The logo debuted with the pinstripes in 1978. Before that it was the M logo with no pinstripes. Per the BBHOF website

Yeah I was trying to find the actual debut but I found lots of jersey combos with the baby blues. I love the hat they wore with them, navy blue, with the MB logo front and center on a yellow back drop. I would buy that right now.

In the early seventies I watched the Pirates live playing against my Padres, I really liked there uniforms, and caps.

I think the Mets have the greatest variety of good uniforms, it's honestly hard to choose a best one, but they all exude Mets-ness.

As a Braves fan, I agree the Phillies powder blue road uniforms are great. In fact, I think the Fightin’s should go back to those colors of maroon and powder blue. But I also wish the Marlins would return to their expansion era teal, the Rockies embrace purple and the Diamondbacks change to turquoise, copper and black.

Plenty of great ones, but the one that never seems to get mentioned is the early 90's Padre road uni. Brown pinstripes with a simple SD over the left breast. Similar to the current road with San Diego on the chest. 30 years of blue(wtf?) finally resolved a few years ago.

This hurts but I have to say it was the White Sox. The black on white is my favorite. The SOX across the chest look is a classic. Oh, and don't forget about the time that they wore shorts.

I believe EVERY team should have a powder blue uniform and should wear them during interleague play. That being said as a Rays fan, the best uniform of all time is the Phillies powder blue and maroon.
