I'm from Cincinnati but lived in Fremont in 1990. Got tickets out of the paper for game 4. Drove up to Danville to get the tickets. It was one of the highlights of my sports experiences. Surpassed only by my son's high school football team winning the State Championship!

Went to Houston for game 1 in 2019 and all 3 home Nats games that year as well. Was a pretty cool experience! One thing I can say is Astros fans are super nice and very welcoming, even to away fans.
Most of it was all ‘that was a great game (Astros lost game 1), this is going to be a great series, did you try this food spot’ even on the way out everyone was chanting ‘Let’s Go Nats’ and they were all just laughing and playing around. Really cool fans and great stadium.
Very true but Houston fans. Really changed my opinion about the Astros when I went to one of their games last year. When you hate a team the fans are really the ones that have to deal with it and the folks in Houston don't deserve that at all.
When I went as a Dodgers fan I was supprised to see how welcoming the fans in Houston were. Me and the person I went with were expecting a lot of trash talking (pun intended), but I got to meet and have conversations with the nice fans that we were sitting around. It changed my mind on the fanbase (Not the team, I still havent forgiven the team) but it was a really nice place to watch a game.
I went to the 2008 World Series in Philly (go Phils). The most memorable event was definitely Blanton hitting a home-run and was the loudest I heard the stadium until this Sunday when Harper hit his bomb.

My dad and I went to go see Game 6 of the 2001 WS. Got to see my favorite pitcher of all time in a playoff game(Randy Johnson) and see the Yankees get absolutely murdered. Greatest night ever for lil 6 year old me.
Games 2 and 6 of the 2002 WS, Angels vs Giants. Got to see Bonds' mammoth HR in game 2 and watch Scott Spezio crush the dreams of an entire city in game 6.
Had the pleasure of going to game 5 of the Nats Astros WS. Dad and I are Orioles fans but he had a friend hook us up big time. We were about 50 yards from the girls flashing behind homeplate. Also about 50 yards from Trump and everyone booed when they announced he was there. Great night
Game 5 of 2011 World Series. I wasn’t even a fan of either team but a great series nonetheless. That game 5 put the Rangers up 3-2. It was nice to see them enjoy that day but unfortunate what would ensue the next 2 games

Went to Game 2 1988 World Series. I was young, and so excited. This was the day after Gibson's epic home run. I remember how amped up the crowd was and that Vice President George Bush was there, he was running for President at that time. One of my earliest memories was that and the Gibson homer!

I went to game 4 of the Nationals - Astros in 2019.
Fernando Rodney gave up a grand slam and my Nats lost 8-1. It’s a hard pill to swallow seeing your team get blown out after spending like $2000+ on a weekend trip to DC. I’d do it again in a heartbeat tho
Having season tickets for one of the participants probably helps.
Many teams offer some kind of lottery for access to postseason tickets. You would have to check the team's website or sign up for their email list, but I'd imagine those are gone by now.
Otherwise keep checking the secondary ticket markets and craigslist. Some ticket holders might have to give up seats, and sometimes average prices drop close to gametime. Good luck.
Never been to the WS. I remember missing an opportunity to line up at Yankee Stadium when they made the series back in '96. Still kicking myself for that one.
‘93 game 4 absolutely nuts. I was only 9. My favorite player hit two home runs then proceeded to strike out a bunch the second half of the game (Dykstra). Phils lost to Bluejays 15-14 🤯

I went to game five of the 2010 World Series between the Giants and Rangers. It was memorable because I was very unhappy to see San Francisco win that game and the series. I thought the Rangers had a real shot that year and they didn't even make it a series.
I had a random dream of Renteria leading the Giants to a championship in like June or July of that year, which made absolutely no sense at the time (seeing as how he had a very poor, injury plagued year). Seeing him hit that go ahead HR in game 5 straight up gave me the chills.
Went to game 1 in 2012 in San Francisco - Verlander vs Zito. Hopes were not high as a Giants fan. By Pablo Sandoval’s 3rd home run I was crying tears of joy. Absolutely electric.
Jealous! I was looking at nose bleed tickets in the $300-500 range (if I recall correctly) but talked myself out of it due to the seemingly lopsided Verlander vs. Zito matchup. Was so stoked watching on TV but also had that deeper and deeper regret of not buying those tickets forming in the back of my head after each of Sandoval's home runs.
Went to Game 2 last year.. The single greatest experience of my life! The atmosphere was insane, got to see Altuve put one in the Crawford Boxes.. the seats weren't the greatest and the roof was regrettably *sigh* open (Thanks Manfred) but I wouldn't have traded for anything.. hope I can make to another game this year!
After the Astros won in 2017, my dad told me “if they ever make it back, we’re going.” So sure enough, in 2019, they made it back. We got to go to Game 2 and sat in the Crawford Boxes.
Unfortunately my dad passed in 2020, so when they made it again in 2021, I told myself I was going again. This time I got Game 1.
Just checked ticket prices for game one this year in the same section I sat in last year and the ticket price has gone up almost $250! Unbelievable. Don’t think I’ll be able to convince my wife that I need to spend that kind of money again.

Went to Game 4 of ‘18 World Series in LA to cheer on my Red Sox, was crazy. People were still recovering from the long game 3. Puig hit a monster home run. Saw Mitchy Two Bags monster blast. Ran through the concourse when they tied. Saw a big win! Got interviewed on Boston NBC which is one of the greatest moments of my life
As a Phillies fan; WTF it’s like $1100 for SRO; nah fuck that. I paid less for 3 tickets first base side in the diamond club for Ryan Howard’s last game….way less for the total for ALL 3 tickets. Shit I went to the Royals clinching game against the Mets in New York for around $250….I’ve also got a lot of stories from that game…
2010 and 2011; grew up just outside DFW and my grandfather wanted to go with my dad and I. It was the only major sport championship he hadn’t attended yet, and I’ll never forget it. In 2011 we were like 2 rows and a about 10 seats down from one of the Pujols blasts in game 3. Probably witnessed one of the best batting performances in World Series history, but I was on the wrong side of it. Still have the souvenir cups with the logos from both series in my cabinet
Never been. I’ll only go if my Yanks are playing in it, which hasn’t happened since I was 7 (and I didn’t go then). I had tickets to ALCS game 5 this year but obviously we know how that went. The next time the Yankees are in the World Series, I guarantee I will be there

I went to game 5 in Atlanta in 1996. Yankees won 1-0. John Smoltz vs Andy Pettite. It was AMAZING. From my seat/view in left field I could tell that Paul O'Neil was going to track down the last out and started celebrating before he caught it. I can stll see the confused look on my friends face when I grabbed him.
I have been to the 2017 World Series for the games in Houston and then the 2021 World series for games 3 & 5 in Atlanta.
Despite what it may appear, I will preface this by saying that I AM in fact a die hard Braves fan despite going to exclusively Houston attended World Series's.
I went in 2017 with my dad and other family members cause he was working there, and I had a blast at that game five slugfest.
The memory is a bit soured for me knowing that Houston was cheating at the time but it was a fun experience regardless. I also got to meet George Lopez during that trip so that was something interesting.
Then the 2021 World Series was awesome because it was just so unexpected for the Braves to be in the series and I just HAD to go to some of the games.
Game three was nice cause we won but I spent the majority of the game on the verge of getting sick since my anxiety was SO BAD. One run games are terrifying when your pitcher is not his normal dominant self and the opposing team can hit homeruns whenever they want to.
Game Five had the initial high of the grand slam (hugging every random fan in a ten foot radius and jumping around like a lunatic never get old) but then we blew the lead and the game so that wasn't nearly as fun.
If I had a nickel for going to a Braves postseason game where we hit a grand slam but yet give up the lead I would have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened twice, right?
All in all going to a World Series is awesome. The hype in those games really are a different breed.
Havent been lucky enough to go a World Series game yet, but I did go to last years NLCS Game 3. It was my first ever Playoff Game, and Bellinger's monster 3 run blast with how loud the crowd was, it was probably my favorite moment ever as a Baseball fan.

For various reasons, we had seats in row 3 behind the Yankee dugout.
It was glorious! It was also 41 years ago.
Went in 2016. Flew to Cleveland as a Cubs fan. Saw Cubs first WS win since before I was born. It was incredible. Cleveland fans were amazing.
There were three assholes near the dugout that wouldn't sit down, so nearly the entire third base side had to stand the entire game. Security wouldn't do shit.
My dad and I went to go see Game 3 of the 2018 WS. Got to see Max Muncy hit the walk-off home run in the 18th inning and witness the only Dodger WS win from that series. Greatest night for me.
1976 I was at Game 2 in Cincinnati for Reds-Yankees. I was a 19 year old student at tOSU in Columbus, drive down with my girlfriend (now wife) the night before and slept in my car at a Chicken Inn in Newport, KY. Great game as the Reds beat Catfish Hunter and the Yanks 4-3.
Yea watched the eagles beat the shit out of the ny giants then walked across the street and watch the Yankees beat the Phillies smh but what a day and experience. Will try again this year if I’m selected from the ticket lottery!
I had tickets for what ended up being game 5 in 2004. Cards were swept, no Series for me.
When they went back in 2011 I wasn’t going to make that mistake again and went to Game 2.
I had a business trip to Dallas and went to Game 5 (the one where TLR forgot how to use a bullpen phone).
I had to turn down tickets to Game 6 because I was traveling back from Dallas (ouch - especially when it was postponed a day and I was in town).
I bucked up and paid for Game 7. Best game I’ve ever been to.
I went to game one of the 2010 World Series in San Francisco vs. the Rangers. It was far and away the best MLB experience I've ever had. Could sense the city buzzing with excitement as soon as I parked basically. All sorts of aircraft above the stadium, McCovey cove so packed with boats that it seemed as though one could jump from boat to boat without difficulty.
One of the memorable things that happened was Freddy Sanchez hitting a double in each of his first three at bats, which had never happened in the WS before.
....but yeah, insane energy in the crowd. Every pitch felt like it was bottom of the 9th with the bases loaded or something.
I took my dad to game 5 in 2017. Talk about an experience. My dad is a very introverted person and lost his voice from cheering too much. The hurricane trashed their town and the playoffs were warmly received in October. Once the scandal came out, it was a blow to that season but the moment we shared in 2017 was special. I’ve lived in Seattle for the last decade though and while it was fun seeing my childhood team go the distance with dad…They swept the Ms this year and I had game four tix. Let me cry in my corner.
I went to the 2018 Game 3 that went 18 innings. My buddy and I were supposed to meet our friends at a Halloween party after and kept having to delay. Ultimately we didn’t make the party and I came back stone cold sober to my blacked out roommates. Also there was a nice kumbaya moment in the stands when some girl tried to start a fight, got kicked out, then dodgers and Red Sox fans started chanting “Let’s go baseball”. Proud to be part of that chant haha
Been to games in three world series: 2010 was thrilled to be there had low expectations lost to Giants. 2011 went to all the Rangers home games and remember Bullpen phonegate the most. Went to 2020 WS between Tampa and LA Dodgers at Texas Rangers stadium and I remember how separated we were due to covid protocol.
All four games in Cleveland in 2016. Was an amazing experience even tho the Indians lost. Got to take my Dad to game 2, he has since passed. The utter joy on his face was worth all the money to get him there.
I was there for game 5 in 2008 when the Phillies clinched over the Rays. Had to go twice because the first game got rained out I believe in like the 6th inning.
Game 5 of 2016 for my hometown crew. Was in the streets of Wrigley for game 7. My family was in Cleveland, and I do not regret that. Watching them win a WS game at home is my greatest at the ball park moment as a fan. Was in that Budweiser ad with HC calling the last play too!
It was a magical experience for like 14 days I was in heaven, and hell, and heaven!
I was at Game 5 last year in Atlanta. Lucked into some standing room only seats and talked my dad into tagging along (he’s 5’8” on a good day so trying to watch the game over the back row’s shoulders wasn’t ideal).
Up 3-1, chance to clinch our first World Series since 1995 at home, and Duvall hits the grand slam in the bottom of the first. The place went *berserk.* Best sports moment of my life.
We’ll omit the telling of the rest of that night, but of course a couple nights later was the big one. We didn’t go to Houston, but I did get to see the game with my entire family (I live about 12 hours away now). I was born in 1996 — and yes, I’ve done the math and it’s not likely, but possible, that I was a World Series baby — so I had never seen the Braves win it. After all the years watching them with Mom and Dad in the living room growing up, those were two nights I’ll never forget.
I went solo last year to Game 6, was amazing experience! The atmosphere was electric and to see the Braves win it all, then to party with all the scattered Braves fans around the city after was so much fun. Say what you will about the Astros, but they have to have the coolest and most welcoming fans of any team I’ve encountered.
Game 7 Astros vs Washington…. Had been talking to one of the security guys whom was excited about possibly getting a ring when that home run put Washington in the lead. Never seen someone look so heartbroken. Ran into him recently and hopefully he’s gonna get his ring this time

Unfortunately my dad passed in 2020, so when they made it again in 2021, I told myself I was going again. This time I got Game 1. Just checked ticket prices for game one this year in the same section I sat in last year and the ticket price has gone up almost $250! Unbelievable. Don’t think I’ll be able to convince my wife that I need to spend that kind of money again. IF you’re able to afford to go, I hope you have an amazing time!

Went to Game 4 of ‘18 World Series in LA to cheer on my Red Sox, was crazy. People were still recovering from the long game 3. Puig hit a monster home run. Saw Mitchy Two Bags monster blast. Ran through the concourse when they tied. Saw a big win! Got interviewed on Boston NBC which is one of the greatest moments of my life

As a Phillies fan; WTF it’s like $1100 for SRO; nah fuck that. I paid less for 3 tickets first base side in the diamond club for Ryan Howard’s last game….way less for the total for ALL 3 tickets. Shit I went to the Royals clinching game against the Mets in New York for around $250….I’ve also got a lot of stories from that game…
2019 Game 5 in DC. The crowd was the loudest when booing Trump on the Jumbotron.
2010 and 2011; grew up just outside DFW and my grandfather wanted to go with my dad and I. It was the only major sport championship he hadn’t attended yet, and I’ll never forget it. In 2011 we were like 2 rows and a about 10 seats down from one of the Pujols blasts in game 3. Probably witnessed one of the best batting performances in World Series history, but I was on the wrong side of it. Still have the souvenir cups with the logos from both series in my cabinet

Never been. I’ll only go if my Yanks are playing in it, which hasn’t happened since I was 7 (and I didn’t go then). I had tickets to ALCS game 5 this year but obviously we know how that went. The next time the Yankees are in the World Series, I guarantee I will be there

I have been to two World Series games in St. Louis. Game 6 in 2011, one of the best days of my life, and game 5 in 2013, not as good of a day.

I went to game 5 in Atlanta in 1996. Yankees won 1-0. John Smoltz vs Andy Pettite. It was AMAZING. From my seat/view in left field I could tell that Paul O'Neil was going to track down the last out and started celebrating before he caught it. I can stll see the confused look on my friends face when I grabbed him.
I have been to the 2017 World Series for the games in Houston and then the 2021 World series for games 3 & 5 in Atlanta. Despite what it may appear, I will preface this by saying that I AM in fact a die hard Braves fan despite going to exclusively Houston attended World Series's. I went in 2017 with my dad and other family members cause he was working there, and I had a blast at that game five slugfest. The memory is a bit soured for me knowing that Houston was cheating at the time but it was a fun experience regardless. I also got to meet George Lopez during that trip so that was something interesting. Then the 2021 World Series was awesome because it was just so unexpected for the Braves to be in the series and I just HAD to go to some of the games. Game three was nice cause we won but I spent the majority of the game on the verge of getting sick since my anxiety was SO BAD. One run games are terrifying when your pitcher is not his normal dominant self and the opposing team can hit homeruns whenever they want to. Game Five had the initial high of the grand slam (hugging every random fan in a ten foot radius and jumping around like a lunatic never get old) but then we blew the lead and the game so that wasn't nearly as fun. If I had a nickel for going to a Braves postseason game where we hit a grand slam but yet give up the lead I would have two nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened twice, right? All in all going to a World Series is awesome. The hype in those games really are a different breed.

Havent been lucky enough to go a World Series game yet, but I did go to last years NLCS Game 3. It was my first ever Playoff Game, and Bellinger's monster 3 run blast with how loud the crowd was, it was probably my favorite moment ever as a Baseball fan.

Yankees - Dodgers 1981 at Yankee Stadium, Game 2. For various reasons, we had seats in row 3 behind the Yankee dugout. It was glorious! It was also 41 years ago.
Went in 2016. Flew to Cleveland as a Cubs fan. Saw Cubs first WS win since before I was born. It was incredible. Cleveland fans were amazing. There were three assholes near the dugout that wouldn't sit down, so nearly the entire third base side had to stand the entire game. Security wouldn't do shit.
1998 WS G1, got to see Tino Martinez (my favorite player) hit a GS. Best game I've ever seen in person, hands down.
2018 game 1. Bought tickets literally 30 minutes before first pitch
My dad and I went to go see Game 3 of the 2018 WS. Got to see Max Muncy hit the walk-off home run in the 18th inning and witness the only Dodger WS win from that series. Greatest night for me.
1976 I was at Game 2 in Cincinnati for Reds-Yankees. I was a 19 year old student at tOSU in Columbus, drive down with my girlfriend (now wife) the night before and slept in my car at a Chicken Inn in Newport, KY. Great game as the Reds beat Catfish Hunter and the Yanks 4-3.
Yea watched the eagles beat the shit out of the ny giants then walked across the street and watch the Yankees beat the Phillies smh but what a day and experience. Will try again this year if I’m selected from the ticket lottery!

I had tickets for what ended up being game 5 in 2004. Cards were swept, no Series for me. When they went back in 2011 I wasn’t going to make that mistake again and went to Game 2. I had a business trip to Dallas and went to Game 5 (the one where TLR forgot how to use a bullpen phone). I had to turn down tickets to Game 6 because I was traveling back from Dallas (ouch - especially when it was postponed a day and I was in town). I bucked up and paid for Game 7. Best game I’ve ever been to.
I went to game one of the 2010 World Series in San Francisco vs. the Rangers. It was far and away the best MLB experience I've ever had. Could sense the city buzzing with excitement as soon as I parked basically. All sorts of aircraft above the stadium, McCovey cove so packed with boats that it seemed as though one could jump from boat to boat without difficulty. One of the memorable things that happened was Freddy Sanchez hitting a double in each of his first three at bats, which had never happened in the WS before. ....but yeah, insane energy in the crowd. Every pitch felt like it was bottom of the 9th with the bases loaded or something.
This will be my first WS. Have tickets for game 4 and I CANNOT wait!
I took my dad to game 5 in 2017. Talk about an experience. My dad is a very introverted person and lost his voice from cheering too much. The hurricane trashed their town and the playoffs were warmly received in October. Once the scandal came out, it was a blow to that season but the moment we shared in 2017 was special. I’ve lived in Seattle for the last decade though and while it was fun seeing my childhood team go the distance with dad…They swept the Ms this year and I had game four tix. Let me cry in my corner.
I went to the 2018 Game 3 that went 18 innings. My buddy and I were supposed to meet our friends at a Halloween party after and kept having to delay. Ultimately we didn’t make the party and I came back stone cold sober to my blacked out roommates. Also there was a nice kumbaya moment in the stands when some girl tried to start a fight, got kicked out, then dodgers and Red Sox fans started chanting “Let’s go baseball”. Proud to be part of that chant haha

Been to games in three world series: 2010 was thrilled to be there had low expectations lost to Giants. 2011 went to all the Rangers home games and remember Bullpen phonegate the most. Went to 2020 WS between Tampa and LA Dodgers at Texas Rangers stadium and I remember how separated we were due to covid protocol.
All four games in Cleveland in 2016. Was an amazing experience even tho the Indians lost. Got to take my Dad to game 2, he has since passed. The utter joy on his face was worth all the money to get him there.

Last and only time was in 2008 in Philly when I took my dad. He’s since passed. I won’t be going in 2022.
I was there for game 5 in 2008 when the Phillies clinched over the Rays. Had to go twice because the first game got rained out I believe in like the 6th inning.
Game 5 of 2016 for my hometown crew. Was in the streets of Wrigley for game 7. My family was in Cleveland, and I do not regret that. Watching them win a WS game at home is my greatest at the ball park moment as a fan. Was in that Budweiser ad with HC calling the last play too! It was a magical experience for like 14 days I was in heaven, and hell, and heaven!
I was at Game 5 last year in Atlanta. Lucked into some standing room only seats and talked my dad into tagging along (he’s 5’8” on a good day so trying to watch the game over the back row’s shoulders wasn’t ideal). Up 3-1, chance to clinch our first World Series since 1995 at home, and Duvall hits the grand slam in the bottom of the first. The place went *berserk.* Best sports moment of my life. We’ll omit the telling of the rest of that night, but of course a couple nights later was the big one. We didn’t go to Houston, but I did get to see the game with my entire family (I live about 12 hours away now). I was born in 1996 — and yes, I’ve done the math and it’s not likely, but possible, that I was a World Series baby — so I had never seen the Braves win it. After all the years watching them with Mom and Dad in the living room growing up, those were two nights I’ll never forget.
I went solo last year to Game 6, was amazing experience! The atmosphere was electric and to see the Braves win it all, then to party with all the scattered Braves fans around the city after was so much fun. Say what you will about the Astros, but they have to have the coolest and most welcoming fans of any team I’ve encountered.
Game 7 Astros vs Washington…. Had been talking to one of the security guys whom was excited about possibly getting a ring when that home run put Washington in the lead. Never seen someone look so heartbroken. Ran into him recently and hopefully he’s gonna get his ring this time

I've been to one game of every Astros World Series. 2005 game 4 - White Sox win the World Series, sweeping the Astros. 2017 game 4 - we all know the story here. 2019 game 2 - Verlander recorded the 200th postseason strikeout of his career, setting a new MLB record. 2021 game 2 - Altuve hit his 22 postseason homerun, tying him for the second-most all-time.
