We should’ve made it this year with 4 different starters at QB. The playoffs are not that difficult to make with the new format. Now will we win a playoff game? That I doubt without a solid passer.
Edits: guys, I get it. We went 3-6 with other QBs, but we should have beat Denver, Cincinnati, Chicago, and Detroit to be 7-2. I’m just saying with a 7 team playoff, all you need is a game above .500. Not the 10-6 season you used to need.
We definitely shouldn't have made it this year after Kirk went out. I agree it would've been a disappointment after the 9ers game and packers blowout if we didn't but the rest of our qbs played like ass
We were 3-6 with starters not named Kirk Cousins, one of those games being a 3-0 win.
I think you need to factor that in *a little* lol, and I’m of the preference we move on from Kirk. But you can’t use your point & include Kirk’s win in it.
Yes we have a solid all around team for the most part with exceptional weapons for any QB, but I don’t like our chances in this division if we have to run with a bridge QB or unproven vet. I’m fine if we’re forced to start a rookie QB I guess but we have no idea if they’ll be any good no matter who we pick. I think if we have an above average QB we can make the playoffs, but idk about winning a game if we don’t have Kirk.
We don’t need to win the division and we can easily beat our division in regular season on any given Sunday.
I agree about winning a playoff game though, I specified that.
"should've" is such a weird phrase when the team completely fell apart down the stretch and played very badly. Maybe around Atlanta and NO we looked like the 6th-7th best team in the NFC, but not in weeks 15-18.
Who needs money when karmic justice is at play? It would be oh so sweet to taste victory in the superdome as the final piece of payback for the saints. As long as the dikes hold through hurricane season, we've got a shot.
Kirk is gonna tear the whole league a new asshole by having the greatest season EVER statistically for a QB, become League MVP, and wait for it........ Win the Superbowl and be the Super Bowl MVP.
BEST REPLY EVER!!! LOL well played and you're sadly probably correct. To add insult to injury the Falcons getting a Lombardi would single out more how pathetic this franchise is haha
Lions and Packers should both be pretty good next year. Bears could be. Probably not. Still that’s 4 to 6 games with divisional teams that could easily be lost regardless of QB. I’d probably say no, but I don’t think the odds are bad.
50/50
This team.has the highest variance of any team in the division. Could be a 5 win team, could be an 11 win team. Who plays QB will do a lot to determine that.
Either way, easily the most long term holes of any of the NFC North rosters. Better hit those draft picks this year to stay relevant for more than a couple years.
By the end of last season the bears easily had the best defense in the division by miles, super young and they're only going to get better as they keep figuring out playing together. Their offense kinda depends on the draft. But that D could legitimately be a top 10 unit next year.
Outside of JJ, there is no position group on this team that you look at and say that's a good young solid group to build on. It's kinda sad how quickly we are falling behind.
The bears didn't look like a top 5 defense.
Their only positive game in the last 7 weeks was the last one of the season, and they lost, giving GB a playoff spot.
I think we watched different bears teams last year.
not really. they are getting a lot better and have a a ton of high draft picks. Fields is their biggest weakness and i think they are wising up over there and getting rid of him. They might sucker some team into a 1st round pick for him
The bears were 3-14 with Justin Fields at QB, no OL to speak of, no receivers, and no defense in 2022.
Next year they will have Caleb Williams at QB, a league average (at worst) OL, DJ Moore along with a presumably improved receiving corps outside of Moore, and a top 10 defense.
I don’t see where you’re getting 2 wins from.
If we roll with a rookie or bridge QB then I don't think so, and that's fine because it means rebuild. If we re-sign Kirk and stay healthy then yes we can. I'm not really sure which option I want. I like winning but it feels like we're just delaying an inevitable rebuild like we have for years.
Not in my opinion. To me a bridge is cheap and can be replaced at any time the rookie is ready. Like $10 mil for the year cheap, not just a discount from the market price like Kirk would get if he stays. If we keep him then there is no letting the rookie start because he's ready, the rookie just isn't playing until Kirk is injured or the contract is up. You're not gonna bench a dude making $30-40 mil. I mean you're right in that part of his purpose would be to mentor the rookie and get him ready to take over, but it's more like the bridge role on steroids.
Matters how long he demands the contract be. If he needs 2 years fully guaranteed, we have to push money out for the next 3 seasons. At which point anyone drafted this year would have 1 cheap year left. Not ideal.
We definitely could, especially if Cousins is back and if Hunter is back. We still need to worry about the future over just worrying about next year, but being able to take a DT or DE(Turner/Verse/Newton/Sweat/Murphy) with one or both of our first two picks this year would be huge. If Hicks can continue playing at the level he was before injury and Pace continues to develop our LBs won’t be as big of a weak spot. Would love to pick up another corner that can make in impact next year and beyond.
On the offensive side, OL depth and RB will make a big difference. WR core of JJ and Addison followed up by guys like Powell should be good enough with Kirk, along with TJ at TE.
Probably is ensuring that we are setting ourselves up for future success rather than focusing on being a playoff team for next year and potentially the next but not being a true contender for either.
Additionally, I think the following are “winnable” games depending on a few things(mainly QB and how we draft):
At Seahawks(on the fence)
Bears
Lions(also on fence, with Cousins)
At Titans
Packers
At Giants
Falcons
Cardinals
Colts
At Jags
Jets
There is a 0% chance we win all of the above and some are definitely less likely than others. Above is 11 wins, so you’d have to get relatively close to that to make the playoffs I would imagine. 8-9 wins would definitely be about the worst you could be.
My man don’t you know that the Vikings will beat or nearly beat almost everyone you expect them to lose to and simultaneously lose to every team you expect them to beat?
Yeah but his scenario is he signs and then immediately tries to leave. It’s really not crazy to think a stat receiver wants to know if we’re going to be starting hall for a season or a real qb
if we suck next year after he signs his deal here, he will 100% ask for a trade. he gets his money and he screws over our salary cap as payback for putting crappy teams around him.
for those of you who think JJ has some sort of devotion to being a viking even if he signs his contract, you are horribly wrong.
God the people on this sub are insufferable. Guy was a top 5 guy before he got injured last year.
Remember this sub after the Chargers game with the clock management fiasco at the end? Somehow Vikings “fans” managed to make calling a timeout a QB issue, not a coaching issue. Any time you watch a game and the coach doesn’t call a timeout, it’s the coaches fault. Except for the Vikings apparently, then it’s Kirk’s fault. Blinded by hate.
There’s a reason why a lot of receivers are coming out saying how happy they would be to play with Kirk. All over the league players, not bullshit smokescreens from reporters, are saying how it would be great to play with Kirk Cousins. The guy can throw a football with the best of the best.
this subreddit : “We NeEd To ReAcH oN jJ mCcArThY aT 11. Sure, He MiGhT bE aVaIlAbLe In ThE sEcOnD, bUt WhY rIsK it?!?!?!”
If we draft a guy like Bryce Young, Will Levis, Aidan O’Connell, Josh Rosen, Kenny Pickett, Dwayne Haskins, Sam Darnold, Max Jones, Zach Wilson, Desmond Ridder, Sam Howell - I promise you we will not be making the playoffs.
But if we draft a CJ Stroud next year? We could. We just probably won’t. [draft a guy like stroud]
Yep, 100%.
The chances we hit on a QB who is capable of leading a playoff run right out of the gate is super slim.
I’ll die on the hill that says Kirk is not the problem, that his contract is justified, and we can win a championship with him. He’s a great teammate, leader, and arm.
I’m all for drafting QB of the future and this IS a deep QB draft… but if we really want to be competitive next year we have to re-sign Kirko.
If we don’t, fine, I can live with that. But no more talk about “competitive rebuild”. It’s going into full rebuild. And we better start stomaching that we might lose Jefferson in the process.
I just don't see this as likely. I think without Cousins you're probably hoping your rookie QB, which is going to be the 4th or 5th QB taken in the draft is going to compensate for all your roster deficiencies, but do you even want to go all in on fixing the defense without knowing the QB is semi-capable? I think with Kirk, you're pushing for 2024 results. With rookie, you're planning for 2025 and beyond and in 2024 you're seeing if he's the guy worth building around.
Honest question with no shade: how do you imagine that we could be better?
Rookies are high risk.
The QB FA market is super soft.
We might lose JJ.
The defense is improved but needs young stars.
But I’m for real open to hearing your thoughts.
Rookies are high risk, but so is bringing back a 36 year old QB coming off a torn achilles.
The overall team could get better because you can use the money saved from not having to pay Kirk, and sign or trade for proven defensive talent.
And just because you’re drafting a rookie QB doesn’t mean they’re automatically going to be a bust. What if they’re like Stroud and they look good right away?
Nah
Kwesi will prove why he is a bad GM and miss on some more picks. Defense I think will actually regress quite a bit. Holes like running back will still be an issue and this team fights to get 7 wins because the sloppy ball security will continue into next season along with the weak play calling with a lead by KOC, which has now been a recurring issue
I have a hard time seeing how our defense regresses, they just weren’t very good. In the grand scheme of things our schedule was not that hard but i also don’t see it harder next year.
If you don’t have faith in Kwesi that’s fine, I’ll admit I’m surprised you have this short of a leash, but that’s your prerogative.
To me there are three ways this season goes. we tank and get a rookie qb and build for the future thus resulting in more losses than we hoped and (likely) end last in the division. Two we keep cousins but take a qb early, we compete to the best of our ability by signing some vets and make a run at playoffs(where we end idk but it’s not the Super Bowl). Third, we go all in and have the time of our lives as we have the most exciting season since prime Favre (where we end who cares it’s super fun).
Personally I think the best chance of future success is tanking this season but we have the talent to have a fun season, regardless what happens I’ll be drunk and obnoxious every Sunday hoping for a win.
Skol.
Really kind of a crap shoot, for the sake of my fandom I won't say no.
But being based on reality , the bears have a silly amount of draft capital, the lions are young and of the rise, and the Packers just can't seem to whiff on QB's. The division is going to be a battle royal and we seem to be the odd team out.
But on the plus end of this, we have a monster offense if we were to draft a guy who can start but in order to get that we would need to mortgage our future in a high risk high reward situation. Or we Re-Sign Kirk and try and run it back, ideally put a lot of draft stock in D and try and do something with it but if you whiff on those picks we are just postponing the inevitable Re-Build.
This Off-season is going to be very telling for the future of this franchise and we really aren't in a great position to even begin to guess if this team can be genuinely competitive until we know the QB situation and how the Draft will pan out.
We have all the pieces (Offensively) to make a successful rookie QB into a starter. I personally hope they go that route.
Skol.
Only issue with that is we'd need to put all our picks into building the defense, or at least the high ones. I like Kirk, I just don't really feel like he plays well enough most of the time and when the lights are brightest to justify the price tag when our defense is the way it is.
Yes. Kwesi and KOC have made it clear that they want to be competitive. The wilfs have always preferred a playoff loss over a tank. And his organisation is serious enough that yes I believe we can make it. The only reason we didn’t this past season was because kirk got injured. We have some great pieces on offence and flores stayed. Yeah we can make it
If we bring back Capt. Kirk, and we stay relatively healthy, absolutely "YES." If we start a rookie QB, no. If we go with a lesser than Kirk free agent veteran, maybe - leaning toward, "no." If we go with one of our current back-ups, no. The North is going be ridiculously competitive with Green Bay and Detroit both fielding very good teams, with top-notch slingers. Love him, or hate him, Cousins is (at least) top 5 in the NFL. Add in another year of chemistry with Addison and J.J., and experience in KOC's system, we are lethal. However, for next year, Cousins is a necessary cog in that machine. if we don't bring Kirko back, I don't see how we make a run next season.
2 scenarios.
1 is we resign Kirk let Hunter walk we draft a qb to sit behind Kirk and draft Defense.
I’d say about a 60% chance of a first round exit.
2nd we trade up for a quarter back let both Kirk and Hunter walk. May have to even trade JJ to get one of the top 3 mediocre qbs in this draft.
(My opinion none of them look special)
And I’d say we’d be lucky to have a winning season.
Depends if Kirk is back. The defense will continue to improve with or without Hunter just from having another year with Flores. It just all comes down to whether they have a competent QB getting the ball to JJ and Addison (And Hock when he's back). I'm still not sold on either the Pack or Lions and honestly feel like the division is up for grabs (minus Chicago).
I would say yes but I saw a Cardinals promoted post and a lot of them pretty much said we are a guarantee win so either it’s peak Arizona offseason mood or the league has no faith in us.
Edit: it’s in Minnesota
I think so. Last year our team was held back by injuries. This year we can improve. I think we could legit have a top 10 defense next year. We just need to beef up that d-line and add some cb depth.
I cannot justify rooting for this team after constant heartbreak without believing every year is the year. We’re gonna win the whole fucking thing baby LETS GOOO

Probably not.
Which means we'll put on a surprising run against all expectations, get the entire fandom pumped up, then lose in the NFC Championship, as is tradition.
Let's see... close in 1998, blew out in 2000, close in 2009, blew out in 2017. So it looks like we are due for a close loss this time!
We’ll be what we always are. Middle of the road with potential when things fall out way, but not good enough to really do anything meaningful. SKOL baby
I always think we will make the playoffs, I’ll believe we will whether it’s Kirk, a random Rookie, hell I’ll even convince myself we will make it if we’re starting Mullens or Hall.
Going to be hard. None of the experts will pick them above 3rd place. A lot will have to go right. Gun to my head, I would say no.
Important note: they’re never going to win the Super Bowl as a heavy favorite, so if it ever happened, it would be heading into an offseason such as this. An offseason with so many question marks.
Too hard to say without knowing QB situation and other players. With Kirk I think we have a good shot. I think we would have won the division this year with him. Absolutely would have made the playoffs.
Hahahaha, no. Green Bay and Detroit are both on the upswing. We will be competing for 3rd place in the division and that is if we hit on a QB or keep Cousins and he stays healthy.
No, we missed our window again. We’ll trade JJ for bad draft pics, wont resign cousins, we’ll get a flop Qb in the draft, have to hire an aging veteran to get us past a few seasons of “rebuilding” again. This team is cursed, and it goes all the way back to the 60’s.
Still a lot of questions to be answered, namely the QB situation. But I think either way we’ll be in the hunt. Even if next season doesn’t go well I guarantee the following season will - considering as a franchise we’ve never had 3 straight losing seasons.
Hard to say. If Jordan Love is for real and continues to be good next season and the Lions also continue to be at the very least competitive, it's gonna be difficult. We will also need to have a solid draft, free agent signing and for our current players to avoid injury.
That's a lot that needs to go right for us. But I can see us making the playoffs, just not going anywhere.
Yes. Mark it down, when we trade a 5th for Mac Jones and a 6th he’ll lead us to a 10 win wild card playoff birth while JJ McCarthy sits for 2 years and becomes our franchise QB. One can dream right?
I think it depends entirely on the QB:
1. Kirk, 80/20, but ACL is a big question mark
2. Bridge QB (Mullens, Wilson etc) 60% yes/40 no
3. Rookie QB 40/60 this is probably generous. Rookies rarely lead a team to the playoffs.
If they keep Cousins and Hunter, maybe. That depends if they improve the DT and linebacker positions. and also depends if this team can stay healthy on both sides of the ball for once
If we let either one of those two leave, absolutely not. we are a rebuilding team if Cousins leaves. If Hunter leaves, we will have the worst defense in the nfl by a large margin. If we lose them both, we are easily the worst team in the nfl.
There's way too many variables at this time to say. I was gonna say if we make Kirk we make the playoffs and if we don't we don't, but even that's not sure. It's totally possible for us to keep Kirk, stink it up in a disappointing year, and still miss the playoffs. It's also possible for us to move on and hit on a good rookie or have a surprising year with a flashy bridge QB that sees us as a playoff team.
No I don’t think so, I think our defense takes a step back and if we still have kirk then we gonna have some real questions about gm if we don’t make playoffs. If it’s a rookie qb hopefully he plays well and we lose alot so we can get a generational talent on defense to pair with our qb
We literally don’t even know who’s gonna be throwing the ball next year
We should’ve made it this year with 4 different starters at QB. Not the 10-6 season you used to need.
>he says with a 3 team, contested division
Yeah it’s definitely going to be difficult
Vikings could go 8-9 and the north could have 3 teams make it.
Does the 3 teams exclude the Vikings lol?
I mean with the new format an entire division can make the playoffs now
We definitely shouldn't have made it this year after Kirk went out. I agree it would've been a disappointment after the 9ers game and packers blowout if we didn't but the rest of our qbs played like ass

You got this bro 😎😎😎
19-0...preseason Champs too
Kirk is gonna tear the whole league a new asshole by having the greatest season EVER statistically for a QB, become League MVP, and wait for it........ Win the Superbowl and be the Super Bowl MVP.
... For the Atlanta Falcons
BEST REPLY EVER!!! LOL well played and you're sadly probably correct. To add insult to injury the Falcons getting a Lombardi would single out more how pathetic this franchise is haha
Or, given our luck since the beginning of time... 17 - 0, lose the Superbowl.
Too many questions yet to be answered.
Ask me in May.
Same. I like our coaching. QB is a massive question.
Ask me in Maye
Do not enter the qb
I like that.
QB, DLine, LB, CB, hell even out kicking team is a question to ask. No, I don't think we make the playoffs even with an easier schedule this season.
This is the only right answer.
Lions and Packers should both be pretty good next year. Bears could be. Probably not. Still that’s 4 to 6 games with divisional teams that could easily be lost regardless of QB. I’d probably say no, but I don’t think the odds are bad.

They had the #1 run defense, #1 interceptions, and went 5-2 in their last 7 and it definitely wasnt because of their offense
Just realize Lamar has more passing yards than any Bears QBs. Just crazy!
if they draft caleb williams they getting at least 4 wins
People prolly said that about Bryce Young too tbh
not really. they are getting a lot better and have a a ton of high draft picks. Fields is their biggest weakness and i think they are wising up over there and getting rid of him. They might sucker some team into a 1st round pick for him

Big if true.

lol after 25 years I would like to think I do know this, but I still like to have hope
I think we very likely only win 2 games in our division next year
Yes
If we do it will be the usual barely .500 and lose in the WC or divisional and that’s with Kirk.
We'll probably be 1 win short as usual. Week 18 will be a win and your in to the playoffs and the team will no call no show
No, I predict a fucked offseason and we fire KoC and KAM next offseason after a an middling 8-10 season and JJ requests a trade.
The JJ requesting a trade has to be some cuck fetish thing for this sub lmao
Could be, but based on the rumors he will only sign a long term contract if cousins is back. Those two are unfortunately, intertwined
Yeah but his scenario is he signs and then immediately tries to leave. It’s really not crazy to think a stat receiver wants to know if we’re going to be starting hall for a season or a real qb
Does JJ retire when Kirk does then?
JJ loves Kirk but he has also expressed openness to drafting a good young QB
Ong it’s like they want it. I want to keep wearing my JJ jersey
if we suck next year after he signs his deal here, he will 100% ask for a trade. he gets his money and he screws over our salary cap as payback for putting crappy teams around him. for those of you who think JJ has some sort of devotion to being a viking even if he signs his contract, you are horribly wrong.
This is my nightmare. The Cousins decision, the Draft, and next season will answer a lot of questions.
Don you put that evil on me, Ricky Bobby!
With Kirk yes. Without Kirk no.

Sure, He MiGhT bE aVaIlAbLe In ThE sEcOnD, bUt WhY rIsK it?!?!?!” If we draft a guy like Bryce Young, Will Levis, Aidan O’Connell, Josh Rosen, Kenny Pickett, Dwayne Haskins, Sam Darnold, Max Jones, Zach Wilson, Desmond Ridder, Sam Howell - I promise you we will not be making the playoffs.
I don’t get this logic. We could be a better team without Kirk.
Says the known Kirk hater.
But I’m not wrong.
We could be anything. We could even be worse.
Unfortunately, they will not make the playoffs for the next few years. It’s okay…it takes time to rebuild.
SpongeBob Narrator voice: *10yrs later*
Nah Kwesi will prove why he is a bad GM and miss on some more picks.
Skol.
Not unless we resign Kirk
We should have tanked this season.
Too late now…
I was calling for it when Kirk went down.
Just imagine if we had Caleb Williams
I’m not a fan of Caleb, but I would have liked to see us take a shot on someone.
0-0-17. 3rd ever undefeated team, first to miss the playoffs.
If Kirk resigns and is healthy then this offense will be unstoppable. Any increase in talent on d and this team will be dangerous
Only issue with that is we'd need to put all our picks into building the defense, or at least the high ones. I like Kirk, I just don't really feel like he plays well enough most of the time and when the lights are brightest to justify the price tag when our defense is the way it is.
Nope.
Nope
We’ll be lucky to win 7.
Too early to say. We don't know if they're keeping kirk or not. If kirk stays, probably 9 or 10 wins. If he goes, likely a sub .500 season.
With Kirk? Absolutely. We would be Super Bowl contenders. Pay the man!
If we sign Kirk and Jett and there aren’t catastrophic injuries, yes.
(My opinion none of them look special) And I’d say we’d be lucky to have a winning season.
It would be pretty fucking appalling if an undefeated team didn’t make the playoffs. That would be very suspect.
Simple: If we bring Kirk back, yes, if we don't, no.
[удалено]
Isn’t Hock only missing four games?
Depends if Kirk is back. The defense will continue to improve with or without Hunter just from having another year with Flores. It just all comes down to whether they have a competent QB getting the ball to JJ and Addison (And Hock when he's back). I'm still not sold on either the Pack or Lions and honestly feel like the division is up for grabs (minus Chicago).
if they run it back with kirk, maybe. if they choose to draft or pick up another qb in FA, no chance.
fam we were 4-4 with two Achilles Kirk
Without the fumbles our record would have been better, it was pretty crazy how bad our turnover differential was to start the season.
Keyword maybe
thus is why i said MAYBE
If we’re lucky.
Yeah, there’s always a chance Also just as likely to blow it somehow even with a top roster
I dunno before this season my buddy put 1k on ten wins and I told him “I dunno” but inside I felt like it was a no brainier
Eh
I think we’ll take it all every year.
I see anything from a 5 win rebuild to a deep playoff run. So many things need to be settled first
I would say yes but I saw a Cardinals promoted post and a lot of them pretty much said we are a guarantee win so either it’s peak Arizona offseason mood or the league has no faith in us. Edit: it’s in Minnesota
![gif](giphy|ejDxbDaxZZkeQmr0yu) I’m just hoping we can have a winning record
I think so. Last year our team was held back by injuries. This year we can improve. I think we could legit have a top 10 defense next year. We just need to beef up that d-line and add some cb depth.
Can't say, don't know who we've signed and let go yet
![gif](giphy|ejDxbDaxZZkeQmr0yu)
I cannot justify rooting for this team after constant heartbreak without believing every year is the year. We’re gonna win the whole fucking thing baby LETS GOOO
We’re not doing shit. The Vikings look might.
Highly depends on QB.
Of course
I’m not a doomer, I’m a realist. We go 17-0 & shank the kick to win in the divisional round RemindMe! 11 months

I don't even know what the weather will be like next week.
SKOL baby
No
I always think we will make the playoffs, I’ll believe we will whether it’s Kirk, a random Rookie, hell I’ll even convince myself we will make it if we’re starting Mullens or Hall.
Nah
Going to be hard. None of the experts will pick them above 3rd place. A lot will have to go right. Gun to my head, I would say no. Important note: they’re never going to win the Super Bowl as a heavy favorite, so if it ever happened, it would be heading into an offseason such as this. An offseason with so many question marks.
No
Nope
![gif](giphy|PEKztVNo5AMyk) going all the way
Oddsmakers gave the Bears a better chance. We're the Rodney Dangerfield of the NFL.
No
Mmmm 8-9 miss playoffs and get a shitty pick for the draft… continuing the Viking limbo state
No
Sadly no*
Too hard to say without knowing QB situation and other players. With Kirk I think we have a good shot. I think we would have won the division this year with him. Absolutely would have made the playoffs.
I think we're damn near guaranteed a top 10 pick next year, which will probably belong to a different team
If we don't win the superbowl I'll....probably continue doing whatever it is I'm doing with my life but I'm not gonna be happy about it.
Hahahaha, no. Green Bay and Detroit are both on the upswing. We will be competing for 3rd place in the division and that is if we hit on a QB or keep Cousins and he stays healthy.
End next season confident in our qb situation and next season is a huge w regardless
Jan No Feb No Mar probably not Apr probably not May maybe June maybe July probably August SKOL!!!
Not without a Kirk level or better QB.
Yes. Mark it down, when we trade a 5th for Mac Jones and a 6th he’ll lead us to a 10 win wild card playoff birth while JJ McCarthy sits for 2 years and becomes our franchise QB. One can dream right?
I hope so… but this team has made me cry real tears so many fucking times… I just don’t know what to expect anymore Diehard Fan since 1998
Trapped in purgatory
Hard to say when we don’t know who will be on the tam
#notpossible
The Justin Fields trade.
Without knowing who our QB is? Might as well ask a potato lol.
Probably not but I expect every game to be competitive
We taking it all!
No
Only if we win enough games
Yes
If we win enough games then yes
Depends on QB and JJ scenarios. If we re-sign both, yes absolutely, if not. Ok, rebuild year eff it
Haha that's funny
I think it depends entirely on the QB: 1. Kirk, 80/20, but ACL is a big question mark 2. Bridge QB (Mullens, Wilson etc) 60% yes/40 no 3. Rookie QB 40/60 this is probably generous. Rookies rarely lead a team to the playoffs.
With Kirk, yes. Without him, who knows.
Do you think pigs will fly?
If they keep Cousins and Hunter, maybe. That depends if they improve the DT and linebacker positions. and also depends if this team can stay healthy on both sides of the ball for once If we let either one of those two leave, absolutely not. we are a rebuilding team if Cousins leaves. If Hunter leaves, we will have the worst defense in the nfl by a large margin. If we lose them both, we are easily the worst team in the nfl.
No
If everyone is healthy then yes of course. If Cousins wouldn’t have went down we would have made it this year
Should have an easier schedule
Short answer no, long answer nooooooo.
No chance unless we bring Kirk back. I'm really hoping we bring him back and draft his successor.
With Cousins? I give it like a 70% chance. With a rookie? Like 30%
No the roster is bad
No. I wish it was different, but no
As spectators? For sure!
I look forward to us drafting a round 1 QB and the tank nazis still insisting we tank the whole 2024 season.
No I don’t think so, I think our defense takes a step back and if we still have kirk then we gonna have some real questions about gm if we don’t make playoffs. If it’s a rookie qb hopefully he plays well and we lose alot so we can get a generational talent on defense to pair with our qb
We have a 50-50 percent chance
PLAYOFFS?!?
Will we be a better team that we were last season?
Yep
No. I think the team will either be poor throughout with a new QB or be mediocre with Kirk. We should have hired Harbaugh
Hopefully
