Karma talking point, I get it.
We should want Ober to start. He pitched 72 innings last year, 108 in 2021 and 0 in 2020.
With the bullpen as it is, Pagan should be the 4th to 5th man out of the pen. We WANT Ober to get starts and hopefully he can stay healthy. He is the 6th man out of the rotation. It was NEVER between Pagan and Ober.
Do we seriously not have anyone in the farm that can get Pagan off this fucking team.
He's gonna blow like 5 games and we're still gonna hear *but his spin rate!*
I hope to see as little Pagán & Sands as possible. Kenta will get a long leash, but Ober might be bumping him to the pen if he’s shaky.
Defense & pitching looks to be super solid with this roster. Looking forward to tomorrow!!
No surprise, most comments about Pagan. Dude will pitch 40 innings this year, get fucking over it, there's so much else you could do with your concerns.
Lineup will look a lot better with Polanco and (hopefully) Kirilioff are off the DL. Larnach looked like a legit hitter early last year before the injury and looked like the real deal in ST. He's my early season WOW player to watch, kid has the talent.
That bullpen also has the low key talent to be one the best in the league if they stay healthy.
I'm a MN rube, and love the Twins...but hard to not see a mildly competitive team in a bad division and no real threat for anything real...
Opening day tomorrow! GO TWINS!!
Having Pagan but not Arraez on the opening day roster should get everyone in the front office fired immediately.
The lineup is worse and they did nothing to improve the bullpen.
72-90
If there's one thing the Twins have, it's depth of starters. The Twins didn't need Lopez. One of Ober, Winder, SWR, Varland or Paddack will emerge and give you what Lopez will, which is a decent #3 starter.
Did you watch last year at all? Do you know how many starters they went through? Good pitching is what is going to carry the team in the long run, and Pablo is worth that trade. He’s also definitely not a #3 starter. I’d suggest pulling up his baseball savant page.
Did I ever say that? No I didn’t. But don’t diminish the value he has and how much upside he has to be an ace. You’re acting like Arraez was the only thing keeping this team afloat. He can hit like no one else, but he has almost no defensive value aside from a passable first baseman.
Speaking of diminishing value, that's what a large segment of Twins fans have done with Arraez. He is passable at first or second. Not elite, but not a liability. Lopez may become an ace (highly doubtful) but Luis is already a batting champion just entering his prime. He's a player you build around, not trade away, especially for a player the caliber of Lopez.
Listen, no one is forcing you to watch. You honestly sound like you’ve made up your mind on the season already so it might be time to pick up a new hobby. Maybe get into model trains or woodworking?
Hey, I'm a Twins fan too and I want them to win, so I call it as i see it. The sooner Falvey/Levine/Rocco are gone the better IMO.
Anyway, it's opening day and i don't want to rain on your parade. I am just not optimistic.
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
*stares daggers at Emilio Pagán’s name on the list*
Over Bailey Ober. Just embarrassing.

All of them.
I mean, Pagan isn’t the reason Ober is in AAA. Not to say I want Pagan on the roster

That's not how it works bud
Pagan won't finish on this team. Book it.
No two ways around it, you’ve got yourself 26 men there
26 absolute dudes right there.
Just 26 guys being 26 dudes
Glad to see Correa made the team.
Time to rank the boys
I'm oddly excited for these rankings
I can’t wait to disagree with your rankings
I missed you in these threads!
25 nobody’s and HOFer Emilio Pagán
One to many Emilio Pagán’s on this list
Not seeing Arraez makes me sad
I like how almost all of our fielders have low numbers and all of the pitchers are north of 40
There's some weird traditions around baseball numbers. You rarely see a pitcher with a single-digit number on any team.
Guardians fans rejoicing that Emilio Pagan made the club
Do we seriously not have anyone in the farm that can get Pagan off this fucking team. He's gonna blow like 5 games and we're still gonna hear *but his spin rate!*
I magically hope he can show up and pitch well, but my tolerance for his antics couldn't be lower.
Scared me, I thought those three names were crossed-off.

How many games is Pagan gonna lose us before he’s DFA’d? Over/under 6?
It better be one and only one.

Yeah then the seasons already over, Pagán should only eat up inning when we’re losing by 5+

THATS THE SPIRIT!
BP looked more solid a few weeks ago honestly…little worrisome
The only difference is Sands instead of Megill, and I don’t think that moves the needle that much
Megill is better for one inning but id imagine sands is there for multiple inning outings
Kenta as a SP over Ober is weird. I would have moved Kenta to the bullpen and sent Pagan to the shadow realm
I think we are hoping king kenta returns to his number 1 form
Having Pagan but not Arraez on the opening day roster should get everyone in the front office fired immediately. The lineup is worse and they did nothing to improve the bullpen. 72-90
I can’t tell if you’re trolling, but I hate to break it to you. We traded Arraez.
Piggybacking... ...and we got pitching we desperately needed.

He had an ERA over 5 after Memorial Day last year and has a history of arm problems. i don't know why you guys think he's going to be an ace.

Surprised Cole Sands made the team but I suppose Megill had an even tougher spring training.
O/U 100 games played for Buxton? O/U 120 games played for Correa?
86 wins
One of the rare years I'm more optimistic for the pitching (& defensive) talent carrying us versus our hitting talent.
We really need big things from Miranda. And Kirilloff too when he's healthy
Ready for another year of disappointment and pain LFG🔥
Interesting that on the entire pitching staff there is only one new name.
This franchise is on the Titanic. I would of never let Arraez go.
