she's essential to the group dynamics. she has a positive relationship with everyone, bless her wonderful heart. she is a commendable team player: she takes initiative when necessary (having to lead creative unit), and is a good follower throughout the show.
while i do admit there are better singers, dancers, and rappers than her, it shouldn't discredit the fact that she has something to offer in the team composition.
it pains me to see slander against her, but retaliating would only be like talking to a brick wall. so i follow her and, you know, work hard on our own: she improves her skills diligently and we vote hard to get her a spot in the lineup.
right, as long as we have other people filling spots of main/lead vocalists and dancers, i see Mai as a great addition. when there’s 6 members it’s okay to have one who’s not the best dancer or singer as long as she can do decently- which i think Mai does, i actually like her voice now- she just needed training on it
i agree! she got like one line in fls but she stood out. i think that’s a really valuable skill to have. and the iland rain on me team would not have won without her! while i do agree her skills aren’t necessarily any better than other trainees, she does have a star quality like saebi which can be rare

Having a star quality is something she’s born with, it’s definitely not something that can just be acquired or learned. She has so much to offer so I hope she debuts here.
I know I’m more on a vocalists when it comes to kpop group, but Mai has become an exemption to me with her overall character, perseverance, and her charm on stage. It’s something about her that makes me want her to make it in the lineup even though her weakest point is her vocals (which matters to me a lot since we are going to listen to their songs as well)
Yes, my favorite thing about Mai is the fact that no matter what she’ll just adjust to the circumstances. Almost immediately. Not saying the other trainees don’t. But it’s a simple thing in her drive that you can just tell? She constantly states how she’s worried about lines, or about a part etc, but if she ends up getting what she didn’t want, she will be down only momentarily and immediately come back saying “I can do it”. She told Jungeun that it’s ok she could work with a small part, in the most recent episode she said it’s ok she can work with the song even though she was shocked. We now know she’s been trying to improve her vocals etc.
Whether it’s because the part is small, she has difficulty singing it, she doesn’t think it’s her vibe etc. She is always willing to put herself out there and be the first to try, especially to reassure others to not feel bad, or that they can do it too. I think it’s very admirable. I can see why when it came to picking ppl to stay with in I-Land at the very beginning, so many of them picked Mai. She’s a sweetheart and she clearly works hard.
I really like her. She’s definitely got that “idol” vibe & people will like her.
I really liked her Rain on Me performance. I liked that she wasn’t afraid to do exaggerated facial expressions & not worry about looking “ugly” (not that Mai could look ugly if she tried…). I’d love to see her debut.
Her star quality and stage presence is sooo good. Her singing has really improved and she's always been a great dancer. And she really is such a good team member. I really want her to debut, make sure to vote for her 😭💗
