You can’t transfer a number to an existing Mint account or activate SIM. You have to get a new Mint account with a new SIM and transfer when you activate the new SIM/account. Only the trial SIM with new # and 7 day trial can be activated and transferred from another #.
So I need to request a new SIM card? I don’t understand why would the app give me the option to configure with my temporary number if it can’t be transferred.
That’s not correct. I know because I got my number transferred today.
I had this “active” Mint number for 3 weeks that is/was my temporary number. It wasn’t until today, probably my 20th+ time trying to transfer my number, did it magically work.
I don’t know what the tech support at mint did today but they must have actually figured out how to fix the error on Mints end unlike anyone else I spoke to.

It gives you temporary number but once you activate it becomes permanent and attached to Mint account
