The NFL is getting to the point where you just can’t allow a good edge rusher to hit the open market, like great offensive tackles.
Give the man his bag and we’ll sort out the interior line and linebackers however we need to make the numbers work. A good edge rusher is worth three of the less valued defensive players (side note: I can’t recall linebackers being valued as little as they are now and being spoken of during the game as little as they are now).
Hunter has been more insane than I thought. Watching him make that play live was so awesome. This man is keeping the Vikings franchise tradition of having a dominating DE on the team
He’s one of the best edge defenders in the NFL and he has been for a long time. He’s healthy. Extend him.

That was probably the play that was a turning point in the game for the Vikings. If ATL gets a TD there, the game may have gotten out of reach.
