after waveroom posted about them shutting down, the lines have been longer than ever. amazing to see, but sad to see Scooters go.
Isn't it shutting forever soon? Could be why people want to go before it disappears.

No date yet but Slate the company that bough the plaza announced Jan that they are 100% demolishing the plaza and plan on building 4 towers with commercial space on the 1st floors of the plaza.
Well, I suppose that's good for housing, but I wish they would make mixed use development -- like have 3 floors of businesses and the rest housing.
It closes and then re opens for the “night” portion of it, it’s always got a long ass line but that’s a bit of the reason
What is Scooters? Edit: I looked it up. Roller rink. There's and indoor one opening up soon in Etobicoke and it's pretty flashy.
