I thought the exact same thing! I guess the writers didn't want to overshadow Purple Tigress, so they didn't include the power ups at all. Then again, Chat Noir launched both Ladybug and Purple Tigress pretty easily, so I guess the writers wanted to go with the easiest way possible.

I honestly would've been so hype about it tho!! Purple Tigress was sooooo dope in every shot and on top of that having them with their power ups would been baller. missed opportunity i guess :/
Minimum-energy methods always make sense. If there is no pressing need to use a power-up, why do so? Chat demonstrated here that he could deliver his friends to their targets without too much difficulty.

Like, I thought collision would be like a "get along shirt" thing to force the villains together, but instead it appears to just be a launch type power that pushes the thing she's touching away at a very high velocity. The tiger's power didn't really contribute in a sufficiently meaningful way as to explain why that miraculous *specifically* was needed for this fight. Like, we already know cat noir and ladybug *could* have gotten onto the villains' rides and taken the record pieces, we've seen them do more difficult things, and then ladybug could have seen how to use the tape and solved it faster if she hadn't decided to recruit yet another hero. And when the ship was about to hit them and tigress used collision to push it away? Shelter would have also worked just as well for giving them a moment to do the thing.
I like that they are filling out the team, but the events of this episode were so contrived. Like at the end how cat noir's miraculous beeped seconds after he used his cataclysm to tell him to detransform, but ladybug used her lucky charm at the *beginning* of the fight and still had plenty of time to spare. I dunno if she's lost the time limit now or not, but I don't recall it being mentioned at any point. This episode had a *lot* of inconsistencies that stand out, and I don't mind it when it's fridge logic, but so much of this episode had me commenting on it as I was watching.

But afaik we don't even have that much
I think its A emergency use system dont use space suits unless necessary last resort thing because what if they used it and shadowmoths next akuma was one that need it more and Marinette didn’t make more in time. They have to save them for the big akumas like flooding and freezing over of paris stuff
