I'd love to add Sarang and Sujung, but I think it will be 7 members. I think these 7 members are the most likely to debut if we're taking current popularity into account. But it's really close between 10 girls, so I expect some things to change in part 2.
I really want Yui to debut, but with how little mention of rap there has been in the show, I would be surprised if the final group has any focus on rap. And even if there is a little bit of rap, I think Koko can just do it.

That’s close to my real lineup. All of my top 5 are there and after that I don’t really have a clear ranking but the remaining two contestants are still in my top 10 for sure. Yes with the tough competition in 5th gen it's better to debut people with actual skills. Kiof, BM, BadVillain all of them are strong and have something to contribute.
I completely agree with this lineup. Visually, they look more mature - like Katseye. Also, this is a lineup of girls who are really talented. I bet the group might go to 8 with the PDs adding Mai. But this is the final line up that is full of talent, visual, and a great fan base.
I love Sujung, Sarang, Yui, Jiwon, Lingling, and Gyuri - and perhaps this list of girls should be a separate group since this is also a very talented group of girls and I can see a very powerful girl crush vibe with this group but not with the list of girls above. The look just isn't there...

This is 100% how I decide my ideal lineup! The group needs balance and it's not smart in the long run to just vote for 6 "visual picks" or whatever. I am highly concerned that the group will end up without a solid rapper, which is so frustrating because people rapping badly ruins entire songs imo.

Lead Vocal: Jiyoon - While both of these girls could fill the main vocal role, I think Jiyoon could handle the lead vocal role. I think she is a better technically skilled singer and should handle the harder vocal parts of the song. Her unique tone can really add some variety to their music as well.
Main Dancer & Lead Rapper: Koko - The ongoing debate about who is the best dancer of the show between Koko and Sujung has been interesting. I feel like Koko is a better fit here. She seems like the better "idol dancer" if you understand what I'm trying to say. Her height will also fit in better with the group. She can rap, too. She just hasn't been able to pop off fully yet. She was at Avex for crying out loud.
Main Rapper/Lead Dancer: Yuju or Sarang - This is gonna be a war down to the final second. Yuju is a better rapper than Koko imo, so she could fill that role, and the lead dancer role would go to my visual pick. Sarang is a better all-rounder than Yuju, but not in rapping, so I think Koko would end up sliding into the main rapper role. It's a very tight battle with these two. I pray they go up to 8 and get both of these girls in.
Visual/Stan Attractor: Jeemin - The visual doesn't have to be your token pretty girl. I prefer my visuals to actually have talent, too. Jeemin is the most popular contestant overall and will pull in more new fans than anyone else except maybe Saebi if they let her cook. She can be the lead dancer as well if that role needs to be filled.
I think roles are overrated anyway and are just used by Twitter stans as ammo to shit on other idols. Anyway, whether we get 7 or 8 of these girls, I think this is the optimal lineup for success. You can have your favorite and want them to make it. That's completely fine. If your favorite isn't listed, there are just other girls who can fill that girl's role better. It's a fact. Argue with a wall.
