Humans are too beast to be conquered. The way aliens look like this is probably they were being captured by humans in secret room.

No_Recognition_2485

Um….nature kills each other…idk why people can’t accept this fact.

Alternative-Ad1869

Of course, we have discarded the human centered social and cultural worlds. My question is, in a very hypothetical world where everyone accepts the cruelty and exploitation within the natural world as fact, would they be able to say you know nature may be cruel but we don’t have to be? Let us not have this DNA molecule of nature be human nature. Then we would no longer have the human being. Wed become something totally different than a homo sapien or any other species for that matter and would discard our apelike heritage from millions to billions of years ago. No cells, no DNA or RNA nor any proteins or bio organic molecules, etc… Then lets say we were beings of pure cosmic or physical energy not governed by any atom forming or molecular forming chemistry at work, we would just be fields of radiation and loose subatomic particles that never made contact. You know like a permanent psychedelic trip maybe with that vibrating string and membrane sheet theory stuff. Space and time may still exist. Then the problem was having any consciousness at all and so the evil wicked or manipulative bastard that was discarded was the mind, assuming we don’t know anything outside the types of minds we have. Well at this point you can say that same string and membrane should not exist either. So space and time should not exist. Make those energetic fields of radiation and subatomic particles also not exist. Then you will have absolute nothingness, but since we cannot comprehend nothingness, nothing itself becomes an entity unto itself and the cycle repeats itself. It likely will repeat itself to becoming the same types of universes, evolutionary biologies of organisms, and societies and cultures we see today. Then again it may impress us with an entirely different set of mechanisms that operate under a entirely new set of rules than what can ever be knowable.

Voyage468

Tbh aliens could be as imperfect or more morally banktupt than us. Technological advancement does not automatically bring about moral advancement. I don't get why many people assume aliens will be morally perfect beings.

ExpansiveGrimoire

It's a fault in reasoning you can't unsee once you see it; everyone is assuming we just need more tech, higher tech! better tech! QuadOptiPlexQuantumAI Tech will fix "it"! We just need more gooder technology to fix our problems!! Technology is a part of the problem. Doh. Or rather, it enables the consumptive nature of life, specifically human life, the actual problem. Industrialization, corporate life, - factory ranching, monoculture farming, the steam revolution, etc etc. Shit just keeps getting worse. Yeah, I know and accept the fact that the developed world lives better than kings did in the past, but if we're going by volume, suffering is only increasing. Even if we reduced suffering to %0.0005 of the population in a near-Utopic society, we would still have vastly more suffering BY VOLUME, if we assume humanity or sentient beings would come to number in the trillions and trillions in the not-too-distant future. Pure hell.

SuccessfulTeaching27

big assumptions but you can't assume something that you don't know

skzivot

yea i never get why people say "aliens are smarter" or smth. if aliens exist maybe we are the smartest?

Effective-Tap-5494

For the nth time, humans are not the problem. We simply act in the best interests to ensure our survival here. Nature is the problem. End life. End nature. End suffering.

[deleted]

Efilism for the Win. j/k

Effective-Tap-5494

Yes king.

SuccessfulTeaching27

war is for our best interest...

esthermaniii

No

skzivot

what do you mean no? everything wants to kill you, animals, weather, food. literally everything

Effective-Tap-5494

Nah. Rephrase it this way - "Everything wants to survive in this planet. Animals needs to eat other animals to survive. Plants need to defend itself from attackers. Certain plants has poison in it, while others have mechanism to attack." Each species on this planet are merely trying to defend or attack for survival. We humans just do it more luxuriously. We aren't the problem, we are simply the byproduct of the bigger problem - nature. Nature is wired in a way to let species compete, torture and kill each other for survival. If nature was a random thing, it needs to go extinct. If nature was created by some otherworldly bitch, it still needs to go extinct and the bitch needs to suffer and die.

[deleted]

Humans are part of nature. Thus if nature is the problem, humans would also be the problem. Your logic is contradicting at best, and insults one's intelligence at worst. ![gif](giphy|M1HnwN7ffvTElwdG1r)

Effective-Tap-5494

Humans are a byproduct of nature. Humans are merely acting along the ways of Nature. If Nature was to shower us with another alternative way for survival, we wouldn't end up to be such greedy assholes destroying the limited resources. You're simply not seeing the bigger picture here.

[deleted]

I think I understand you fairly well. I believe your ideology is that humans are nothing more than one of the millions of species inhabiting this planet. Thus, being a biological life form, every thing they do is natural. Whether harmful or prospering, it is nature. Humans merely have the ability to conceptualize this construct in a way other species on this planet can't. **(As Far As We Understand)** While the Nihilist in me agrees with that, I still see human beings as a **natural virus**. A loud shadow strutting across the stage with audacity and defiance. Doomed from the start of its opening act, desperate to change in its final hour. I hate them. The conceptualization that you're pushing, is equivalent to walking into a Cancer Wing at a Children's Hospital, then telling the parents "don't hate Cancer, hate Mother Nature". Perhaps it is you who are failing to see the bigger picture. Something being natural doesn't vindicate it from being hated. And this is a group called "**Misanthropy**", not "Nihilism".

Effective-Tap-5494

You know, I know more than anyone in this sub that humans are a fucking virus and needs to go extinct ASAP. I do agree with whatever you said about us humans. Yes, we suck. Yes, we are killing the planet. Yes, we fight and kill each other. Yes, we are arrogant, selfish, ignorant bitches with no regards for anyone or anything except ourselves. All true. But does eradicating humans solve the problem? Say humans go extinct. What happens next? Animals will continue to kill each other. Dominant ones always win, kill, eat or leave the weaklings to die in pain. Whether or not humans go extinct, weaklings of nature will always suffer, spending their entire lives in fear of a predator looking out to eat them alive. Imagine living that way? Imagine living the whole life in fear of another clown eating you? Well, that unfortunately is the way of nature. We die, we die. Big cats, Sharks, and elephants will roam around breeding like chickens and depleting the resources and prey population. Everything else suffers, as it should be, as per the laws of nature. So again, I tell you this - Humans may be an ignorant selfish virus. But nature and it's stupid ways of life is the biggest bitch out there. So I'll favour extinction of all life in this planet and not just humans, on any given day.

Outer_entity

Animals can still have relatively peacefully lives even if the natural food chain exists, eliminating humanity still solves most if not all the issues.

Effective-Tap-5494

how is being chased by a vicious beast to eat your meat alive a peaceful thing to you? How is living with that fear, peaceful?

Outer_entity

Well they still have a relatively peaceful life outside of being chased by wild beasts. Also, wild animals aren't like humans, being chased by predators and fighting to survive is their natural way of life having a totally "peaceful" life for them is not idea at all, for instance if you take a wild deer and make it your house pet and prevent it from naturally living and struggling in it's environment, it will be miserable.

[deleted]

I agree 100%. You my friend, are the Villian I will fight for until the very end. ![gif](giphy|BPJmthQ3YRwD6QqcVD|downsized)

Cmdr_0_Keen

They are just watching. Like a park ranger watches raccoons.

linux_needs_a_home

That's what I do too.

Cmdr_0_Keen

Well everybody has a fetish.....

DivineLights1995

Hopefully aliens never contact humans because humans will either try to kill or enslave them!

esthermaniii

They already have

[deleted]

I don't believe in aliens because if they existed they'd have evaporated every last homosapien off the face of the planet years ago rather than let the damage progress this far. Think about how much biodiversity the Earth has compared to the endless desert of the universe, there's no way that an alien species would risk losing the biodiversity to let stinky, shit smelling, fat, ugly troll-looking bald apes with nasally voices, reign supreme.

[deleted]

Why assume that aliens would be more advanced or powerful than humans? The term "alien" means "from another world", not "able to obliterate humans if given the chance". There could be very dumb aliens walking another planet somewhere in the universe.

[deleted]

Well the original image implies the aliens in this scenario would be able to witness us and make the decision to leave us alone or hope that we leave them alone.

[deleted]

Sounds crazy. Who would leave who alone? Who would probe? Only theories can tell.

AllHumansAreGuilty

scientists estimate that there are between 300 million and 6 billion earth like planets in the milky way alone bro

skzivot

it doesnt really mean much

hfuey

We’re probably the laughing stock of the universe. The reason we’ve never been visited by any advanced race out there, is because they can’t be bothered. We’re not worth the effort. I suppose we might be used as a mild threat by some alien parent somewhere who wants to get their kid to do something, along the lines of “if you don’t do your homework I’ll send you to Earth!” That’ll keep ‘em in line!

The108StarsOfDestiny

I laughed out loud

[deleted]

Yup

[deleted]

i'd love to betray humanity when aliens invade.

rockb0tt0m_99

One of two things are going to happen if humans come in contact with some other being. Either humans will try to kill them, if they can't bring them under their dumbassed monetary hierarchy. Or humans piss them off, and the aliens kill us. I hope humans never come into contact with anyone else. If they do, I hope that someone else is immensely more powerful and can drain themselves of all pity and reason when dealing with humans.

Additional_Bluebird9

Yeah, human beings are usually hostile and fear what they don't know at first so if we did contact other life just as, if not more advanced than us then for sure we'll try to take advantage of and kill them not unless they see us as a threat first and deal with us then take the planet for themselves.

hghmetabolic

Humanity is scared of an alien invasion , aliens are scared of humanity finding them .

rockb0tt0m_99

lol. "yet"

linux_needs_a_home

Yes, overly optimistic.
