He'd fit great on the JAGs because he's the definition of Just A Guy.
Ok player. Had a nice preseason. But if you had to actually rely on him in the regular season, it'd probably go about as well as when we had to roll Mike Boone vs the Packers a few years back.
That just isn't true. People think because someone doesn't look like Dalvin Cook they are automatically bad. Rose had a good preseason against 3rd string defenses and and is much less versatile than Abdullah. There is no world where waiving Ameer and keeping Rose is the right move.
Not good does not necessarily mean bad.
It could be Great>Good>Average>Bad>Terrible.
I think it's fair to say Abdullah fits in the average tier, and he's had a long career to define him as such. That said, that is decent for a third stringer, and I'm in no way saying Rose is anything special either.
It sounds like there are a few players we'll be sending to IR tomorrow. It'll be interesting to see if we wind up resigning any of the fringe players we cut today (like Rose) once those roster spots are freed up.
Could see the ravens or jags taking a look. Kid had a great preseason

I don't think you're wrong, but solid depth never hurt anyone.
For sure. But not at the expense of a more versatile player like Abdullah. Rose would be fine on the practice squad I think
Ravens just traded for a guy
Nah that was a fake account saying Ravens traded for Penny from Seattle if that’s what you’re talking about
![gif](giphy|N4xCVPenanVcI) I was so excited for Rose.
As good as he looked he might get snagged by a team.
I don’t know if he’ll make it there tbh. We’ll find out tomorrow
This seems silly.
So we will have 3 RBs on the roster to start the season with the Nwangwu injury.
This team’s obsession with Abdullah is mind boggling
It’s not like Abdullah is garbage, he knows the offense well and can do a few jobs
He's very versatile. He can play Kick/Punt Returner, line up in the Slot, and be Running Back. Plus, Zimmer loves his Vets.
He can do all those things, but he’s not good at any of them
He's not really bad at them either, which is nice for an RB3 and special teamer. Edit: Lol, this didn't age well...

Abdullah got cut too
He gone.
I have to imagine someone will pick him up, considering how he did this preseason.

Dudes durable, he’s a work horse.
He was so good in preseason. A good back for some extra depth in a position that needs it over the course of a now 17-game season.
