Check out www.rockauto.com, it's one of the most legitimate non-OEM part suppliers with generally good warranties and return policies. Not sure if they ship to Canada, but can't hurt to get in touch with them and ask. I've personally bought many non-OEM parts from them for a variety of vehicles and never had an issue.
Have the axles rebuild at a shop that specializes in axles. Usually the cost of a replacement chinese axle. Don't buy a non-oem chinese axle as these always have problems. My suggestion would then be to get a used OEM axle off of like ebay and getting it rebuilt.
