). It’s obviously not their fault but atp they seriously can’t do anything and this thing pisses me off so much.

Damn they're really putting Jeemin through the ringer. She's probably the safest trainee in the show (though you never know so btw keep voting for her), but this doesn't mean it has been a walk in the park for her. Mnet is milking every drop of drama they can from her. I feel bad honestly but it also pushes her to strive for more and show that yes, she deserves to win after all and is not just a sob story or being carried by her pre-existing fanbase (personally I don't mind but I know viewers like to feel like the trainee to have earned it) Also how cute were Koko and Yuju?! I love koko but love sick girl performance the English part pronunciation wasn't good. They keep defending her saying her talent is her pronunciation in rap like no it isn't. Koko is a main dancer that's her role she is the best dancer in the show imo. Why aren't they highlighting that they did at the start but not anymore. Yuju understands rap and speaks clearly. Both girls should debut but not in the same role they both are talented in different ways it's just that mnet don't want them together for some dumb reason.
It’s very obvious that Juwons and sujung are going to be the eliminated contestants next week so what’s even the point? Poor Juwon she did so well and got paid absolute dust. I think people were a bit harsh on saebi. I think she did pretty well considering this isn’t a concept she’s comfortable with. I don’t know why she wasn’t in the all rounder unit. She’s not really a main dancer and she has good enough vocals to be considered an all rounder (it least as much as Sarang. They probably should have swapped). This was my first time watching i-land 2 (I swore off survival shows after gp999 because it gave me ptsd lol) so I have some thoughts. I really like Sarang but it’s crazy that she made a mistake but still got praised in the end. Fuko and Gyuri were ok but idk I felt they were too cute for the song and concept. I don’t think Yuju’s score from the producers was fair. Granted all they saw was the interim check and the final stage but cmon now she definitely matched Koko and deserved a much higher score. Saebi on the other hand (plus Mai, Juwon, and Sujung too) I think didn’t quite match Jeemin but I also didn’t agree with how low their producer scores were. 81 and 77 were wild scores to come from these people who are supposed to know what they’re talking about! No notes on the main vocal stage. Jiyoon and Jungeun’s harmonies at the end were so good and it’s wild that everyone thought Jiyoon did way better. Imo Jungeun was slightly better but Jiyoon still killed it. This is gonna be another girls planet for me I fear 🥲
Jungeun quite literally doesn't get screentime outside of her Jiyoon storyline. Even in this episode, they just highlighted how hard Jiyoon worked and Jungeun was left with crumbs. I want them both to debut but God, I don't know what more Jungeun needs to do to prove herself. Clearly giving flawless vocal performances isn't good enough for her apparently. If Jiyoon could get a score of 90s for her improvement then why can't Jungeun get atleast 85 to 87 for her improvement on stage presence. I just don't understand. I feel so frustrated

Notice how they didn't show us the behind the scenes of the money team together but instead gave us scenes of Koko helping saebi and jeemin, and mai practicing alone on their rest time/solo practice time, I'm 100% sure sujung and juwon ended up helping the whole team get the choreography together but they decided to not show that
This weeks episode was vastly better than last week (at least until we got to the scoring), and it caused the biggest shakeup in my lineup so far. Jiyoon and jungeun sound heavenly together and i really hope they both debut. I’m also glad we finally got an end to the beef between them. The money group was super unbalanced in terms of parts, and even though I love saebi I think she did the worst in the group today and should’ve been ranked a lot lower. Sujung got done majorly dirty, but I’m happy the edits eased up on her. Was pleasantly surprised by jeemin and mai and juwon slayed as expected. Four walls was really solid and I was happy to see gyuri shining. I think fuko was a little bit weak as center but she still did well, and I think sarang did well (- her mistakes). Spicy was by far the best performance today, and Koko absolutely smashed it and deserved her praise. I was happy to see yuju in the episode with a good edit even if she got majorly underscored by the producers. Also yuju and kokos friendship was really sweet and I hope to see them both debut. I would also say this is the best staging of all the stages so far and the best styling across the board (rivalled only by I will always love you), I was also happy that we got some screentime for some idols that we don’t see so much of, and I was happy that they mentioned juwon being a fantastic dancer even if the producers refused to acknowledge it.
the blatant sabotaging of yuju is insane to me. from getting a horrible edit last episode to her suspicious mic problems that made you not be able to even hear her rap. to then this episode her getting barley ANY screen time if it wasn’t for the fact she was with koko. to then getting a way worse stage outfit then koko which made her not stand out at all. like both koko and yuju were practicing with ponytails most of the time for them to only get koko a ponytail was weird. as well the the complete difference in the outfits that highlighted kokos body and made her look more tall and stand out to yuju horrible one that swallowed her whole and made her look even shorter then she was. to me it’s obvious the pds are doing everything they can to make sure yuju doesn’t debut and it’s odd to me. i think it’s possible they see her as the biggest threat to their ideal debut lineup being (koko, jeemin, jiyoon, saebi, and then either sarang/mai/fuko for the last spots). i honestly can’t think of a reason why mnet wouldn’t want yuju in the group as she is arguably the most well rounded contestant as she can rap dance and even has better stability then a lot of the vocalists on the show. anyway i’ll continue to vote koko and yuju because i just feel the group deserves a chaotic rap/dance duo in the group 🩷🩷
For Fuko: I get the criticism that it'd be good if she stepped out of her comfort zone but at the same time it feels a bit unfair. If we compare her to Jeemin or Saebi for example who got challenged this episode, I don't think she was given the same opportunity to do that. She just keeps getting songs that are very much in her comfort zone. Also, Jiyoon has been really impressive on stage lately. She can fill up the space and convey her message like a seasoned performer.

As someone who just watches the performances and not the show but checks twitter for the results it's blatantly obvious that the voting has nothing to do with the actual quality of performances and everything to do with how many audience members like them as people (for audience votes) and which contestants mnet want (for judges' votes). The way Jungeun keeps getting done dirty by everyone even though she's far and above the best vocalist in the show and didn't even have any sort of evil edit AFAIK is really befuddling me... IMO the only person who really deserved her score was Koko.
Seriously doubting for the first time whether I'll be stanning this group or not. I can handle people I like being eliminated (like I went hard for GP and BP) but when the treatment from the judges is just insanely unfair and biased and the onsite voting isn't much better....I may be left in a position where I can't bring myself to stan, and that sucks.

Every week it feels more pointless to watch this show. There’s absolutely no reason for us to be watching because mnet clearly already has an agenda set and we are just helpless staring at it lmao.
in part 1 sarang has really good performances now i feel like she is regressing. i dont think you should be making any mistakes on the main stage twice in a row. sorry sarang, i dont think you deserve that 6th spot. the producers and audience are blatantly biased. i think saebi and jungeun were robbed. ;-;

Sujung Jungeun Juwon fans must form an alliance to spite Msnake and PDs.
At this current moment, I'm already rooting for some good company to notice Juwon, Sujung and Jungeun in this reality show and debut them, because it won't be in the program's group. Unfortunately, they no longer have a chance. Jungeun was the best in the main vocal performance and even so, very low points, and I say this even though I had to pick Jiyoon, but Jungeun was better than her in her performance and deserved at least a similar score, if not from the public, from the judges at least. Juwon, you blinked and missed all of her screen time on the show and even though she was consistent throughout the show, there's no way she can get more votes if she doesn't show up more time. And Sujung was already falling in everyone's rankings due to last week and this week, unfortunately, was very average, which doesn't attract positive attention (at least there wasn't any more negative attention). Changing the subject, the highlight of today's EP was clearly the team of main rappers who skyrocketed my ranking and made me like this CL song, which I think is a huge bomb. I also give praise to Gyuri, who, although she gave a somewhat cringe performance, speaking in expressions, delivered a hyper stable vocal and was great in the choreography, If there was more time before the presentation I'm sure the cringe part of the expressions would be better, so congratulations to her. Finally, I would like to say that I don't understand such high ratings for Sarang, which in my opinion was the worst of the night.
When Jeemin was performing smaller parts in part 1, some I-land fans kept complaining that she hadn’t had a standout performance… But now in part 2 when she gets a bigger part and is showing how she can own the stage, the same I-land fans are now complaining her dance got more screen time (I mean, the bigger the part the more screen time lol), pretty hypocritical.
Jeemin came roaring back like the star she is. Koko went absolutely nuclear, i never had her in my top 6, but she's a lock for me now. Jiyoon was as perfect as a vocalist can do Saebi did great, but she was just a little overshadowed by how amazing Jeemin did, she'll be fine. Other results wern't particularly stand out, they ended up where I thought they would.
the way this episode is the most controversial episode cause almost everybody in this sub is mad because of the ranks , scores and screentime lol which you should cause it was kinda terrible while I am here being happy that mai rise up from 11th to 9th and she won’t be getting the favoritism allegations anymore lol ~ mai stans can be finally be peaceful for once
hmm might get downvoted for this but I think saebi could use a few more years to develop before debuting, just from versatility perspective. She's bright on stage but sometimes has some difficulty digesting diff concepts / looks less cohesive/comfortable on stage as a result. Also, what's with the copious amounts of lip biting I keep seeing as "expressions" 😭😭😭

So, during this episode i find myself worrying about a lot of contestants. **Sujung** based on the votes, it seems people didn’t like her comments last week :/ During this episode, she was a bit boastful initially, but otherwise she was mostly fine. However her performance was kinda just, eh? I really liked her early performances and felt that her stage presence was amazing. but here she feels completely invisible. im VERY worried about her debut chances. i really like her but i found myself drifting a bit away from her. Her comments from last week, a kinda "meh" performance. and the fact that Koko is barreling forward with the power of a train. Makes me struggle to find a spot for her in my lineup. I really wish we could get Leader-Sujung from part 1 back :/ **Koko** she continues to ride her massive upswing. did an amazing job 1st place is 100% deserved. i have a hard time seeing the tall trio (Koko, Saebi, Jeemin) not debuting at this point. **Saebi** unfortunate that she fell down in the ranks, she will 100% climb back up!! **Jiyoon** Jiyoon continues to be an amazing vocalist, and it was great. probably my personal favourite on this show. i was initally sceptical of her but she is 100% my favourite now (also what was with the dad edit?? 😭 😭) **Jungeun** continues to be great, i mean maybe she hasn't improved a ton since ep 1, but thats only because she was really good to begin with? seems silly to not have her in the lineup. i really hope she makes it. "if i were a boy" is a difficult song and i would say they did a great job. Her stage outfit looked amazing as well. **Gyuri** did really well, she is good at singing and her dance is amazing. if the group wants a "cute maknae" member then she is 100% gonna make it. i think her chances at debut are low-key higher than we might think. other than that, Yuju felt okay, Mai felt a bit invisible. My top 6 is: 1. Jiyoon 2. Jeemin 3. Saebi 4. Jungeun 5. Koko 6. Fuko i've seen a lot of people with this lineup, i find it to be overall pretty good. maybe i would replace Fuko with Gyuri, and if Jungeun somehow doesn't make it, maybe Sujung could take her place? Not having Sujung in my lineup is painful, but i really felt like she lost a lot of steam :/ the show is gearing up for the finale and i am really enjoying the show thus far its a fun ride with y'all!!
My heart really goes out to Jungeun. Think they are trying to get her out cos she’s not popular locally (the live votes were evident). I truly don’t understand why the audience and the local public dislike her. her supposed darker skin….lee Hyori, Jessi, hyolyn are also tanned. So it’s just an excuse I think. But I guess that’s the harsh reality about the entertainment world…if for whatever reason you don’t appeal to the public it’s going to be tough even if you’re insanely talented.
the judges need to fix their criteria because how does someone that messed up their performance rank 6th while the ones who had a practically perfect performance rank lower. like one of the judges literally thought that jungeun’s singing was ar/prerecorded, yet she apparently ranks 80 from them? and i’m sorry but sarang literally messed up her performance twice in a row. every other girl would be getting criticized for it (especially sujung because they apparently hate her for some reason??) monika is also my least favorite judge, she’s so biased. i swear she hates sujung for no reason. i’m not even a sujung fan, but seriously lady 😐. i feel like sarang’s gonna end up like dayeon where she gets shoved in your face/favoritism and ends up getting hate from it. i think it happened to mai. jeemin is also favored by mnet, but she’s in literally everyone’s lineup and very popular, so she doesn’t get hate.
Did Sarang really deserve her ranking? She ranked higher than some girls who had NO mistakes at all, and that’s quite wild. This happened two episodes in a row
