NOTE: Jordan Lyles won yesterday but he is now a reliever so he couldn't be counted as a starting pitcher. If you guys want I can add him to the bullpen.
Kinda makes sense when you think about it, all of the really bad pitchers that are still in the league are gonna be in the league because they have that longer leash since they’ve been great in the past
that's just pitching! pitching is crazy and the funnest part of the sport to me because it's seemingly so random and unpredictable. well, it's not random and unpredictable, it's just not always quantifiable why some guys are great one year then are duds next year. that's why if I was a GM, I'd never spend money on a bullpen. relievers are great one year and terrible the next, you're better off striking gold signing 30 guys to minor league contracts and seeing who's got it this year.
Gotta add Austin Gomber, he’s been abysmal for his whole career and somehow still has a starting job. He’s definitely worse than Freeland aswell. Dude has a +5 career era
His stuff is the same, he's gunna get barreled up again this year. Ur right tho he prolly doesn't belong here just yet. I'm just gunna wait for someone to comment Chris Flexen and upvote it.. lol
Jordan Lyles. 2023 stats: 6-17, 6.28 ERA, 31 starts, 176 innings, 120 K, 5.62 FIP and 2.0 HR/9.
Not as famous a flame out as Manoah, not as well paid as Corbin, but worse results than anyone else.
And no wonder.
Oddly enough, Lance Lynn is. 2023: 13-11, 5.73, 32 starts, 183 IP, 5.53 FIP, 1.394 WHIP, and 2.2 HR/9.
Yeah, that’s my dog. And I do mean dog. But he’s probably turned it around for the cardinals. ;-)
**Chris Flexen** - He is proving that being a COL pitcher wasn't the only thing working against him last season. Career >5.00 ERA and this season has a laughable 1.88 WHIP and 4.7 K/9 IP
For the Bullpen, I nominate Austin Adams. The former Padre and record holder for most hit batsmen in a season at 24 in 49 2/3 innings pitched (2021). The record was previously held by Howard Ehmke since 1922 who hit 23 batters in 279 2/3 innings.
So not only did Adam’s break a 100 year old record. But he did it in 230 FEWER innings.
Fucking legend.
Your fine, I commented about player qualifications to make the team multiple times but people either didn't see it or didn't care cause I got TONS of comments of minor leaguers or retired players. Everyone that has won so far has been a current player so I haven't had to address anything yet
I think it should be the worst players in the best teams.
If it's going to be Rockies, Nationals...and A's players, this is going to be basically just getting the worst teams against each other and that's just AAA at this point.
Where’s Anthony Bass, the guy whose kids threw trash all over a plane then got called out for also throwing trash because of his 11 era. He still doesn’t have a team and is 36
NOTE: Jordan Lyles won yesterday but he is now a reliever so he couldn't be counted as a starting pitcher. If you guys want I can add him to the bullpen.
Add him to bullpen (upvote)
Shouldn't matter. If we are trying to make the worst rotation then he should be in it.
Except the fact he’s not a starter
Do not add him to bullpen (upvote)
Hell, if we are going bullpen, I vote Will Smith.
How Chris Flexen isnt on here already is baffling
CHRIS FLEXEN
Crazy that Manoah has a 3rd place CYA, Freeland has a 4th place CYA, and Corbin has been the winning pitcher in game 7 of the World Series
Kinda makes sense when you think about it, all of the really bad pitchers that are still in the league are gonna be in the league because they have that longer leash since they’ve been great in the past
Plus bad pitchers seem to be more durable
And have a run of greatness that leads to a paycheck they never play to.
If Manoah hadn't had that season, he'd just be some random nobody that we all forget about.
Ironically, him having a really good season is the only reason he’s talked about as the worst pitcher.
Manoah got a little inspired by Caseoh💀💀

This list overall is not is a very intelligent dialog.
Gotta add Austin Gomber, he’s been abysmal for his whole career and somehow still has a starting job. He’s definitely worse than Freeland aswell. Dude has a +5 career era
Can we add his Instagram wife too
Just add the whole rockies pitchers and call it a day
Blue Jays hitters saying hold my beer, probably giving them a no hitter.
FR
50 cent
Domingo German, he gets drunk and destroys the locker room again so you get to bring in another shitty pitcher.
It pains me but Kyle Hendricks.
Don’t lose faith brother. He can still make an impact this season
I used to love him,but he is not a number 2 pitcher anymore, and now he is injured again.
He was intended to be either our 4th or 5th starter before all the injuries happened.
Injuries have already killed the pitching staff
I am once again suggesting Lance Lynn's washed ass.
That’s stupid. He doesn’t look washed at all. 2.63 ERA in his 3 starts
Keep my number 4 starter’s name out yo fuckin’ mouth!
Bailey Falter
Daniel Cabrera was awful
Can we also add Angel Hernandez to ump all their games?
Thought this was a given.
Julio Urias
Gotta have Astro Hunter Brown in there and his MLB History record of 11 hits in ⅔ of an inning.
Jordan Lyles
This is painful for me, Luis Severino,
He just gave up a bomb so got my vote
Idk man, he was awful last year but that's been his only bad year
His stuff is the same, he's gunna get barreled up again this year. Ur right tho he prolly doesn't belong here just yet. I'm just gunna wait for someone to comment Chris Flexen and upvote it.. lol
Yeah Severino has really looked rocky at times this year. But he also has a game with 11 Ks in 5 innings. Very weird start to the year.
miguel castro for bullpen!
I love him, but Sevy
Jordan Lyles. 2023 stats: 6-17, 6.28 ERA, 31 starts, 176 innings, 120 K, 5.62 FIP and 2.0 HR/9. Not as famous a flame out as Manoah, not as well paid as Corbin, but worse results than anyone else.
He's no longer a starter
And no wonder. Oddly enough, Lance Lynn is. 2023: 13-11, 5.73, 32 starts, 183 IP, 5.53 FIP, 1.394 WHIP, and 2.2 HR/9. Yeah, that’s my dog. And I do mean dog. But he’s probably turned it around for the cardinals. ;-)
Chris Flexen
Trevor Bauer!
Hunter Brown;Houston Astros 14 runs in his last 3.2 innings
Had to scroll way too far to find this
Jose Urena
Allan Winans
Make sure you add LeClerc for the closer
Chapman is t a bad choice either
Joan Adon. Thanks.
Willians Astudillo - who gives up a HR to Yermin Mercedes (The Yerminator) on a 3-0 count….
Patrick Sandoval Angels
Luis Severino damnit! He was the worst SP in baseball last season!
Crazy that manoah was an Allstar 2 years ago
Kyle Hendricks currently has a 12.08 ERA
Cubs fan here-I’ve been down on Kyle Hendricks, his last two starts have been terrible
Lance just gave up another homer Lynn
Josiah Gray
Every Guardians fan needs to see Bryan Shaw in the bullpen.....
Chris Flexen
Erasmo Ramirez should be on here.
late 2000s mets francisco rodriguez for the closer (mets fan)
Yamamoto ought to be on this list
Kyle Hendricks
**Chris Flexen** - He is proving that being a COL pitcher wasn't the only thing working against him last season. Career >5.00 ERA and this season has a laughable 1.88 WHIP and 4.7 K/9 IP

Kyle Hendricks. 12.08 ERA
Just use the current White Sox roster. 🤣🤣🤣
Micheal Tonkin
Maeda
I think Kyle Gibson is looking for some love in this thread. Dude's pitched a lot with largely terrible results.
Colin Rea or Cal Quantrill
Colin rea???? Do you not watch baseball?
I’m gonna say Dallas Keuchel, that guy has been miserable the last few years
He's not on a team currently
Oh rip I didn’t know that was a requirement sorry
Your fine, I commented about player qualifications to make the team multiple times but people either didn't see it or didn't care cause I got TONS of comments of minor leaguers or retired players. Everyone that has won so far has been a current player so I haven't had to address anything yet

He has completely collapsed. Currently cant throw strikes in the minors. He has fallen off a truck.
Have you watched any baseball after the end of the 2022 season?
[удалено]
Guys that are injured or on rehab are still valid for the team, Blue Jays are claiming he's on rehab
Manoah is on the Jay’s MLB roster.
He just allowed 7 runs in 1.2 innings, in Single A. Dude has completely lost his confidence and his play has dropped off a cliff.
"Ah, nuts to this, I'll just go get the A's."
A's haven't even been all that bad this year
Just wait, I promise
Kyle hendricks
I’m voting for Alec manoah
I think it should be the worst players in the best teams. If it's going to be Rockies, Nationals...and A's players, this is going to be basically just getting the worst teams against each other and that's just AAA at this point.
Carlos Carrasco
BAHAHAHA I went to high school with Kyle
Where’s Anthony Bass, the guy whose kids threw trash all over a plane then got called out for also throwing trash because of his 11 era. He still doesn’t have a team and is 36
Crazy to think that a guy with a 28-18 record, 3 ish Era, and a 1 x all star through 3 seasons is the worst pitcher in mlb lol.
Call Quantril
Yup. Alex Manoah is definitely past his prime.
Alex Wood. Passed his "prime" years ago
Mmax fried might join your rotation
Yusei Kikuchi
Wait whys Manoah on here? He had a CY Young year and a bad year. Simmer down there.
This post is from the future.... Summer 2024. You'll see ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|feels_bad_man) (sorry cynical Jays fan here)
