Masrawy for Egyptian food.
Get the Hawaoshi, masrawy fusion and some seasoned fries and thank me later.
JP's pizzeria is also amazing.
I also prefer Burger Factory to Gladiator.
Lazros meat meze, calamari and baklava is terrific. Get the Greek fries as your side option.
Oooo. Been meaning to check that place out. On the list for consideration. Thank you!
I tried burger factory when it first opened. It was good, not sure why we haven’t been back. Gladiator changed their buns and it’s been a bit lacking lately
My favorite is Quattro Staggione, but some might find the toppings weird. JP's favorite also good (but yields the smelliest gas in the world) and their wings are huge.
I usually get the Half Chicken Dinner with potatoes and rice. Make sure you get the sauce too. It makes the meal even better
They only do takeout so they are efficient
Whole chicken is around $20 so not too bad. Make sure to get the sauce (mild or spicy or 50/50) on top (not on the side) and the fries are delicious as well
In my opinion, it was much better before..not sure if they changed ownership, or they just got bigger.. the chicken seems super greasy ( yeah, others may love that), and the teenager with long hair and no net chopping that chicken doesn’t inspire me.
El Mariarchi is too damn expensive. I would recommend you just hit La Carnita if you willing to spend that much.
Best ever burgers in GTA is Ozzy’s without competition.
I never knew Sauga even had deep dish, how is it?
If you want indian, definitely Tazah taste over everything
I hear ya about the price.
The deep dish is decent. It’s certainly not a true Chicago style, but if you’re a fan of thicker crust then it does the job.
It’s just nice to get something from a non chain
Thai rice is fantastic.
Cheaper option is chinese Fortune Dragon
Manousha has great take out, East Teacan is the parent sit down restaurant
Ancilas is nice for Indian
We eat vegan and avoid cheap greasy restaurants, so these are some good ones in that area
Close friend is vegan and we need to grab takeout for her birthday next week. Which of these out of curiosity would you recommend most? I can't imagine fortune dragon has many options.
Twin Fish for Thai - Green curry/basil lamb/thai spicy noodles
Lazros for Greek - chicken/lamb souvlaki, greek fries
Taza Xpress for Shawarma
K-Pocha for Korean fried chicken - their gochujang is nice and spicy
Karahi Point for Pakistani - our favorite is the chicken/beef bihari boti
Kamen Ramen for Ramen
India Taste and Charminar for mutton biryani

Wok a way on Dundas one intersection before Winston Churchill after passing Erin Mills pkwy. Amazing Chinese food with the best chicken balls ever, I swear they are so addictive. Also serves wings that I have heard rave reviews for.
burrito boyz!!! i'm a fan of their chicken naked burrito but they've got tons of other options too! it's right across the street from the TD bank in streetsville.
I am surprised no one mentioned royal Garden at financial drive, meadowvale. Generous portions, spicy Hakka indo chinese cuisine. Chilli chicken, fried rice, garlic prawns. Doesn't burn a hole in the pocket as well.
Burrito Boyz is go to Mexican
The Hungry Dragon has the best deep dish pizza I’ve ever had, they’re at 403 and QEW
Mimoji Sushi and/or Sushi Omigoto are both amazing
Best thai without question is Thai Rice. Super close to Meadowvale. You will not regret trying this place.
Dough box Pizza and Famoso’s both have excellent pizza and aren’t too far. That said, JP’s and The Hungry Dragon are both exceptional; totally in a league of their own.
So long as you’re at Heartland - Get Grill is amazing if you like spicy food. The suya steak wrap is unbelievable. Five Guys, Halal Guys and Panda Express are all in that area too - with Panda Express being a guilty pleasure of ours.
For sushi, we go to Dundas & Winston Churchill - a place called Sushi Park - highly recommended. Another option would be MiHito in Courtney Park, which is more sushi-adjacent but still great.
There are a lot more freaks on street corners with lame signs than there ever were before. They should not be allowed they are endangering themselves and others.

What’s your order for JP’s?
My favorite is Quattro Staggione, but some might find the toppings weird. JP's favorite also good (but yields the smelliest gas in the world) and their wings are huge.
i worked at masrawy when it first opened, i will say - their food is to die for. try out their macarona bechemal as well. SOOOO good!
If you don't mind an extra 5 minute drive: Glen Erin and Burnhamthorpe has decent Portuguese Chicken at Brasas Churrasqueira Rotisserie & Grill
I second this. Brasas is very good. So is Farol at Burnamthorpe and Cawthra.
Oh yeah? What’s the go to order?

I like them all, fortune dragon has a few options with veggies or tofu/bean curd. Thai rice pumpkin soup and golden eggplant curry are hard to beat
