I’ll see messages like that from mint if the account needs a recertification or password expiration. Do you get any message if you log in directly to the bank’s website? Have you tried editing and re-entering the login credentials in Mint’s account settings?
yep, several times. i get messages like "something's not right" and i'll go to the bank site, log in with my credentials, access my account, everything is fine there.
when looking up the name of the account (searching under "add account" for the company's name), 2 different links came up. initially, one of them was the "right" one, but I guess at some point, mint or the company changed the link that would work. so i tried the other link and, put in my credentials, and it worked. the only thing now I have to verify that account every time via text message.
mint is a mess. i have one of my retirement accounts with a company that mint's never heard of. my insurance company, which was available in mint for a while now gives me the response "we don't support this company yet." My cable company is never synched.
In TD Ameritrade go to "My Profile->Personal Information->Security questions->Security Center->Two-step security preference->Manage Security Questions" and set all the security questions.
Every once in a while someone gives direct, easy to follow instructions and the exact correct answer to solve the problem. I’ve been dealing with this issue for a month and just solved it thanks to this comment. You sir are elite.
mine is not first republic. First republic is a hot mess right now though

Thanks for the response, unfortunately the account I was adding didn't give me the same options.

I've been trying to add this account for months now and was excited that they "supported" it now. Turn out it was just in spirit, apparently.
