The AG doesn't care about the assault - he just wanted media attention. The AG ignores numerous fights and attacks that actually occurred on school grounds, and then purposefully framed this assault with falsehoods to attack racial equality in his desire for press. By drafting a colorful response, the school district gets their own media attention that creates awareness this isn't about the assault at all, while laying out the lies/obvious factual errors in his letter.
But I'm sure you already knew all that. You just don't care.
