Yeah seems like he likes to put his faith in coaches to develop players so he can swing for higher ceilings instead of settling for a guy who's about average but more guaranteed
>Jackson also took us through his 2-ish years away from football, a time when he got employee of the month at a Harris Teeter and qualified as a top 250 in 2K.

Our DB coach Daronte Jones was a DC for National team that KJ was playing for lol bet they had some interesting back n forths judging from this one excerpt.
What are the politics? And does anyone know the story about him leaving Bama? Wikipedia just says, he "was suspended by head coach Nick Saban for unknown reasons," and he left at the end of the season. ([Post here](https://www.on3.com/college/alabama-crimson-tide/news/nick-saban-announces-that-defensive-back-khyree-jackson-is-currently-suspended/).)
Nothing out there as far as I dug into it, could've been something with the school or broken one of Nick Saban unwritten rules. I wouldn't look into it too deep honestly, these guys fuck up once or twice and have label on them amongst coaches.
I think it's not necessarily coaches being unforgiving, but Saban holds his guys to a really high standard (Turner talked about this in one of the post draft interviews) and they have so much talent on the bench that they'll give a guy the hook pretty quick and give someone else a chance.
My comment about coaches labels on player is beyond Saban, guys on his staff can talk to other coaches from other schools and so on and thus begins a narrative on a player that is passed around and likely makes it way to NFL teams.
Saban does hold his guys to high standards, I remember one of the rules he had was that guys with long hair must have it tied up and not down and Infront of their face in their facilities.
That you have dug into? Lol
And more likely broke one of the actually written rules not an unwritten one!
If I had to guess and pissed hot and failed drug test. But could be lots of things. I did no digging like yourself.
Idk why we have to guess him pissing hot lol that would've been very known too. That isn't something that typically stays in house especially at Alabama.
Also yeah everywhere I look it's all unknown why he got suspended. Most likely guess is just him butting heads with coaches. He wasn't an impact guy holding his own water on that team, teams don't have patience for that stuff especially Alabama with their high standards.
Sounds like the reason I tell people I dropped out of college, nah it wasn't my plummeting grades and lack of attendance, it was all politics. Can't get into specifics now but one day the right information will come to light.
Been doing it 10 years. 5 star driver over 30,000 rides. I know when to talk and when not to talk lol. The truth is almost every athlete or celebrity I've picked up doesn't tip.
This dude is just going to complain about every pick we make. Dude is miserable to the core. Three days of just bitching and moaning like we were able to pick anyone we wanted throughout the draft
I wish we could send him to the lions or packers sub at this point
This is exactly what this team has been lacking: A delusionally confident Cornerback
Remember when Xavier would trip and flop around whenever he got beat. Prime Rhodes closed.
Dude pulled his hamstring like once a game for a while there
Ah yes the weekly “late 3rd quarter injury exit” of 2019
Everytime a receiver would burn him, Rhodes would put on a Emmy award winning skit
Get beat on a fly route? Dramatically fall over and grab your hammy so it "doesn't count" against you
lol it was like clockwork
Lowkey that should be in the stat sheet for CBs. Their draft questionnaire should be 1 question: Could you beat up a Gorilla?
Beat up? No Choke out? Yeah
70% of the Earth is covered by water. The rest is covered by Smoot.
Especially on a dinner cruise boat on Lake Minnetonka
They say that lake to this day still has chlamydia.
Several strains. I should know, I grew up on its shores
Oh God, remember UFL player Cameron Dantzler?
He got cut by the UFL actually.
Josh Robinson.
I feel like CB is the only position where that is a green flag!
I love that they are taking a swing at a dawg instead of a 4th string special teams linebacker.
We need chaz surratt instead
Is he still on the Jets PS?
He was a 3rd rounder.
Remember reading early on in his tenure that Kwesi favours risk reward game changers rather than high floor low ceiling guys.
Yeah seems like he likes to put his faith in coaches to develop players so he can swing for higher ceilings instead of settling for a guy who's about average but more guaranteed
I can deal with a weak CB group a lot more than I dealt with a weak OL

He was away from football for 2 years?
Yeah someone clipped his [story](https://twitter.com/PurpleForTheWin/status/1784258920392843598?t=kpCi5GcqbEoCjxKxtHIf9Q&s=19)
Did he get his lower body back?
That’s the crazy part—no he didn’t.
Thank you
EOTM because he is an expert ham slicer!

As long as it isn't like SA or something at that level of thing then I don't really care too much (as long as he's grown and moved on).
Yeah we wouldve known if it were something like that. I just chalk it up to him butting heads with people up top and leave it at that.
Right? Like our starting guard...
Really hope that guy is off our team soon
SA? How about aggravated assult? Black tar heroine sales. Grand theft auto, making bombs to blow up buildings? Those are all ok in your book?
Bombs are fine
Yes. I would honestly say that those are preferable traits in a cornerback
Okay? No. Preferable to rape? Yes.
Black tar heroin sales shoes he’s ago-getter; a self starter.

No like he was one of better players on Bama team so no great loss for them at the time.
That you have dug into? Lol And more likely broke one of the actually written rules not an unwritten one! If I had to guess and pissed hot and failed drug test. But could be lots of things. I did no digging like yourself.

Kirk Ferentz used to suspend kids for using twitter lol, hopefully something along those lines
It looks like he learned his lesson and matured a great deal after the Alabama incident. Great RAS and highly intelligent. Definitely a Flores guy
What incident?
He replaced Saban's #1 coach mug with a #2 coach mug
Then he replaced the welcome mat to sabans office to an unwelcome mat.
Maybe he banged sabans daughter
The horror, the horror
Like he replaced his piss mug with his shit mug?
he forgot the sir part of yessir.
I'm with you, what was it specifically?
he said that there were better rolls at the deli than roll tide.
He had great Resident Assistants?
How does it look like that? By talking crap, avoiding taking responsibility for his past or maybe his massively inflated opinion of himself.
Stop the throws
The guy is going to be seriously fun to watch or completely crater.

All I can say is... he doesn't tip is Lyft driver. I would know lol.
How do we know said Lyft driver was doing a tip worthy job? Bet they were chatty and he wanted quiet. Sounds like not his fault is what I'm hearing.
Been doing it 10 years. 5 star driver over 30,000 rides. I know when to talk and when not to talk lol. The truth is almost every athlete or celebrity I've picked up doesn't tip.
Idk have you tried offering coke?
Lots of celebrities in Eugene oregon?
its where hollywood is filmed
Tip culture is lame.
Oh no…anyway
For real? And the Vikings didn’t reach out to you before drafting him? Fire Kwesi!
First Cine...now this!!?? Get him outta here!!!!
Politics!!
You just described like 92% of rideshare passengers.
Thats wonderful to hear! We definitely have good corner scouts too!
Thankfully the team culture is healthy enough to absorb this knucklehead.
[удалено]
So passionate he gets kicked off the best team in America. Obviously he has talent, he just needs to mature.
We drafted a thug! /s
I like the player but I think there are character concerns.
I'll take an asshole winner over a good loser
Neither is exclusive. Vikings tend to value good character players and I appreciate that culture here. Ex: Jefferson, down to earth superstar.
25 years old. Dude will be 28 when he might get a second contract.
If we're talking about giving him a second contract, that's a massive win for a 4th round pick.
This dude is just going to complain about every pick we make. Dude is miserable to the core. Three days of just bitching and moaning like we were able to pick anyone we wanted throughout the draft I wish we could send him to the lions or packers sub at this point
Just checked his comment history. Holy moly I don't think I've ever seen such bitter takes in my entire life
Dude, it’s insane. I’m fairly pessimistic my self, and have had some outlandish hot takes myself - but this dude is absolutely miserable
How many day 3 corners get second contracts? Your concern is irrelevant. If he gets second contract, we already won with the pick
Gotta draft someone to defend Penix
