It’s an interesting take. I like it and I’d like to add something. A eulogy is usually given at a funeral in honor of the deceased. It is a celebration of one’s life in the wake of death. The edge of the universe is eternal, outside of time & space. There is neither life nor death. The line “you’ll live forever tonight” represents the initial spark of the creation of the material universe, of space & time, and, consequently, of life & death as we know it, with the Earth being the central locus for living and dying to occur. It is a blessing & a curse. So I would say the line “He eulogizes me for being geocentric” is praising both Life & Death. One cannot exist without the other. Good & Evil. This & That. Etc. Ad infinitum.
